In my first book, “This Road Must Go Somewhere”, I tried to move forward by actively, physically moving forward. Rather than mentally rebuilding, I was forcing myself to rebuild on new foundation with each trip I took. While I learned so much in each of these trips, and while I would never take this experience back, I now find myself looking into the shadowy thoughts I had last year, grateful that I can look back on these times with different lighting. With a much more stable base, I am now able to acknowledge this time in my life while still moving forward with intent. To shed light on this mental journey, I’ve written a follow-up. This is that follow-up.
Becky talks about her experience and growth in a honest and raw way. I always feel more connected to humanity after reading her work because she puts the complexity of her humanity into her words.
Moving Forward is an enlightening read! Becky isn’t a doctor, but her example, experiences and insights are very therapeutic! This book is well worth reading! The advice and wisdom is good for all problems big and small and most especially for healthy relationships. I recommend both her books, This Road Must Go Somewhere and Moving On very highly.
