A talented pilot. A determined reporter. A crash of wills and a spark of flame.
Saving the lives of all the passengers on that plane was just doing my job.
I don’t need or want to be thrust into the limelight as some hero.
Yet, when tenacious reporter Penny Green starts hounding me for the story, instead of finding it annoying, our verbal sparring feels more like foreplay.
My offer to help her isn’t completely selfless—it’s a chance to get her alone and act on the simmering tension between us.
But when fate strikes again and the actions of my past come back to bite me, I’m not the only one caught in the undertow.
Can I save myself and protect Penny from those determined to drag me under?

ONE EXTREMELY INTENSE TREAT!!!
Spectacular! Nova blazes through this bad boy like a raging inferno. Beautiful and intense, delivering this block busting bombshell with all the chills and spills that guarantee delectable satisfaction to boost exhilaration. When it comes to bad boys our hunk is one protective, possessive, alpha, ass kicking god that curls your toes in the best of ways. The back and forth banter thrusts this bad boy into the eye of the storm, blasting it into a tailspin with an astonishing culmination. Traversing the trials and tribulations along with a bevy of stunning twists and shocking turns, tests our characters in ways they could have never anticipated. A spinning vortex of unintentional events and unbelievable circumstances, catapults your swirling emotions into play front and center. Non-stop, action packed, hard hitting, page flipping, adrenaline rush that keeps you riveted on a razors edge. The drama, intrigue, distress, uncertainty and soaring suspense, make for one exciting experience. Add turmoil, determination, undercurrents and unexpected situations along with a boatload of dangerous Intentions, you have one mind-blowing adventure. The attraction and chemistry sizzles from the pages alluring and mesmerizing, until you feel the electrifying hum running rampant, through your veins. The characters are authentic and genuine with depth and qualities that blend into amazing personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and colorful descriptions so rich and lively, they blend and flow smoothly. Remarkable job Nova, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

Sorry but everything was way to rush that I couldn’t even get a feel for the characters. Plus there wasn’t any chemistry between the FMC and MMC..

Penny is a reporter and when something goes wrong on her plane she thinks its the pilots fault. Jake is the pilot that ended up saving all the passengers including Penny on that flight. Sparks fly between them when he tries to pick her up. She ends up getting him as her guide for her story because she said she'd do a story on the incident on the plane. Things heat up between them as they work on her story. Will Jake finally get Penny to see that he isn't a bad guy?

This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot this is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Jake, a pilot for United airlines, and Penny, a reporter, meet and fall in love. At first, they had issues with each other that kept them from getting together. Jake flights from New York to New Orleans in a tropical storm. Both engines fail and he has to land in a marsh. The airline and the engine manufacture try to make it look like Jake could have made it to an airport. A very good story line that is very enjoyable to read.

I enjoyed this book for the most part. It kind of ruined it for a bit when she didn't see what was right in front of her and it took him dying for her to figure it out. I also felt the readers should have been privy to the secret going on with that. Overall it was a good read.

I have mixed feelings about this book! I enjoyed reading it and can't wait for the next book by this author but there were parts of the book I had a great deal of trouble reconciling as a believable part of the story. I won't reveal what those parts are so that you can decide for yourself but for the most part I truly enjoyed Jake and Penny's story and the "love/hate" part of their relationship. Everyone needs a hero as well as an antagonist and Jake proved to be the ultimate hero to Penny's initial antagonistic behavior. This story definitely follows their bumpy ride in the sometimes less than "friendly skies".

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.

Unfortunately it took me days to finish this because I couldn’t get in to it.

They meet during a flight. There’s a faux pas during flight and they wind up at the same hotel. Our h thinks H is an egotistical playboy and H thinks h is fiery and playing hard to get. There are a couple twists in the book that I did enjoy though. Some parts of the book is exactly like the movie ‘Sully’.
I do wish there was more banter and dialogue between the two though. The book is filled with way too much thought process. I also have an issue with hs attitude and how she treats H.

There are some grammatical errors and it’s unclear on how many years the H has actually been a pilot. First it says 9, then 10, then 11. I reached out to the author for clarification and never got a response back.
