The year is 1957. Lacey Casket is struggling to keep her uncle’s ailing bed and breakfast on life support when a mission to the local grocery store reveals something in the freezer. Something that will jolt the sleepy town of Dark Haven, Maine wide awake. Something that will make Lacey confront her deepest, darkest, and most latent fears. Together, she and Slate must thaw the mystery of the twice-cold corpse. Or else end up in a deep chill themselves.

I write wild cozy mysteries with lots of twists and quirky characters. In real life, I’m just a lowly public school teacher, but some of my best friends are medical examiners, high-ranking military officials, intelligence officers, and comedians (not necessarily in that order ;) Put together, their expertise helps me write pulse-pounding mysteries with humor and authenticity.
