Missing the Tag can be read as a Stand-Alone Action/Adventure Romance in the Bishop's Run series.
With their Happily-Ever-After firmly in place, Tess and Bishop are settling into married life in Tenley, Virginia. It's a quiet little town--not quite off the beaten path, but enough that if you wanted trouble, you'd have to go looking for it.
Have you met Bishop?
Pop-up shops selling leather pocketbooks, purses, cases, and bags spark Bishop's instincts to investigate, believing the goods to be counterfeit, and Tess has her hands full reining her in, reminding Bishop that her present life in the Witness Security program cuts her off from the life she left behind in Baltimore.
With a broken promise, keeping secrets, and another woman pursuing Bishop for sport, more than just the honeymoon could be over for the happy couple.
And erasing a lifetime creates big problems when Bishop's memory holds the key.
The clock is ticking and the danger is closer than they know.
B.D. Gates is a northern-born, southern-raised writer who has always been told to "write what you know." What she knows is warm spring nights under the lights of the ball-field, four-wheeling, fire pits, fishing, and real southern women, the strong, no-nonsense kind. She currently lives with two dogs and three cats in a small rural town much like the one she writes about.
B.D. Gates writes about Bishop & Tess and all their friends in Tenley in the lesfic "Bishop's Run" series.
Well, now what do I read? I have run out of Bishop books for now. After reading about Bishop’s story, Tess, Penny, Hatch, Biggs et al, I’m going to miss all these strong women. This book and the series so far has it all – romance, suspense, mystery, softball, and plenty of villains of different sorts, from the lecherous Justine to hardened criminals. This one had a twist I did not expect, but it definitely fed into the storyline well, and it ended on another twist. I am eagerly awaiting book 4.
Only thing wrong with this book is that it is over! These women can’t seem to stay out of trouble it just find them. Some make me mad, some make me happy. I love Penny, I grew up with a girl like her in a small town in Texas & we played softball from elementary to our early 30’s together. She still cracks me up and I never know what she is gonna say or get up to. Please tell me the next book in this series is coming soon!!
I didn't think this could get any better than the first two books in the series, but Shazamm! This book really scored way up there. I certainly hope there are more to the series coming soon.
.Exciting, intriguing, stories with great plots. Interesting characters so I Read half the night each book because I couldn't put the books down. Can't wait for book 4!
This story just keeps getting better. Looking forward to the 4th book in the series. If you've picked this to read you really need to read the first two in the series so you understand the whole sequence of events that has led us here.
Of the 3 in the series so far this one had the BEST ending! I can't wait to read the next. Definitely make sure you read the first two before this one it'll make it so much better.
I've totally loved reading each adventure of Bishop and Tess's. All three books so far have been so good and hard to put down once I started them. Looking forward to the next one, especially with how this one was left.
I am really enjoying this series. With the combination of laughter, naughtiness and poor Bishop makes the best recipe for a good read. Cannot wait for the next one.😁❤ (emojis do work..lol)
I read all three books in this series back to back. Once you start you can't put them down. Great characters and wonderful stories. I recommend all of them in order.
Really enjoyed the characters and their intertwined relationships... Love the plot twists and turns... Can't wait to see what happens next---bring on book four!
Oh the twists and turns in this little doozy is SO good! Still loving the characters... even the annoying ones that redeem themselves in the end. I'm glad Bishop finds her way back to Tess.

This series is one of my favorites, I hope another book is in the works. All the lead women in this book will leave you hoping for more of there stories .Well done.
Loved the entire series! And I just know more books will follow!! Being a former competative softball player and coach, I was hooked from the beginning.
I have enjoyed each book. I was NOT expecting the end in this one. I am actually grateful how Justine fit in the end too. I cannot wait for the next one.
