The Han Wars #2

Merge and Engage

Rate this book
Both the Republic Combined Fleet and the Han Bloc Navy are reeling from their initial clashes during the opening stages of the Second Han War. The front lines have stabilized, and both fleets are preparing for their next moves. Commander Jackson Flynn, captain of the Republic cruiser RSS Repulse, is called home to recount the battle of Arrakis IV and sees for himself the evidence of a Republic that has rapidly begun to transform itself into something not so noble. Junior Captain Anka Siljan, commander of the Han Navy battlecruiser Tigr, struggles with her decision to discard everything she's ever known in a valiant attempt to bring the war to an end. But the Second Han War is nowhere close to ending. It is about to erupt in ways that neither Flynn nor Siljan could ever imagine… At a rocky, desolate place called Dolan IV-C.

Again another well written well thought out military scifi novel. Everything I enjoyed about his other books is here and more. I love how he blurs the lines between good and bad who is on who's side. Who's actually right in a battle where everyone loses something or someone.

This series just keeps firing on all cylinders.

If you want a great military sci-fi with lots of action, good characters and some twists to keep things interesting, then you should be reading The Han Wars.

The military acronyms might be too much for some, but they don't bother me.

Being self-published, this book had more typos than normal. It doesn't ruin the book, but there were more than I would have liked, so something to be aware of.

Book 2

Book 2 was an okay read and had errors throughout. The series has gotten better and the characters more likable. Some information is not needed and there are rants about items not really relevant to the overall story. There are some twists in the book and overall it was okay.

Good read

This was a good read. Their was a plot twist with one of the characters that I didn't see coming. Can't wait for the next one.

Outstanding vocal well-written! Highly recommend anybody that like sci-fi books! Great story line. Good concept linked almost to how WWII started.

Great read!

And an apt end to this space opera, tons of politics getting in the way of space battles, but that is the way it is..
