We will visit Cincinnati in June this year and as an avid walker I was excited to come across this book! In the introduction I learned that Cincinnati "earned the nickname "Paris of America" due to its impressive architecture." I can't wait to explore!

The walks are detailed describing almost step by step what you will see and experience. Points of Interest along the way have been assigned a number. History and backstories are included and add interest.

The Points of Interest are also listed separately with the address, phone and or website, which is useful information to have, especially for further research. Maps of the walking routes are also included with the route marked in red with the numbered Points of Interest dotted along the way.

This book will be a wonderful tool for us to have with us and refer to on our daily adventures in Cincinnati.

After returning to live in the Cincinnati area after decades on the west coast, I am interested in getting to know the city better. There are some interesting walks in this book to try. I found the written directions a little hard to follow but the map helps and I wish the maps were.larger. also, like any travel book, it's vulnerable to businesses closing -- many of the restaurants or shops listed in the communities have closed since 2019, their demise accelerated no doubt from COVID. But, obviously, the architectural and natural sites remain so the book is still good in that respect. Would definitely purchase an updated edition if one is ever made!
