This is a fast phased short story, instasweet love with a big domineering scottish accent hero who is after his heroine.

Nova is broke and on street after her 'friend' roommate evicted their shared apartment. Baylor takes one look at Nova and knows she is his everything. Follows fast phased to everything - resisting, wooing and HEA.

Baylor is love-only-once-madly. His first approach to Nova is creepy but it's hilarious and cute too. He doesn't let her leave once he took her. He makes her look online for houses and immediately moves them there. Baylor may seem pushy and Nova may seem doormat because Nova was weary of people and Boylor is super patient and understanding to Nova's predictment. This was a sweet, romantic story with sexy accent and hot scenes.

Baylor is in his car when he sees a woman that he is absolutely captivated by. He tries to approach her and get her to go with him but honestly he comes off a little creepy, lol. Nova’s roommate just cleaned out their apartment and disappeared. She was also evicted and has little money. She is attracted to the sexy Scottish man but her heart is wounded and she is weary so she flees. Baylor is determined to find his woman, he knows she is the one for him and he will stop at nothing to find her. Baylor was a great guy. He was patient with Nova and very caring. Once Nova let her walls fall and let Baylor in she realized he could give her she everything she ever wanted. I found Baylor’s accent to be a little inconsistent and hard to follow at times. The guide at the beginning was really helpful.

I love these books by SH. The characters she writes is so lovable, so domineering but in the sweetest way. Baylor sees his forever one night walking, but she disappears. He saves her when she needs help, but she keeps disappearing. He wants to find her desperately. Nova goes through a rough time, she's struggling, and this alpha male keeps showing up to save her. She very weary of people, but there is something about Baylor that keeps her wondering.

This was a good fast read. Baylor falls soooo hard, so fast, he's so swoony, and such a great character. He loves so hard and so deep. This book was scorching HOT. Love love love.

I'll be honest I'm alittle sad. I enjoyed this story alot!! My problem with it was well the way Baylor accent was rough for me to sometimes read. :( that was the only negative for me.

Poor nova homeless and broke.. thanks to her so called friend who stole rent money and her belongs, wandering the streets shes stop some random hot Irish guy who  wants her to go with him, and I laugh that Nova was smart and saying stranger danger lol girl smart. Baylor aka hot random Irish man has been obsessed with finding the girl who ran away from him. He knows she is going through something and all he wants to do is protect her. So he spends the next day or two looking for his girl. And he does he saves her and loses her again Nova is pretty slippery 😂😂

Until she goes to his office to thank him for rescuing her, now that Baylor has her in his office he wont let her go again that easy.

KNIGHT IN SHINING KILT

I'm still drooling over Baylor's sexy Scottish accent....I'm in agreement with Nova on that, there is nothing sexier then an accent.

This book was a total Knight in Shining Kilt 😉 story. Nova found herself on hard times and homeless thanks to an crappy roommate but Baylor takes one look at Nova and knows he's going to make her his and give her the life she deserves, she will be his everything.

I'm a huge sucker for books where the guy is a billionaire successful businessman and sweeps the down on her luck lady off her feet. Add in Baylor's sexy accent and the HOT intimate scenes and you better believe this was a book for me!

I confess, I am a complete goner for a guy with red hair, so much so that I married one. Add in a Scottish accent and I am cooked. Baylor is definitely book boyfriend material, he is just too hot for words. Nova is such a sweet girl, put in a terrible spot by a person she trusted. She leads Baylor on a merry chase when she is too wary to take a chance that the safety she feels around him is real. Scottish accent galore. My man Baylor knew what he wanted, and what he wanted was Nova as his wife. Nothing could have stopped him from finding Nova and making her stay with him forever. The story is super fast paced and very steamy 😉 have fun y'all

Nova's roommate had been collecting rent money from her but she wasn't paying it so one day she comes home and finds most of her stuff and all of her roommate's stuff gone. Now she is broke and homeless with nowhere to go. Grabbing the last bit of stuff she had left she leaves and runs into her knight and shining armor but she thinks he is a creep and runs off. Baylor took one look at Nova and knew she was his girl and had to find her but she is hard to catch he has a few failed attempts. All that changes when she shows up at his work and he isn't letting her slip away anymore.

Everyone needs a hunky Scottish man! Nova is having a bad night, everything she had was stolen from her. While walking along the street, a strange man stops his car next to her and she runs off. After that he comes to Nova’s rescue the next day and the rest is history. Baylor is so alpha male, I love how he takes charges and treats Nova like a princess right off the bat. Nova is such a sweetheart, her and Baylor are a perfect fit. If you want something short and sweet, I recommend this book.

Baylor's got it all, or he thought he did until he saw Nova walking down the street carrying her entire life in a bag. She's lost everything she had thanks to a shady roommate, including her faith in humanity. So trusting some random guy who's showing up everywhere she goes, sticking up for her, looking out for her, isn't easy. Even if that guy is good-looking with an accent that's just mesmerizing.

Baylor has a vested interest in Nova, except what he'll gain is worth far more than her weight in gold. He knows she's his future, knows she's it for him. Convincing her isn't easy; lingering doubts of his intentions show up here and there in her eyes and body language but Baylor isn't a quitter. He'll do whatever it takes to get her to trust in him and trust in his feelings for her.

I like down-on-your luck stories. There's so much potential, so many ways the plot could go, so many lines the characters could travel to get to one another. Sometimes it takes a while, other times it doesn't. I wouldn't say Baylor and Nova's story is wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am! but it's definitely not drawn out, angsty, or overly-complicated. It's a right here, right now, I know this is it story that's softened by Nova's uncertainty and Baylor's determination.

A good short read that isn't too over the top or not enough feelings. It's got the right amount of the feels coupled with a healthy dose of alpha-ness and sprinkled with happily ever after. If you're a fan of Ms. Hart, this is one you'll want to add to your bookshelf. If you aren't, well, maybe this will be the story that makes you one.

Her Scottish Savior

Her Scottish Savior is a pretty incredible story. Definitely what I like to call an instaeverything or A very fast moving instalove. The writing style was a little different in this one with having a Scottish hero. I love that Shaw Hart added a key in the beginning so we knew exactly what Baylor was saying.

The only thing that bugged me a little bit was the hero's internal dialogue. Most of it was in perfect English with just a few random me's instead of my's. But there were a couple of places that it went full on Scottish for one or two sentences and then back to English. I guess I would have liked for it to be consistent and if I'm honest I would have much rather his internal dialogue been full on Scottish like his spoken words are. The way it's written seems more like the few me's are nothing more than typos.

That being said I loved the story itself! It's not my favorite Shaw Hart story but not my least favorite either. It's completely safe with no abuse, no cheating, no mention of hero's past partners, virgin heroine and has a happily ever after.

Two words...Baylor Iver!!!

So I’m a little biased because in a short time Shaw Hart has became one of my favorite authors and in doing so has be placed on the “does no wrong” category for me. Fair warning this is going to be reviewed with only the highest upmost praise I can give.

Baylor Iver is a successful CEO of Iver Aeronautics. Nova Donahue is having a bit of bad luck. Baylor sees Nova for the first time and immediately is in love with her. He helps her fend off a guy harassing her. However she runs away before Baylor can find out anything about her. He then proceeds the next day to keep searching for her. He finally finds her and keeps her with him and doesn’t let her leave him. When he finds out that she is homeless he tells her she will stay with him. She doesn’t like where he lives and he then immediately books a suite until they can move. Baylor then has Nova look at houses online and when she finds her dream house Baylor sets out to make it theirs. Once they move into their house Baylor tells Nova that they are getting married.

I loved Baylor and Nova. They are a great insta-love story. Definitely worth reading.

WHAT AN AWESOME BOOK... Baylor is Scottish and has built a wonder company from the ground.. After he father died, he moved to the United States to be with his mom... One night on his way home from work he saw the most beautiful woman he ever did see.. Nova just got kicked out of her apartment because her so called roommate and friend wasn't paying the rent.. Nova wasn't ever close with her parents... Nova is a very easy going trust worth person.. When Baylor first saw her all he wanted to is protect her and take of her.. Nova thought that she should be more tough and not let anybody in because of how life has treated her... So, she ran from him that night... Bay started looking for her since that night. He found her a couple nights later,but he didn't like the situation that she was in, so he jumped out of his car to save her.. She took off, the next day she came to his office to tell him thank you... The security guard was giving her a hard time about seeing Bay, but he quickly put him in his place.. From that day on they where inseparable..

This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Baylor Ivor is Scottish American man that moved back to the states with his mother. After university he created his own business and became a tech billionaire. When Baylor sees a beautiful young woman on the street, he wants her but she gets away before he can meet her. Nova Donahue’s life has just been turned upside down. Having lost her roommate, her home and most of her belongings, the last thing she needs is a determined man claiming she is his.
The chemistry between Baylor and Nova is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

Scottish accent ruined this one for me

Apparently he only speaks in a Scottish accent because his thoughts have an American one. This is the problem with writing a character with an accent in first person writing. The dialogue in the accent was ridiculous. “Yer distractin’ mah in me shirt.” “Me” is in the sentence twice but he says it two different ways? Also, using “me” in place of “my” made him sound like the Lucky Charms leprechaun. He also uses “my” several places so the use of the brogue was also inconsistent. He can’t say “where” (he says whaur) but he can perfectly pronounce “realtor”?

Look, I get this is hard to do. Frankly, I prefer when they just tell me he has an accent and I can imagine it in my head. The accent here made this book unintentionally hilarious.

I really love reading Shaw Hart books before I go to bed because they are short enough to be able to read the whole thing. This book was definitely short, but just as sweet as the rest of her books. Nova is homeless because of her roommate, who took off and left her with nothing, and when she is wondering the street, she meets Baylor. As soon as Baylor saw Nova, he knew they were meant to be together, but he needs to find her first and make her his forever. When he finds her, he will make sure she knows that no one will ever hurt her and that he will always be there for her. Safe read with a HEA and great epilogues.

Sweet but possessive hero.

I really liked this short instalove story. It was entertaining and enjoyable with a couple of exceptions. The characters were interesting and likable even though they were a little bit over the top. Nova had been experiencing some difficulties with her life and her trust level was pretty low. When Baylor saw Nova, he was positive that she was his, so he wasn’t thrilled with her actions shortly thereafter. Baylor decided that he was going to find her again and his persistence paid off. Nova wanted to take her time but that quickly changed. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Scottish Yummy Alpha!!! 💞

Is there anything better than a Scottish alpha???

As Baylor is driving down the street one night, he sees a beautiful girl walking all alone and immediately knows that she's his " One". Nova finds herself homeless after she comes home from work to not only find out that her roommate stole most of her belongings but also hadn't been paying their rent. Baylor stops her that first night and offers her a ride. Scared, Nova takes off running away from him. Driving himself crazy looking for his girl, the next evening he sees a guy grabbing her arm outside of bar. Baylor sees red and immediately starts hitting the guy. Seeing this, Nova is scared and takes off again. Feeling bad that he may have been hurt defending her, Nova shows up at Baylor's building to thank him but security wont let her pass. Well, thankfully, Baylor is near and sees and hears his girl. The book is about finding your "One" and never letting them go. Baylor was extremely dominant and alpha but oh so sweet and caring with Nova.

The talented Shaw Hart takes us on a ride of last love at first sight! Nova is down on her luck until she is found by Baylor. After a few false starts where she runs away, Baylor finally gets her to come to him. Once together it is full steam ahead as these two are fated to have everlasting love!! He sweeps her off her feet and the fairytale love story makes you fall in love!!! Safe, insta love, everything you expect from a Shaw Hart book!! Definitely recommend, she is a must one click for me!!

Wow! What a sweet and sexy with a hot Scottish H that doesn't waste time to get his girl. Nova is homeless, with no money and without any ideas of what she is going to do when a mysterious man with a heavy Scottish accent tries to help her. Distracting of his intentions she turns away only to have him save her from a stranger's advances. Little does she knows that when she finally agrees to accept his help, her life will change forever. Cute afternoon read.

I loved the book and the plot it was a great afternoon quick read. What I didn’t like however was how Shaw had Baylor talk. Don’t get me wrong I love an accent on a man. But half of the stuff that she wrote him saying just sounded incorrect after extensive research because it irked my nerves when I was constantly trying to decipher his words. And she was inconsistent with it. One second his character is written in American and next in the Scottish accent. It was a cute ready though once u got past that.

This was an insta-love novella.

Baylor see's Nova walking down the street and instantly wants her as his, but he keeps losing her, until she shows up at his work and he's determined she'll never leave his side again.

Baylor's speech is written as Scottish and was a little distracting to read sometimes. He was super possessive from the beginning but sweet with Nova, getting her anything she wanted or mentioned.

There's also a 10 year epilogue.

Ms. Shaw did a wonderful job with this book! I was intrigue with this book right off the bat! Baylor and Nova are super cute together. Nova keeps giving Baylor the slip until she can't resit knowing him any longer. Baylor wants nothing more than to have Nova by his side, and happy, at all times. These two are so sweet together, they will make you melt! I loved this book!

Sweet

Baylor has everyone would want but now he needs someone to make his life complete. Nova has nothing, including trust, now that her roommate took everything and had them evicted. The minute Baylor sees Nova he knows she is his forever. He just has to find her and prove his love and devotion. I fell in love with Baylor and how he will change everything for nova to make her happy. Shaw Hart did a great job with his Scottish accent.
