Hmm I stand by my statement that this series could have been executed better BUT I think both the art and the character drama really improved in the second half and I’m a little disappointed that there’s not more. It totally feels like there could be way more arcs. I need more non-male-gazey women’s sports manga with crazy lesbian undertones to fill this void somebody please plagiarize this manga and make it better and longer.

i can't accept it's over but i'm glad it's officially finished instead of cancelled. teppu is such a good and underated series – very complex characters, incredible female cast, lesbian hostility energy and a catching story even for a sports manga. i hope we get to see more of teppu in the future!

Finally finished this. It was a great underdog story. Reminds me a lot of the original Rocky movie. Very solid, would read again.
