An Alien Abduction Romance Series

Calen

I live in a fairy tale.
But this is a dark fairy tale.
Abducted and sold to the Latrusian Prince of North Orangh, I go from a life of peace on a farm to a life of depravity, darkness, and fear in a castle full of wicked aliens.
My freedom, security, and control over my own body have been taken from me.
I want to go home. That's all I want in life--to get away from these horrifying aliens and go home.
I am close to giving up.

But then...
I meet him.
The cyborg.
He is the castle's protection, the queen's desire, the king's son.
And he is going to be my savior.

Zikkan

When I return to the castle after a long, vicious time away defending the kingdom's borders, I have no light in my heart. I have plans, though. I will leave this castle, this territory, this world. This evil.
My ship is being outfitted and repaired, I am stockpiling resources and funds and quietly assessing and choosing a crew, and I know exactly where I want to go and what I want to do when I get there.

But plans can go awry.

I am mesmerized by a captive human girl, and when I see the prince abusing her, I do what I do best.
Beating the prince nearly to death is frowned upon.
I do it anyway.
Now I have to figure out how to get the girl to safety when I am chained in a dungeon.
And how to convince her to stay with me when I succeed.

Dark alien abduction PNR- highly recommend for anyone who likes this genre

Written for mature readers only (18+ years old) due to subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy intimate scenes and violence such as abduction / kidnapping, human trafficking, fighting with some to the death, mental and physical torture, betrayal, attempted rape, rape, assault, etc.

This is the second story in the series. This could be read as a stand-alone although I highly recommend it be read in series order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers as there are reoccurring characters toward the end and an overall storyline arc.

There are a few grammatical errors but nothing too egregious that would warrant a lower rating. If anyone is sensitive to overt sexual cruelty or incestuous displays, then this is not the story for you. In this story it is used to show that people can mentally survive anything, while still being open to love, without becoming cruel.

This story is about an abducted human, Calen, that was bought at an auction and shuttled to a spoiled sadistic prince who abused, tortured, and shared her with his cruel friends. The Queen and King, the prince’s parents, are definitely one of a kind, thank goodness.

The King’s illegitimate son, Zikkan, has been made into a cyborg to save his life after an attack when he was young. Maybe because he wasn’t raised in the castle his entire life, he has been able to escape the cruelty and need to torture others. He doesn’t hide his contempt of his step mother, the Queen, when he goes to report about his latest defense and rescue of others when they were attacked by raiders.

While there, the prince brags about his latest illegal female human. When he has her brought to the him in the throne room, Zikkan feels an immediate connection. Calen is defiant with the prince and knows that is one of the reasons she is still alive. Unfortunately for her, she also feels something happen when she sees the cyborg for the first time and cannot resist murmuring something that will change everything ...

Can you go home again?

As much as Rowena was afraid, Calen is not. She's got fire in her blood. As with book 1, the author doesn't shy away from bad things happening to our heroine, she just doesn't put them on the page. Set in the same world as book 1, this has a minor royal family, and they are very depraved. Zikkan is the illegitimate son of the current king, and part of the family, sort of, despite being a cyborg. My disappointment with the book lies towards the end, and while it's sort of skimmed over, I felt like the Calen's reaction once she returned to Earth was a bit like Katniss in the Hunger Games: not realistic for the strong character we've seen develop... not saying PTSD doesn't happen to either, but just felt the manifestation of it was a little phoned in on both.

Overall, good story.

Dark romance

This series is not for the faint of heart. This and the previous book has human women and others that are abused, violence, etc that can be triggers.
But the overcoming and survival cores are built into the main characters. Enjoyed the quirky parts.
While not realistic and parts missing, I still liked this book. I loved her family and her new alien friends.
Would have loved an epilogue where maybe he goes back as prince and changes the country for the better. Where she can have her farm, etc. Or if the Emperor was hunting them, they settle on a rural like farm, etc that sends food off planet.

Sexy, protective cyborg

Jude Gray delivers an excellent sequel with Saving the Cyborg. I recommend buying this book. The message of hope, strength and redemption helped drive the piece, along with some much-deserved vengeance. The villains were suitably heinous. Gray’s cyborg is hot and spicy and I wanted to take him home with me. I loved the heroine’s unbroken spirit. The work the couple put into their relationship made this book stand apart. Wonderful read, I’m eagerly anticipating the next in the series. I’m hooked on Jude Gray’s books. I predict that any reader, especially a fan of science-fiction romance, would enjoy the Saving the Cyborg journey.

Calen and Zikkan, human and cyborg taboo...

I gave this book #2 5 cups of steaming java, ☕☕☕☕☕. This started like it would be a standalone type of story but I was gladly see toward the end of the book there was mention of the emperor a few times from book 1 as well as mention of Raiden and Rowena.

This was easy fast read with some angst and lot of action. Depravity was evident but did not change Calen as she would always go inside of her head to avoid the depravity as much as she could, kept her spirit strong. Cyborg tries to save her few times until end he finally finds her and saves her forever.

A darkly action-packed adventure, so much of this story centered on the cruelty of a few, but that cruelty dominated and fueled the story. They certainly had an oppressive force to overcome! Calen was abused by Joff, and other people, but then later says she'd only had sex with two other people before her cyborg, but all before had alluded to her abuse while a captive of the court. That inconsistency threw me, but the rest of the book was well told. It took a long time for Calen to get with her cyborg, and that was cool. It was an interesting read, and easy to follow.

A light but enjoyable read

This story lacked the depth and emotions of the first book in the series, but the characters were strong and with integrity. Both characters have been through so much. Though I am not minimising or making little of what Galen has been through, Zikken has had a life time of abuse - that is why he is a cyborg. His family is depraved in the very worst way and do get what they deserve. Why three stars? It lacks the detail that totally convinces me of their feelings. Lots of telling not enough showing. But a light and entertaining read!

Another entertaining read in the series, but like the last one, I wish this were more fleshed out and detailed. Especially with the ending, this story could have used that treatment. I just want...more. More world building, more character development and arcs, more room for relationships to grow! So this is good. It was a nice way to spend an evening while I was knitting. And I'll keep hoping that soon the Emperor and his human woman Thing will be fleshed out. Which "one" is he looking for?

Abuse alert!

Good love story. The Prince and Queen are definitely off their rocker. Abuse of the first class going on here. All is well in the end. Calen and Zikkan do go through the wringer in this book. Just one point in the book I got "lost" . Then there was the emperor who is described as old, and at the end said he was immortal. What's his problem with humans Jude doesn't say. All in all a good book.

Cruelty and fear

This is an alien induction story into slavery. The heroine is bought as a play thing for a evil prince. His half brother is a cyborg and when they see each other for the first time they both know there is a connection . However she belongs to the evil brother and his aim is to destroy her soul. His parents are equally as evil and reign by cruelty and fear. Dark read but good.

Captivating and Wonderful

What a ride of emotions with so many twists and turns in this story but love every moment of it? A love that brings two fated mates together with everything that wants them apart. It's non-stop action with awesome characters, and definitely a must buy.

I recommend this book...4-8-2021

Wow, what a crazy bunch of characters in this book! A little dark but still well written. So, the point of this series so far is, if you are going to be abducted by aliens, hope it is a good cyborg! On to book three!

Great Book

Why Amazon insist on 20 words for a review via kindle, I don't know. Especially when I just want to say that I really enjoyed this book.

All is not lost

Wonder who is saving whom. Some perverted beings should be done away with that's for sure. The near end was different and exciting.

Reading enjoyment

This is the second Cyborg book I have read written by you. I could not put either one down until I had finished reading each one. Am now looking for another one. I enjoyed reading them the pleasure they gave me is too hard for me to explain. Just know that your book was fantastic. If I could explain it better I would be a writer. Thank you.
