So quick a read, I almost missed it. This book was very very very short and sweet. The hero was undercover, slept with the heroine but had to leave to get the bad guy. She had a baby and a year later he comes back. He really loved her and she loved him and HEA. I wish it had been longer. I loved it when she almost ran over his bike.

Para empezar no sabía que tenía age gap y no me gustó tanto eso. La excusa por la que él la dejo me pareció estúpida y sentí que ella lo perdono muy rápido.

Abby is working in a local diner when she meets Jason the cute guy from table eight and after months of watching him from afar he invites her out. The spend a heated night together and thinks she’s found the man of her dreams finally, after a less than ideal childhood with an abusive father and an absent mother she thinks she’s found the man meant to love her. But when she wakes up alone and he’s gone it looks like she’s made the wrong choice again only this time she’s not alone. What will she do if he suddenly reappears?
Jason is an undercover cop trying to bust a major drug supplier when he walked into a diner and sees Abby, she’s an innocent dream come true and after months of work he’s finally caught a break. Asking Abby to leave with him was the best decision he made but when things heat up on his investigation he leaves her alone in his cabin. A year later he’s back and wants to make amends. Will Abby forgive him and take him back or will he have to prove that what they shared that one night was everything he ever wanted and loves?
Easy to read in one sitting with a flawed hero and innocent heroine. Cute epilogue too. Recommended read. 4 🌟

Esperaba un diálogo de ese momento, una muestra un poco más extensa de sus sentimientos ante tal presentación. Me quedé un poco chafada. Ademś que tampoco el epílogo me transmite mucho. Por lo demás, una historia como otra cualquiera de Jenna Rose.

One night with Abby, but he has no choice but to go away for a year, leaving the love of his life behind.
The truth is that I was a little dissatisfied because the most striking part of the book is when Abby is going to tell him what has happened a year after that night of passion, and that's the end of the novel. I was expecting a dialogue of that moment, a little more extensive display of her feelings before such a presentation. I was a little disappointed. Besides, the epilogue doesn't convey much to me either. Otherwise, a story like any other Jenna Rose story.

A Big Little Secret is the first book I have read by Jenna Rose so I was not sure what to expect. After reading the book description, which looked like it could be both interesting and fun, I decided to pick up a copy and give it a read. It is the story of Abby and Jason. She is nineteen years old and works as a waitress at a local diner. She has been on her own since she dropped out of high school at sixteen after she was basically ostracized by everyone when a boy started a rumor about her and posted naked pictures which he said were her. Jason is a member of the New Hampshire State Police and is working undercover trying to get the head of a drug smuggling ring. Every week for several weeks he has come into the diner, sat at the same booth, ordered breakfast for dinner and chatted with Abby. She has developed a crush on him and he has been attracted to her since the first night she waited on him.
They share one night together and then he disappears without a trace. But he did leave a little something behind and Abby is having to deal with the unintended consequences. Jump forward a year and Jason has popped back up with the intention of getting Abby back. But he is going to have to really work to try and convince her that he is actually reliable and will be there. What will he do when he finds out that there is a baby involved now? He takes a real novel approach to proving he is here to stay and that Abby can trust him..............he quits his job as starts down a whole different career path.

➛ Una trama dividida en dos espacios temporales, aunque el pasado es bastante corto. Tiene muchos clichés, pero si quieres un libro romántico-erótico que te haga pasar un buen rato, seguro que puedes disfrutarlo.
➛ Este cliché de "una noche" que termina en bebé, no me gusta; no sé, simplemente no van conmigo. Esta vez es lo mismo, no me convenció la relación entre ambos ni los personajes y NO, QUE SEA DE CORTA DURACIÓN, NO ES UNA EXCUSA, MARTA.
➛ Por último, tengo una duda; lo único que faltaba para que Abby volviera con el tipo James era que se retirara de la policía ?-? Tipo, y no que te sentías mal por su traición y eso. El tipo tampoco me cae demasiado bien a decir verdad.

I really enjoyed this short story. I do wish it was a little longer, but that's because I'm greedy. The characters were all great including the supporting characters.
Abby was a waitress at a diner and she met Jason when he became a regular. One day, Jason comes in and is acting differently than usual. Abby lets him take her home with him. She thought that their wonderful night together meant they were going to be together forever, she was wrong. Abby made a very big mistake and is left with no way to contact Jason. Which means that she has to raise their child alone.
Jason shows up a year later with an apology and a story about why he left and where he's been. He looks better than ever. She listens to what he has to say, but Abby won't get into a relationship with Jason that easily. Jason's already proved that he can vanish easily and Abby's not going to let someone unreliable into her son's life. Jason is determined to prove to Abby that he's here for her. He only left because he had to and he missed her every night. Jason is sure that she's the one. Will he be able to get her to understand and give him a chance?
There were a lot of feels in this story. I definitely understood Abby's actions when Jason comes back and I agreed with them. I did like the epilogue to let us know they got their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

For some time, Jason has been coming to the diner where Abby works as a waitress. The two of them have a sizzling chemistry and finally they act on it, spending an incredible night together, which Abby is hoping becomes “forever”. To her shock, he is gone without a trace the next day, leaving her pregnant with no way to contact him.
A year later, Jason shows up again! This time he is going to have to convince her that he’s reliable and she can trust him back in her life. Why did he leave her like that? How will he react when he finds out about his baby son? Can he convince her he wants them to be his “forever”?
I enjoyed reading this romantic book. The characters are well developed, likable, and engaging, with plenty of chemistry. His leaving her as he did, despite the valid reason of his undercover work, was the worst thing he could have done to her. Her own family history, with abuse and abandonment, made her extra-sensitive to this scenario. She’s going to make him work for this HEA if she decides he is worth it! The story line flowed smoothly from the beginning to the end and kept the reader fully involved.

This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline entertaining. Jason is an undercover police officer that is close to the end of an assignment. When Jason meets Abby, he wants her but will he take the risk of endangering her? Abby has had a crush on a diner customer since she first saw him. When Abby takes her chance with Jason, will she get her heart broken?
I did see some chemistry between Abby and Jason but I would have liked a little more. I wish that there were a few more scenes of Jason and Abby as a couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

Abby and Jason had one incredible night together - and then Jason completely disappeared. Abby was left with a permanent reminder - a beautiful baby boy - but when Jason comes back a year later, she is afraid to let him back into her life.
Jason is an undercover cop, and had no choice other than to leave after an amazing night with the woman of his dreams - now, a year later, how can he convince her that she is all he wants? What will happen when he finds out about the baby? Loved this cute story!

Abby is a teenager who works in a diner. She quickly falls for Jason a mysterious and hot guy. He comes in one night and takes her away along with her virginity and she doesn’t see him for a year until he comes back with an explanation. I thought the characters were very realistic. The plot not so much ! Especially when she takes him back so quickly. Plus it was kinda creepy a 31 yr old. Going after a teenager. I’m sorry but I wasn’t that happy with this book.

3.5 **** stars After being a regular at the diner where she works, Abby agrees to meet Jason after work. Expecting to see him the next morning, he is gone, gone! Except he left her with a long lasting gift. When he comes back a year later, he doesn’t get a very excited reunion. His work is dangerous and causes abrupt departures. She doesn’t think that it would be a suitable life for her son. What’s a guy to do? Enjoyable read!

The last chapter ruined the story for me, it was so anticlimactic, the main point of the story is the surprise pregnancy but there's not a single scene between the hero and his son :(

This a short quick read. Jason frequents the diner where Abby works as a waitress. There is chemistry there when he finally acts on it he disappears without a trace for a year. You learn or perhaps guessed early on what happened so now it's up to Jason to make things right.
A nice read for that down time.

Absolutely fantastic! It is a well written second chance romance with a well-developed, consistent, and engaging plot. It is a captivating, funny, and emotionally deep read with drama and ups and downs. The characters are likeable with off the charts chemistry between them. This book will hold your interest from beginning to end. Strongly recommended!

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more it was light hearted. Abby and Jason had good chemistry between them.

Jason and Abby were perfect for each other at the wrong time. After one night, Jason left and Abby was left with a surprise.
When Jason comes back, they each have to figure out how to make it work.
This was a good read with a great HEA.

A well-written story of Hidden/Undercover Identity and Secret Baby Story. She has trust issues due to how they met and is not sure if he should know he is a father. The characters are very well-constructed and grow through-out the story. A must read story

Para mi criterio es un libro rápido de leer y que te garantiza un final feliz, me gustó cómo la escritora presentó a su personaje, los únicos que no me gustó mucho es que el último capítulo le falta un poco de más. Pero igual es una lectura rápida y muy sencilla de entender. Se la recomiendo como una lectura rápida para iniciar el año.

I don’t really like the book, the female main character was a little bit dumb and the male main character was so possessive and alpha that I didn’t even like him. The age gap was of 12 years and when they have sex she was only 19 and I think that she was not sure I she want to make it. There were some incoherent things in the book

This was a pretty good book. Very short, but still managed to hit all of the background details. Could definitely feel the chemistry between Jason and Abby. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
