Blackfriar Mysteries #1-4

The Blackfriar Mysteries 1-4

Rate this book
Secrets. Blackmail. Murder.

The Blackfriar Apartment building housed an interesting collection of tenants who have secrets to hide. They lived peacefully, until Tatiana's malicious gossip and greed upset her neighbors...upset them enough for one of them to push her down the stairs!

That should have been the end of the blackmail demands, shouldn't it?

But the threatening notes continued, and they seemed to be very close to the truth, close enough for Marissa, Bernice, Helen and others to pay up to preserve their secrets.

Then, another blackmailer caught, and peace prevailed...but only for a short while!

Who was Marissa really? Where did she come from, Portugal as she insisted, or were her paintings really Nazi loot...

And Estelle de Wisner... she claimed to be a retired European opera singer, but when her neighbors went on line to check, they couldn't find out a thing.

Bernice claimed to widowed twice, but Tatiana had insisted Bernice was wanted by the FBI for murdering six husband!

What of Tatiana herself? Was her background KGB? Or was it even muddier and more sinister than that?
