Finding London (Flawed Hearts Series #1) by Ellie Wade
4.5 stars!!!

“Fate is a fucking lie, and destiny is its bitch-ass cousin.”

Ellie Wade is one of those increasingly unique authors who deliver the story that her character’s demand rather than what the reader wants and for this I have always applauded her. I know that when I dive into an Ellie Wade book, it will be emotional, it will be angsty, it will be intense, it may not be what I want but I will love it anyway because she always makes me understand. Finding London may not be as emotionally draining as her previous books but this book was addictive, I fell in love with these characters and I didn’t want their story to end. While this is the first book in this series, the second should be out relatively quickly so not too long to wait either.

“This” – I wave my finger between us – “Will end badly. You should know, I always end up losing everything I love.”

London Wright was an extremely hard character to like in the first instance, she is extremely spoilt, very “I deserve everything and more” and “what I want I get.” London is young, she has some growing up to do and her growth and development is what, for me really made her character in this book. London goes from strength to strength throughout this story, it is amazing what falling in love can do to a person. Loic made her want to be a better person.

“Here I stand, on the corner of Independence and Desire. The problem is that Desire is littered with lots of trash that I call desperation while Independence is covered in regret.”

Loic was a bit of an enigma in the beginning, he kept himself to himself and his emotions and thoughts well and truly guarded. But it seems Loic has met his match in the form of London. Usually able to keep the opposite sex out of his mind but easily in his bed Loic seems to have found the chink in his armour, London has rocked him and he doesn’t know what to do about it.

“From the start, something about him called to me. It was as if I could feel his pain, read his heart, and appreciate his struggles.”

Loic has had a tough life and has a lot of insecurities, none of which I could blame him for. He has serious abandonment issues and has a lot of grief and guilt festering inside him, none of which he was responsible for. Loic was a selfless person though, he put his friends before himself and would do anything for anyone. Loic was in the army and because of his past and his job he just didn’t do relationships, London made him want to, his heart told him to, but his head said not to…which one would win?

“Maybe, where you have holes, I can fill you with my strength, and where I am ripped wide open, you can mend me.”

While this book is a romance, it was also a journey for both characters. As I said in the beginning, London grew from a spoilt brat to a woman in love who would fight tooth and nail for the love of her man. Loic though grew the most. Having shut off his emotions for most of his life it was hard for him to open up to anybody, but London made him want to try. He wanted to be a better man, he wanted to deserve her and most importantly he wanted to love her. My heart broke for Loic so many times, from his childhood, to his teenage years and then finally to a man whose heart was so broken it was seemingly irreparable. Loic had to fight the hardest and it was his fight that brought tears to my eyes on so many occasions.

“These words are my sanity. They make me feel less alone when I am so very lonely.”

While the course of true love never runs smooth, these two have a lot to learn, but mostly they needed to learn to do it together. While both of them are pretty insecure and far from experienced in the world of dating, they try and they try hard. I believed in them, I wanted them to make it, they loved each other, they deserved each other and they brought out the best in each other…will they see this and most importantly will they try hard enough.

“One person can only lose so much before he starts to realize that he’s not strong enough to lose any more.”

These two have a lot to overcome and I cannot wait to see what journey Ellie Wade has in store for Loic and London. I adored the London meaning behind this story, so clever, genius in fact and made their connection all the more special. I adored this couple and I cannot wait to read more.

“No one is coming. No one is going to save me. Love is a joke, and London’s a lie.”

I was hooked from page one and didn't want to put this book down. I was rooting for Loic and London to figure it out and get their happily ever after. I love how opposite they are but how they're perfect together. The whole other cast of characters is great as well (Cooper, Maggie, and Paige). I'm really excited for the next book to see how Loic and London handle everything. If you haven't picked up this book yet I strongly urge you to do so. It was fantastic and YES it's a series but it's not a cliffhanger--but I do promise you that you'll be as eager for book 2 as I am.

I received the book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book cover is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately, I didn’t fell the same about the story. Lately, I have been reading a lot of NA romance books, which has defiantly made me raise the bar when it comes to rating these types of books and this one fell short. I constantly found myself becoming bored and not connecting with the characters or romance. I actually ended up skimming the last half of the book, but didn’t feel like I missed out on anything because the story felt very superficial.

I thought the writing was average, but there were quite a few sentences that stood out for being written beautifully. I had high expectations for this book when I began reading because it seemed deep and interesting, but soon I became bored with the plot. It seemed like nothing actually happened in the book. The internal thoughts of the characters were extremely repetitive…rehashing the same problem over and over and over again. I will say that there was a pretty surprising plot twist near the end of the book that did peak my interest, but overall, I thought the story line was easily forgettable.

I really did not like the characters from this book. I absolutely did not like London. She was not relatable and had absolutely no character growth. I wish that there would have been more of a back story on London to make her feel more dimensional, instead of a cardboard cutout from a typical NA novel. I also was not impressed with the side characters. Instead of driving the plot forward, it felt like they were just thrown in the story. I do have to say that I did enjoy Loïc. I really enjoyed reading the chapters that were from Loïc’s past. It made him feel more dynamic and helped explain his actions to the reader.

I might have forgiven some of the character flaws, but it was the romance that really made me dislike this book. The romance felt very generic and superficial. I did not feel any connection between London and Loïc. It felt like their romance bloomed out of nothing and I am not fond of insta-love. I am somewhat intrigued about where the second book's plot is going to go with the way things left off, but it is not enough to push me to pick it up.

Overall, I did not enjoy this book, however, it does seem to have goo reviews on Goodreads. I do not plan on picking up the second book in this series, but may see if there are other books from Wade that I may like.

ARC kindly provided by Barclay Publicity via Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

This is the story of Loïc and London, two hearts full of flaws!

I totally loved this book! The writing was superb being equally funny and serious in the right places! The plot was moving in such a nice pace without leaving any gaps or rushing forward! The story touched me so much as it dealt with every emotion that someone has when he falls in love (doubt, excitement, attraction, insecurity), with every emotion I had when I fell in love! The book is written by a dual POV and it's nicely done. There are flash backs related to the childhood of Loïc but they were needed to understand everything that was happening!

London is such a fun heroine! She is spoiled and she knows it but she puts dignity and pride in her actions and I really liked her for it! She is scared but she doesn't run and hide! She is actually amazing!

Loïc is a great guy! He is hurt on so many different levels but he is a survivor! He is also honest and direct! He has a beautiful heart full of care and love reserved only for few special people in his life! He has walls around him but once you are in his heart, you will stay there forever! I totally like him too!

Their relationship is intense and honest! They felt like two halves that together they made a whole! I really liked how they started their relationship and then developed it! It was so beautiful to read!

The end of the book was a bit weird for me. The last few chapters felt like the dark sky before a very big storm! I was prepared for a huge cliff hanger that would leave me upset and anxious for the next book. Unfortunately this didn't happen. Nevertheless I still look forward to reading the next book as I need to know what happens next!

I definitely recommend this book to everyone for loves a NA full of love!

This is my first book by Ellie Wade, but it most certainly will not be my last. I absolutely adored London and Loïc’s story, and cannot wait for more!

“I don’t do relationships. I never have, and I’m not sure I ever will. It’s just not me.”

This is Loïc’s life. He has been dealt a rough hand throughout childhood and, after so many heartbreaks, he refuses to have any more. So, he doesn’t let anybody in—besides his two good friends Cooper and Maggie, who I LOVED! I really liked how the story went back and forth from the present to Loïc’s past, even if it was hard to read at times.

Then he meets London…

“I don’t have proof to back up this theory, but staring into the eyes of London, I simply know. She isn’t someone that I can come back from.”

He tries ridiculously hard to keep London away. But London refuses to give up. She has never been rejected and it is not sitting well with her. And then fate or something else steps in for them.

“I’m not sure what, but something – fate, destiny, the cosmos, or an all-knowing sparkly unicorn – wants us to know each other. In what capacity, I’m not sure.”

And after three meetings in two weeks, the two finally give in to their attraction and attempt a date. I enjoyed how opposite the two are from each other. London is the spoiled rich girl used to getting what she wants, while Loïc enjoys the outdoors and works hard for everything he is. They complement each other perfectly.

I loved the witty banter between London and Loïc. I couldn’t get enough of the two of them finding their flaws, and loving one another despite them. I loved the secondary characters as well, particularly Paige and her lovely “advice.” It was such a feel good story, and I seriously can’t wait for the rest of it. Please don’t make me wait too long for book two!!! ~ Tiffany, 4 stars

*4.5 stars* In case you haven't heard I've been in the biggest reading slump ever. I was sent this book by the publisher, but pushed it aside because I didn't feel like reading. I couldn't be more happy I picked his up on a whim. I binge read the whole book. I stayed up until 1 am to finish it. Overall it was amazing, but there were a few things that initially rubbed me the wrong way. The one main thing that stuck out was London's incessant pursuit of Loic, although cheesy and romantic, if the roles were reversed and a man was berating a woman for a date it would be incredibly creepy. That doesn't mean this book isn't good, it's fantastic. There are a few cheesy spots, but overall I couldn't put this down. Loved it. I'm grabbing the next book before I fly out for vacation so I can finish that one too!

DO NOT READ IF YOU DONT WANT SPOILERS.
I don't want to get accused on why did I give away the ending because YOU decided read the spoilers.

I won't be rating this book. I did not finish but I skipped all the way to the end.
The H has a childhood friend who he thinks is dead but she's very much alive and she finds him there's a scene where the h thinks that they're more than friends she's jealous because he's spending all his time with this ow he's calling the friend "my Sarah" telling her that she's his angel and cuddling in his bed kissing her forehead and putting her head in his chest. He said that he loves her like family but the way he's cuddling with her in HIS bed and when he's cuddling with her doesn't even remember the GIRLFRIEND. sounds fishy to me and this ow tells him that he's very easy to love it looks to me that next book this woman it's going to be a problem for the h. It kinda ends in a small cliffy the H has to leave for 1 year for the military

One look at this cover and I was in love. I mean, look at how gorgeous it is! Sadly, this book doesn't actually take place in London, but I quickly learned that it was a new adult romance with quite the yummy, and hard-headed, romantic interest for our main character. I was hooked!

London Wright has gotten everything she's ever wanted, especially when it comes to guys. So when she meets Loic Berkley and is instantly attracted to him, she's thrown off when he walks away without any interest. No one says no to London. Determined, London goes after Loic and is shocked at the pain and loss that he's gone through. Is the happiness that London can bring Loic enough to prove to him that not everything he loves will be lost?

From the start, Loic throws up walls and pushes London away. I loved, though, how fate kept on bringing them to together and how persistent London was. While I wasn't a huge fan of how spoiled and entitled she was, I did love London's determination to keep Loic. I was a bit bothered by the fact that London had recently graduated from college and wasn't at all concerned about finding a job. She eventually started applying for jobs and knew she wouldn't have a problem finding one. Seeing as I graduated college a little over a year ago, this was SO ANNOYING considering pretty much every college senior freaks out about finding a job. But that's London's character and a main reason why Loic was so hesitant to even let her in.

When Loic did start to let London in, I thought they were so cute together and loved their dates. We do get some flashbacks of Loic's past and why he was so guarded, which I really enjoyed. And what happened near the end? Ugh! I was definitely invested in Loic and London's relationship at that point and only wanted the best for them. I definitely can't wait to pick up book two and see how Loic and London will continue on in their relationship.

Overall, I definitely enjoyed this book. I was not expecting the emotional roller coaster of Loic's past or the intense chemistry between Loic and London, which ended up being my favorite parts of this book. For a book whose cover is gorgeous, this book definitely lived up to its expectations!

A dual perspective NA Contemporary Romance - this book was sent to be through BookTubeTours! It did not affect my opinions.

Loic is strong, stubborn, and driven.

London is a free spirit, boy crazy, and a undeniable beautiful girl.

Their paths cross time and time again. Loic doesn't want to entertain London's advances, but he can't avoid her the more they run into each other.

Loic's chapters were told in past and present day. I adored that. It showed his growth and how he overcame his adversity. London was a little too clingy, irresponsible, and boy crazy for me.

My overall thoughts were the pacing went well, the writing was surface level, the characters memorable. It wasn't my favorite NA book, but it was a good solid 3 star read for me.

Book Review: 6 “I Spy With My Little Eye…” Stars!!

Perfectly fucked up together until we’re just together.

I still remember how swept away I was when I first saw this book’s perfect cover. I had even seen it in my sleep a time or two. It had my mind literally stuck with it. Since then, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. And finally, a week ago, I finally got the chance to meet the habitats of this amazing book with the great cover which listens to the name Finding London.

Loϊc & London. Two individuals with completely different life styles but with such intertwined destinies that you can’t distinguish where the one ends and the other starts. They always belonged in each other but they hadn’t realized it yet when they had first met. Or, more accurately, London was a bit more closer than Loϊc to finally understand that.

Essentially, I’m reprogramming my entire being into the person I want to be.

Everything started when, while a charity car wash event, London has to was down Loϊc’s monstrous truck. But, she soon forgets all about that when she comes face to face with his deep blue eyes. London, used to getting any guy she wants, is taken by surprise and fills with anger when Loϊc ignores her. Although, soon, she will realize that appearances are deceptive because only indifferent she is not to Loϊc. And after that meeting, it’s only a matter of time for these two to find their way to each other and stay there.

The chemistry and intensity that flows between them is really strong. Both found in each other what they didn’t know they were looking for all their life and they were missing. Loϊc found in London the place where he wanted to go since a little boy and London found in Loϊc the absolute.

“Maybe, where you have holes, I can fill you with my strength, and where I’m ripped wide open, you can mend me.”

I loooooved everything that Ellie Wade did with the characters and the story. The plot was really amazing and super beautiful. It was waving in and out of pain, love, fun, joy, sadness, struggle with grace which captivated me. The characters fit perfectly into it and made it even more amazing. One of the things I loved the most about this book was how much fitting and clever were the names, especially London and Loϊc’s. They were simply brilliant and so unique that I couldn’t not adore them. Witnessing London’s change of character and perspective of the world and the heart changed me. Also, the fact that I got to read the timeline of Loϊc’s life was something that stayed with me and made the story even more beautiful than it already was. The unfolding of each scene and each character had me tied down and there wasn’t a minute in it that I didn’t feel that I was being under the shower of a powerful and amazing love which can hold its ground through time.

“The trick is finding the person whose flaws are compatible with your own.”

Finding London is a book that anyone must read. The recommendation goes without question. And, plus, the guy is a military one so the bar of hotness just rose higher

description

I've been a massive Ellie Wade supporter since I started reading her series, Choices. Needless to say, I was beyond excited to get my hands on Finding London. And then I saw the cover ... le sigh ... it was absolutely gorgeous!! I had high expectations for this one!

First ... the main man of the story ... his name is Loïc. Nothing wrong with the name, I just had no freaking clue as to how to say it! This poor dude was almost called Lo in my head but then Ellie Wade came to the rescue and said within the story how to pronounce it. By the way, it's pronounced LOW-ICK if you're wondering. I can't even explain how much it can detract from a story when you don't know what a character's name is. It's beyond irritating to me. Almost worse than grammar issues.

Anyhow ... I think that the first thing (other than Loïc's name) that really hit me was at the beginning of the story, you're put into the middle of this little flashback with 5-year-old Loïc and his dad. I don't have any clue as to whether Wade has kiddos but this whole exchange between her characters really sounded like conversations we have had with our boys. It was spot-on authentic. Love!

The story is filled with these flashbacks and while they should be helping the reader understand where the characters are coming from and why they are the way that they are, it just didn't read like that to me. I found them annoying the further that I got into the book because it was just distracting. It pulled me from the present time where I wanted to get lost within Loïc and London's story. I just wanted more and more from Lo & Lo but all I kept getting was this inner dialogue and flashbacks. It slowed the story down so very much for me.

I think that I liked Lo & Lo as characters but at the end of the book, I still felt as if I didn't really know them. That's unfortunate. I wanted to love this book. Well, I wanted to love ALL of the book. I did like the chemistry between Lo & Lo but I don't think that there was enough of it within the pages. I just wanted less past junk and more NOW junk.

Finding London didn't ruin this author for me. I'll give her another shot when her next one comes out but I think I'll say goodbye to the Flawed Heart series. Doesn't seem to be for me right now.

I really enjoyed reading Finding London. I also really loved the cover. It’s nice to see a different type of cover for a romance novel. This book, in my opinion, started off super slow. It was slow for be until about 20-30% and I wasn’t even sure if I was going to be able to finish. I’m a reader that hardly ever gives up but this one was pushing it for me. With that being said I’m so glad that I stuck with this one because once I got through that hump I was loving it.
You meet London Wright, a somewhat spoiled rich girl who has just graduated from The University Of Michigan (GO BLUE!) and is deciding what she wants to do in life. She is completing one last activity for her sorority when she runs into Loïc Berkeley. Loïc is an emotional character. He never wanted love. He has been through so much loss in his life that he has built a huge wall around his heart and who he lets into his life. London is super intrigued by Loïc but he gives her the big cold shoulder and London usually gets what she wants. This story then follows their up and down relationship. Can Loïc change and let London in? Can London be the person who tears town Loïc’s walls? You will have to read to find out!
Even though this one started super slow for me it was great in the end. It is book one in a series and I’m not sure how many books there will be but the next book is out in June so there isn’t that long of a wait. I would consider this one in the Romance/New adult category. One thing I can say about Ellie Wade is that she is a very talented writer who can really get your emotions flowing for good or bad. 4 breathtakingly beautiful stars!

Such a beautiful cover, sigh... I wish I liked this book as much as I like the cover.

Let me just start by saying I have no complaints about Ellie Wade's writing. She does it beautifully. But I just couldn't connect with the story or the main characters. So it could be a case of it's me, not you.

London is your typical rich, over entitled, spoiled brat. I usually can appreciate such traits in a character if there's something else about them to make me care. It was not the case with her. Her inner monologue and attempts to become a 'better' person were boring and uninteresting. Which brings me to the main problem with this love story. Besides her beauty, there was nothing there to make me believe a guy like Loic would waste his time with her. I just couldn't buy it.

This is an insta-love kind of story. The main characters meet a few times by 'coincidence' and can't stop obsessing about each other. The author tried to portray they had a meaningful connection, but all I got from their thoughts is how hot they found each other.

Loic was the other end of the spectrum for me. I usually like brooding, damaged heroes, but he was way too Emo for my taste. The fact that he despised the heroine's spoiled ways in other people but thought it was cute on her had me rolling my eyes.

I think I would have appreciated this story more if it had started with an insta-lust kind of situation and evolved slowly into something more meaningful. That I could have believed, plus it would made me anticipate the a-ha moment for the couple.

London Wright has recently graduated from college in Michigan and is trying to figure out what she wants for her future. She is from a wealthy family and is used to getting what she wants. She meets Loic Berkeley and is definitely thrown off her game when he seems not to be impressed by her. Loic is in the military and has a lot of tragedy in his past to get over that leaves him unable to open up to trust people.

I loved the characters in this book and also the humor. Paige, Cooper and Maggie were such great friends to London and Loic. I can't wait to hopefully learn more about them in the next book.

I really enjoyed the dual perspectives especially the ones of Loic's past. I liked that we were slowly getting glimpses of his life I felt it allowed me to get to understand why he wasn't able to trust people.

With London I didn't like her much in the beginning but felt that by the end of the book she definitely started to grow and want different things out of life.

The relationship between London and Loic definitely had ups and downs but I liked how they seemed to balance each other out.

Overall I enjoyed this book and can't wait to find out what happens in book 2.

I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review.

Recensione completa sul blog Love is in the books: https://loveisinthebookblog.blogspot....

I really became emotional about this story. I don't know, maybe it was the whole military aspect. There was something about the characters that I really identified with, something intangible, because my life is not like theirs. I really enjoyed it. I hope you do, too.

When reading books of a series back to back I always have a difficult time writing the reviews separate because in my head it is an ongoing story and it is difficult for me to cut it somewhere when I read it together.

So therefore here are my thoughts on “Finding London” and “Keeping London” by Ellie Wade.

Who came up with that name ? Loïc? That was one of my thoughts … it took me a long time until I found out how to pronounce that – but on the other hand … intriguing and it keeps you thinking.

Those two books where the first I read by this author and I like her authentic writing style. The discussions between the characters are spot on from the beginning of the first book.

The second book only added an emotional edge on top of it.

I admit also that it is (again) difficult for me to give a final vote on a book if it is not a standalone and I could not yet read all of the books in a series, because I am known to be a sucker for good written endings and there were books where the last 20 % killed the whole vote for a book – so just imagine what a whole missing book might do to my opinion.

So I like to leave my vote on the story for the last book.

So far I like the development of the plotline and the characters are well developed. Still some parts feel a little longer than necessary, but that might also be because I am not a fan of “flashbacks”. And the first book especially had a little too much of the past in it.

Somehow it therefore took a long time to really get to know the characters. The second book opens at least for me a new level on the emotional side of the characters. They became deeper and I admit it made me think in some moments.

The author sure seems to know her business around the military because for an outsider like me the stuff she told felt solid and real.

The pace of the story was not constant which made it on one side difficult to get into a reading rhythm for me – but on the other hand you never knew what would happen next so it was also a benefit to the story.

I feel that the second book is slightly better developed character & story wise than the first which totally lets me hope for a big bang in the 3rd book. If it would have been just for the first book I would think about a 3 star read but adding the second I think I would apply a solid 4 stars.

So now lets wait for the last book in that series so I can finalize my opinion …

GOD I hate waiting …but from the looks of it I have reasons to believe that the author will not keep us waiting too long.

So enjoy the story …

Sometimes it is nice to read a book from a new author and see that they can communicate what a real relationship might look like. One with angst that is not off the charts and a love story that starts from one glace and a little healthy "obsession," a crush that you cannot shake. Finding London features two very different characters who should not work, but the beauty in this story is their differences and the way they both mess up and fall down only to get back up again when they realize what is right in front of them. London and Loic are two people who are night and day from each other but the more you learn about them and see who they are, the more convinced you are that they work in a sweet and passionate way.

This book flips POVs and from the past to present. We get to understand the thought processes and the emotions of two very different people. This is vital to the book. It allows the reader to understand what happened to Loic and why he reacts the way he does. He is a man that has seen the cruelty of humanity in so many different forms and the fact that he is alive and able to have such deep friendships with his friends Maggie and Cooper is a miracle. Seeing London’s POV allows the reader to see past the face of a spoiled girl and begin to understand her wants and hopes. When it is all brought together, it gives us a spectrum to watch a love story unfold. It is messy and authentic. They both mess up and hurt each other. But the deeper they fall the more connected they are to one another, and the more connected the reader becomes to their story.

This book is the first in a series and Ellie Wade does a great job of establishing a relationship between these two characters. We see moments of intense passion and hurt, moments of confusion and rightness. It is messy and complicated but not overly so. It gives a good foundation to see where these two will go in the next book! I can already feel that some major things will be happening and I am interested to see how these two come out on the other side.

You know how some books captivate you and make you want to read them, due to the cover - that to me was Finding London as I adored the abstract feel of the book cover with the different colours. I also have a thing for London like the main character and have wanted to visit there - it is on my bucket list of things to do. The main character Loic Berkely has lived a rough life as we read about how much his parents loved him and then this was cut short when they were killed. From there Loic was bounced between foster homes and different families , each one was a mission to survive in itself which obviously reasonated in his career choice of becoming a soldier in the military. The one word that has always kept him hope inside was "London" as his parents use to talk about it all the time. What Loic is about to discover though is that his London isn't the city but a girl who is the opposite of what he normally goes for , in fact Loic doesn't do relationships or romance at all as everything he becomes close to dies or leaves. Part of me liked this story as I loved the character of Loic and I wanted to be there for him through the pain and care for him , but the other part of me actually found reading Finding London - a difficult read as I tend to go for more fast-paced stories and I felt that this was too slow for me in parts and also I hate game-playing, it's ok for a little bit but I found this book quite full on as they would play mind games with one another which I didn't like as I feel there is no need for them. The other thing that got to me was London and her money, I know she was all for - I'm not one to just use my money and I want to get a job, but I felt that her character was trying to be two different people and the non-spoilt character wasn't really her. However, if you are in the mood for brokenness , new adult , college fiction, summer love and a whole lot of Edginess and Angst then Ellie Wade's new book in her series Flawed Hearts "Finding London" is the read for you.

I liked this one more than I thought I would. Loic was a wonderful hero, the perfect mix of broken alpha males that I adore. I loved how he gave into his craving for London, even as he continued to fight what was growing between them.

London was spoiled and bratty, but she saw through Loic's fight to the man that he is behind the wall. In my opinion, that worked in her favor (otherwise, she would have annoyed me as she sat at home freeloading off her parents). She has some growing up to do, but she's twenty-two so I'm willing to cut her a little bit of slack.

Not sure about Sarah showing up in Loic's life again. I think she may cause issues further along in London and Loic's story.

recensione a cura del blog "libri magnetici" by Anna M.

Ciao a tutti Magnetici!

Come andrà a finire?

Cinque stelle.

Man! I've got a lot to say about this book! So fair warning ⚠ spoilers ahead

so we have our main characters Löic and London, Loïc is an army special force or something with a broken/scarred past, London is the opposite of him, she's fun, quirky, sweet & determined. These two didn't really have a sort of meet cute cased mostly because of Loïc trust issues and baggage in life he does not want to have a relationship with her, he's the silent man whore type of guy, as the story progresses our main characters embarks in a relationship.

so here's my issue... 🙄

I swear! Loïc doesn't know what boundaries and insensitivity means to be honest, all of his actions towards Sarah was unacceptable considering he's with London now, Its really annoying and frustrating, he obviously has feelings for this Sarah, and I tell you what it doesn't feel "sisterly, bestfriend or familial" , yet a romantic one and not platonic. This dude has hang ups and unresolved issue or whatever the f*ck you wanna called it for this girl, its just really throw me out of the bus. The argument isn't really believable it more of an excuse, a justification for the hero actions nor attitude. I will be glad if he & London just break up and go on separate ways

so disappointed 😥
