Two words...swimming pool! Holy hotness Batman! Okay, now that that's out of the way (because it is AMAZING), let's get to the meat of this book. If you thought you loved book one (Bad Liar), then you are in for a total mind and body takeover from Beautiful Liar. It is sheer perfection and Lauren Rowe at her best! The book hangover from Bad Liar doesn't have anything on the book hangover this one will cause. You are going to be aching for more Reed and Georgina.
Georgina will instantly become your favorite Lauren Rowe heroine. In Bad Liar, she was already feisty, smart, sassy, and HOT, but in Beautiful Liar you really get to know Georgina inside and out. She's so much more than what she appears to be on the surface. Georgina in kind, sensitive, and vulnerable, all while still being the bad ass female that every woman wants to be. Reed really doesn't stand a chance with this woman, but he's going to have to learn to change his ways if he wants to keep her.
Reed has been The Man with the Midas Touch and a man that is used to getting what he wants, when he wants it, but Georgina is going to make him rethink everything he normally does. If Reed wants Georgina, then he better get out if his own way because this woman isn't going to take any of his shit. The big question is if he can do this before he really screws up his shot at true happiness with this spitfire of a woman.

Some will say that "book 2 in a trilogy is never as good", some will say "book 2 is just a filler and ways to extend the story" but let me tell you. BOOK 2 IS NEITHER OF THOSE THINGS! Book 2, is just as epic, just as strong, just as brilliant! And if you can believe it, EVEN HOTTER!!!!!
Lauren is developing a story filled with heat, lust, passion and love. There is no denying the chemistry Reed & Georgie have. There is no denying the love that is developing between them. Reed and Georgie have fast solidified themselves as my favourite Lauren Rowe couple ever. I love them so much!

Lauren, it just keeps getting better and better!
Oh Reed and his Midas Touch. Ladies, this one is so flipping HOT, your knee’s will be weak! Jeez I’m still fanning myself off.
This second installment is just brilliant brilliant brilliant. Reed is still cocky as ever but under his mask there’s a little bit of sweetness that makes us all SWOON, in all seriousness Reed is so fricken screwed when it comes to Georgie, she’s got him wrapped around her finger. Together they are still fire, with explosive chemistry that is so sexy. Book 2 is filled with loads of passion and STEAM! I mean what more could you ask for?!
We finally get more into Georgies head and let me tell you, she is everything, such an amazing heroine and well written. She has all the qualities that we look for, but she is still a sassy badass and extremely goal driven. She also pries into Reed’s everyday life and background so we get more details into his twisted dark but lovable mind. Watching her bring Reed to his knee’s is exhilarating, YOU GO GIRL.
Also I want to add... I was literally shell SHOCKED towards the end, and Georgie, you badass motherf**cking rockstar I would of done the same thing ;)
Words really don’t do this book/series justice. I can’t wait for the third and final installment, it’s going to be mind blowing.

Woah... So I thought Bad Liar (book one) was amazing, well the best was yet to come. I didn't know it was possible but Lauren just topped book one and delivered and an exceptional continuation to Bad Liar and gave us Beautiful Liar. It was even more intense, all-consuming and addictive as book one. Book one we meet Reed and Georgina and see the start of their connection/relationship. Book two shows us so much more.
Reed never thought he'd fall for or need a woman like he has fallen and needs for Georgina. When she isn't with him, his body, mind, and soul crave this woman like he's never craved a thing before in his life.
But there is so much more to book two as well, but I am not about to ruin it for ANYONE, I believe people need to go into this trilogy as blind as possible, and not look at spoiler reviews! I know I am thankful I did because it's so much more intense not knowing what to expect!
Once again, Lauren Rowe raises the bar high and leaves me in complete awe, utterly spellbound and she has me craving Reed and Georgina even more! Her way with words is phenomenal, the power behind this story and the characters is captivating and makes me lose myself into the story but that is to be expected when it's a Lauren Rowe story.
I am HOOKED. I can't get enough. I need book three YESTERDAY! Gah!

5+ explosive stars for Beautiful Liar!!
I’ve been waiting for this powder keg to blow, and did it ever! Hold on to your hats folks, I have a feeling that the biggest kaboom is yet to come in book three!!
Lauren Rowe has somehow upped another level on her own craft, and became freakin Yoda with these books! Best. Work. Yet. Hands down. Reed Rivers is so much more than I could have ever imagined him to be. He’s a cocky bastard in the most delicious way. I love the scorching details that Lauren uses to write his scenes..Reed & Georgie’s scenes. Together they form a neutron star collision that keeps on colliding!

OH MY GOODNESS. THIS BOOK. THESE CHARACTERS. THIS EVIL, BRILLIANT AUTHOR.
My thoughts are a jumbled mess right now, but I'm going to attempt to put them in order because BLOODY HELL, this book is fantastic!!
I started this book around 11:30 at night, fully intending to read just a few chapters before bed .. And I should have known better, because from the very first page I was done for. I needed to read and know everything about Reed and Georgie's relationship. And remember when I said that this trilogy would be the best books that Lauren has ever written? Well slap me with all the sexual tension because DAAAMMMNNN. If you thought book one was fire, you ain't seen nothing yet. There is this one scene (and ladies, you will KNOW when you get to it) that had me damn near waking my husband out of a deep sleep.. It's that freaking hot. My kindle about burst in flames, and I wouldn't have even been mad if it did. It's that good.
And don't even get me started on the emotions this book conveys. We got a sneak peak of the man behind the Midas Touch in "Bad Liar", but here we see an all new side to Reed thanks to our main girl Georgie, and I NEED more.
I can't say much about the actual plot because pretty much everything is a spoiler, but know that you will need wine (or tequlia) you'll laugh until your sides hurt, and you'll cry and feel the heart-aches our beloved characters do. Trust me when I say that you need to one click these bad boys up ASAP, because not only are these Lauren's best books to date, but they are also the best books I've ever read.

Lauren you have done it. Literally done it. Bad Liar was such an uphill game of sexual tension and it EXPLODED in Beautiful Liar. It is an understatement to say that you delivered the hottest scenes you’ve ever written and Reed was the man to write them for, my expectations were exceeded. Goosebumps have still not gone away.
Reed and Georgina blossom into something so beautiful that the title couldn’t have possibly been anything else than what it is. These two aren’t just pure fire, they are pure universe given soulmates. The perfect pair. She feeds Reeds warm soul under his IDGAF exterior and we see him more real with himself than we have seen in ANY of the previous books he’s been in. Obviously that is to be expected in his own series but wow, those layers are peeling and I’m even more in love with him now then I’ve been since meeting him in Josh and Kat’s trilogy.
That being said, that man does not know how to get out of his own way! But that is another reason I believe this book is such a hit, Reed will always be Reed. There is no twisting his character into something different to please anyone because he never would. Georgie holds him to the highest standards and it’s extremely refreshing to see such a younger character hold her worth in an age gap troupe. This is an official Lauren Rowe masterpiece.

Reed, Reed, Reed! What am I going to do with you? Omg! This book!! Reed and Georgie together are smoking hot, sexy, explosive! Reed has met his match in Georgie! I can’t get enough of them! Beautiful Liar is brilliantly written and sucked me in from the start. It grabbed a hold of me and wouldn’t let me go. Lauren Rowe knows how to tell a story that captivates her readers. This book is EVERYTHING! This series is EVERYTHING! A top read of 2020.

I love me some Reed Rivers! Beautiful Liar is the second book in this trilogy and as much as I love Reed and Georgie, it’s such a treat to get so much of all the other Lauren Rowe characters I love. This one was angsty and steamy, and left me craving so much more! I can’t wait to get to the final book in this trilogy.

I. cannot. wait. for. Fish. and. Ally's. book. I just know I'm going to love her and Fish will be a sweet little cinnamon roll of a hero I'm so excited. Lauren Rowe keeps impressing me. I think that these trilogies that she writes should just be viewed as one complete story so it feels a little dumb to be reviewing each and every one in the series. Every Lauren Rowe has been either a 4 or 5 stars for me. I'm getting close to finishing her backlist!!

Book 2 in the Reed Rivers trilogy is a doozie with a capital oozie!!!! Lauren Rowe has really done it! This series is going to be the death of me, my emotions are all over the place and my heart is about to melt, incinerate, explode and be left with a pile of goo. The chemistry between Georgie and Reed is out of this world and they are fire when they are together no matter the situation. I need book 3 Beloved Liar like I need air to breathe.

Don’t judge me but I read this in one sitting, like I literally started when I went to bed and I didn’t put it down until I finished.
It was worth the sleepless night, well I think I slept 4 hrs and it’s the weekend so I’m good to go.
I love Georgia, she is a ball of energy and so very curious about everything, she is a very clever girl 😉.
Some conversations she has with Reed that involve pop culture are so funny, poor Reed may notice the age gap in those moments
Some very steamy scenes guys so get ready, I’m serious 😁

5 Blazing Stars!
Beautiful Liar continues the delicious story of Reed Rivers and Georgina Ricci.
I’m sitting here with my heart POUNDING! This book still has me feeling all the things.
If I thought the last book was pure fire then this one was a blazing INFERNO! Oh my! The sexiest book I’ve read in a while.
I’m fully on aboard the Reed and Georgie train and I don’t wanna get off.
The story picks up right where the last one ended and things just keep getting more and more interesting.
These pages are so rich with emotions. It’s a strange mix of soul-baring honesty and then all the intrigue of wanting to get to the truth behind the lies right along with them. It’s a story only a talented writer can bring to life, and Ms. Rowe does that and takes it a step further.
Reed wants to hold on to all his defenses, but he soon realizes he can’t resist Georgie’s warmth and how she’s already gotten into his closely guarded heart. And Georgie is just as equally swept away by the charming Mr. Rivers.
I love a story that makes you think; one that isn’t easy to figure out. One where the characters aren’t perfect. Reed and Georgie are far from perfect but they get each other on a deeper level and it’s the most amazing thing to see it all unfold.
Now, of course there is a cliffhanger at the end. I don’t want to think about it because it’ll just drive me mad. But I know it’ll be worth it once book 3 is on my kindle. Wow! This is shaping up to be one of the best trilogies I’ve read in a long time. I’m so pumped for Beloved Liar.

Now, of course there is a cliffhanger at the end. I don’t want to think about it because it’ll just drive me mad. But I know it’ll be worth it once book 3 is on my kindle. Wow! This is shaping up to be one of the best trilogies I’ve read in a long time. I’m so pumped for Beloved Liar.

Oh my word, I’ve changed my mind about Reed Rivers so many times over the course of this book. We see many more sides to him here and I loved it. His arrogance made me want to shake him, his kindness and vulnerability left me feeling the need to give him a hug and then came some pretty dumb behaviour on his part and I actually started to feel sorry for him. An astute businessman he may be but when it comes to affairs of the heart he’s truly naïve and rather clueless. Those layers are starting to peel and you can feel his confusion. He wants to help but goes about things in the wrong way, too full on, using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. This method may work with other people but not Georgina and he’s going to have to get educated pretty damn quick, or all the money in the world isn’t going to get him what his heart desires.
One thing you can’t fault the man on is his skills when it comes to getting down and dirty. There’s some seriously steamy scenes in this book, I mean so flaming hot I’m still fanning myself thinking about them. Be warned, read in public at your own risk. It was fantastic seeing their emotional relationship evolve and grow too. Not only that but being able to get inside Reed’s head when realisation dawns was just brilliant. You know things are about to change, perhaps feelings are being caught, when a woman can bring a man to his knees, literally and figuratively, simply by being herself.
Georgie just continues to go up in my estimation. I could ramble on and on about her. She’s wonderful. Clever and shrewd she’s more than a match for Mr Rivers. She’s sensitive, thoughtful and slightly broken but is courageous nevertheless. I love her humility, her enthusiasm for life and her willingness to let go and experience everything it has to offer without apology. Most of all, I love that she has the balls to stick up for herself and when the brown stuff hit the fan, stick up for herself she certainly did. You go girl!
This story just gets better and better. Reed and Georgie have now got me firmly in their grip and I don’t want them to let go. I’m desperate to find out where they and the very talented Ms Rowe are going to take us next.

Holy hell it just keeps getting better and better. I was left wanting and needing more after finishing Bad Liar and I was not in the least disappointed. This book hangover is real and I’m aching for more Reed and Georgina, ASAP!
Georgina surpassed everything I felt for her in book one. I don’t know how, but she became even more feistier, sassier and smarter. And in this book we get to know Georgie inside and out. She’s so much more than what she appears to be. Georgie is vulnerable, kind, and sensitive all while still being the badass that she is. Honestly, Reed most definitely doesn’t stand a chance with her.

He’s still cocky, but under the mask he wears there’s sweetness to him and it left me swooning nonstop. The man with the Midas Touch is used to getting what he wants, when he wants it, but Georgie is going to have him rethinking everything he does. And if Reed wants Georgie, he’s going to have to get out of his own way before he loses his shot at true happiness.
Reed and Georgie are so hot together. They have such explosive chemistry and undeniable passion. These two are combustible and when they’re together—holy hotness. I’m obsessed with these two and my greedy a** needs more of them.

Beautiful Liar, the second book of this series, gets all the stars in this galaxy and next from me and I am not being generous. I’m being totally truthful when I say this book lived up to all of the hype and is a must read. Page after page, Lauren pulls you into the story of Reed Rivers, music executive extraordinaire, and the young woman who has caught his eye and is making him crazy!
Georgina Ricci is so smart and passionate, clever and ruthless, kind and appreciative. A recent journalism grad trying to prove her chops, Georgina pulls no punches when doing research for a story for her first big break, a profile on none other than the man she can’t stop obsessing over, the CEO of River Records.
Reed doesn’t know what hit him in this beautiful fireball he has come to know and desire. She’s the first person to challenge him and not think he walks on water, and he finds himself trying to please her. The writing is brilliant and so on point. There is page after page of zingers, witty banter, and tender moments when they both begin to let down their guard and trust each other.
Half of this book centers on a party River Records is hosting at Reed’s personal home and all the stars come out! This book is a total stand-alone, but I loved, loved, loved seeing characters from Lauren’s previous books attend the party and interact with Georgina. Her brain is magnificent and her thinking process diabolical! I love how she works things out in her head as she puts clues together for her investigative story. Reed can’t keep up and it’s comical watching him try. He is so intrigued by her and she literally knocks him off his game.
She’s nobody’s fool and I love how strong she is, even when hurt and totally decimated. I love her relationship with her younger step-sister and how she acknowledges when she is wrong. Reed is someone who is often misunderstood. He does acts of kindness just because he can and tries to keep his big giant heart hidden. Even though he has the power to make or break an artist, he covertly does random acts of kindness and Georgina is seeing there is more to the man than he lets the world see.
Lauren Rowe writes the most heart-pounding, tension building, descriptive sexy scenes, and their chemistry is super HOT! The way she teases and flirts with him should be included in a “How to Get a Man” book because she is just mesmerizing. She captivates Reed and the way he organically reacts to her is explosive. These two are on FIRE! But it’s more than just lust and sexual attraction, Reed and Georgina are connecting on a deeper level and dare I say, falling in love?
This book ends on a cliffhanger as these two get into a major tiff, and I have no idea what to expect from book three except it better well have a happy ending! I wish Henny (Reed's friend and computer hacker) was real because I’d hire him to give me book three tonight!

Woah... So I thought Bad Liar (book one) was amazing, well the best was yet to come. I didn't know it was possible but Lauren just topped book one and delivered and an exceptional continuation to Bad Liar and gave us Beautiful Liar. It was even more intense, all-consuming and addictive as book one. Book one we meet Reed and Georgina and see the start of their connection/relationship. Book two shows us so much more.
Reed never thought he'd fall for or need a woman like he has fallen and needs for Georgina. When she isn't with him, his body, mind, and soul crave this woman like he's never craved a thing before in his life.
But there is so much more to book two as well, but I am not about to ruin it for ANYONE, I believe people need to go into this trilogy as blind as possible, and not look at spoiler reviews! I know I am thankful I did because it's so much more intense not knowing what to expect!
Once again, Lauren Rowe raises the bar high and leaves me in complete awe, utterly spellbound and she has me craving Reed and Georgina even more! Her way with words is phenomenal, the power behind this story and the characters is captivating and makes me lose myself into the story but that is to be expected when it's a Lauren Rowe story.

The witty and sparkling chemistry continues between our favourite duo. When I say sparkling chemistry, when these two "work out" shall we say it more a full blown dynamite explosion🥵🔥🔥
I now have a sudden urge for a new mirror in my bedroom 🤔😂
"My house is big, but it’s not big enough to contain Georgina Ricci’s screams of ecstasy.”
And Reed is as obnoxiously arrogant as usual
“Look, if I come off as condescending or arrogant at times, it’s only because... I am.”
God love him!
As Georgina uses her natural skill as an interviewer, we do learn that Reed and her are two very vulnerable people deep down. Despite both having a fiery, confident persona on the outside, they both have had it tough in their past.
Reed, bless him, he's just so loveable and he really tries so hard to add that "Midas touch" help the people he likes, but the odd white lies are just not gonna help lol
Lauren has done it again, her writing is just top notch and I can't wait for book 3.....after that ending it can't come soon enough!

My review is a day late after finishing cause I had to run out to get some soothing burn cream for my fingers since each page turn of this book is pure FIRE!!! Oh my goodness!!! The passion of Reed Rivers is off the freakin wall!!! Him and Georgie are just .... they are the Kings of Leon song, This Sex is on Fire ... they are the steamiest, most passionate couple you will read in 2020!

Reed has walls up like no other, little does he know Georgie does too cause of her past, and they both start to explore each other physically and mentally. Which, you know, will only lead to an explosion, of what degree, well, you're just going to have to read the book and find out for yourself. Cliffhanger??? Oh yeah, this book has one ... good lawd I can't wait for Beloved Liar!!
Ohh, ohh, and if you're an OG reader of Lauren's, then you'll LOVE LOVE LOVE reading parts of her other beloved characters in this book too, as they pop up!

I am about to go Left Eye Lopez on Lauren Rowe, making me wait for book three. The last few chapters had me absolutely dying as I was listening, covering my eyes , audibly saying, "NOOOOOOO."
I absolutely fell in love with Reed and Georgina during this book. I liked them in book one, but I didn't feel like we really knew them. In this book, we really got to know more about them as they got to know about each other, and I truly fell in love with them as people and a couple. I love Georgina's fire and her spirit. Reed Rivers is HOOTTT, like Rowe's hottest hero EVER. I live for him, and what really makes him hot is that his focus is making her feel good. What I really love, though, is that he ruins himself with her in the process. They are just straight fire.
This story, though. The liar wasn't who I expected. The ending had me dying in shock and heartbreak. I cannot wait to see how it is all resolved, who makes the grand gesture, and how the happily ever after is going to be crafted.
Needless to say I love all things about this trilogy. It is so different from her other books, and I have enjoyed seeing a different side to Lauren Rowe. What isn't different is the stellar writing and phenomenal stories.

If you thought Bad Liar blew your mind away or slayed your soul. Think again. Beautiful Liar will do that and more. Reed and Georgina’s journey gets better and better. I’m not saying Reed doesn’t screw up. I mean Reed is Reed. He’s an A hole who doesn’t do relationships and does not know how to sugar coat things. Honesty is the best policy right? The man just doesn’t know how to not sabotage himself. Can you blame him? His past has made him be who he is, but Georgie has done what other females haven’t. She’s been able to peel off those layers he has, little by little making him do things and feel things he’s never experienced before hence the screw ups.
Lucky for him even though he’s managed to piss Georgina off, a few times I might add, she is a woman on a mission, actually a few missions. Once she gets her mind set on doing something, she will do it. Get out of her way!
As we get to know Georgina more, there’s no doubt in my mind she is perfect for Reed. She is in my opinion the best female character Lauren has created. She is truly an example to all females. Her character is one to admire for sure. She continues to show us where her heart is, how loyal she is to those she loves. She is smart, witty, knows what she wants, and can pitch Reed some great come backs I absolutely love, making him fall for her even more.

The saga continues in Beautiful Liar, the 2nd installment in this author’s spellbinding The Reed Rivers Trilogy, and it is most certainly a spectacular read! I was so immersed in the story and so enchanted by Reed and Georgie that I quickly lost track of time and before I knew it, I had devoured this book in one sitting. This author is a master at crafting an engaging story that draws the reader in all while creating characters that are many layered, well developed, and endearing.
This book picks up right where Bad Liar left off and the little lies and half truths are starting to accumulate. Reed, for all of his success and arrogance, possesses a touch of vulnerability about him which I adored. Georgina remains a spitfire so full of spunk and sass that it is no wonder this infamous music mogul becomes addicted to her. With these two together, it is near impossible to douse the red hot flames sparked by their intense chemistry. I am going to end this here as I don’t want to spoil anything, but just know that if you enjoyed the previous book, you will love Beautiful Liar!
