Cute story but

It's too expensive for so few pages of reading. I would love to see what happens but I can't justify the cost for so many installments.

Too short too expensive

It's a great series with terrific potential but it's price at $4 for roughly 80-81 pages makes it much too expensive for such a short read. Usually serials such as these lay within the .99 to 1.99 Mark at most. As fun as this series is turning out to be, I just can't justify the 8.00 expense for these waay too short novellas. Sad too, there is quite a lot of potential in the series.

This second Academy of Beasts novella starts out a little slower than the first, but the suspense continues to build. Every question Fiona has leads to more questions, and those who seem to have the answers aren't saying anything. There is some danger for our heroine, and of course, there's the resident mean girl to cause some trouble. This is a serial, so of course, each book comes to a cliffy or an open-ended conclusion to ponder over while waiting for the next installment. This one leaves us with secrets layered in secrets, and I'm about as anxious to learn the truth as Fiona. The book is well-written, the characters are engaging, and the storyline has a steadily rising tension and suspense that has me hooked.

And we’re off….the second book has Fiona trying to figure out what is going on. She knows the boys are keeping secrets and it is not sitting well with her. She is doing her best to fit in and trying to not make waves but someone is out to get her. Is Fiona really safe at The Academy? This is a slower start than the first book but as the pages turn, the twists and drama will have any reader on the edge of his/her seat. I cannot wait for the next book to see where the story goes. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.

This is a voluntary and honest review for an advanced copy.

This is the second Academy of Beasts and starts out a little slower than the first. Still no questions answered and i still have no idea where the story is going to take me, which makes it hard to review in full.

There was a small story-line within this second part but i want to know more information about Fiona and the council.

This feels like it might carry on for a few parts, i will carry on with the series for now but i am hoping that something more will happen in the next episode.

I was so excited for this book after reading the first and I am so very glad that I can confirm that book 2 more than lived up to expectations. We get to explore the characters a bit more and there are hints at answers but with those hints more questions arise. The Council boys are still keeping secrets from Fiona and she is as determined as ever to get answers, I cannot wait for a few of those myself.

Good book!

I didn't realize the books were so short and not on KU. The book is great. I'm enjoying the character development so far. I do wish the story moved along a little faster. I've already bought the next book. As long as I keep being entertained, I'll keep paying a price I think is too much for such a short book.

Too Short

So far I am enjoying this series. The issue I have is the length of the books as compared to the length. 3.99 for a one hour read is pricey and 150.00 for the entire series is ridiculous. It feels like one of those price per chapter websites converted into an e-book. if you’re going to self publish, please create normal length books!

The suspense builds in this second book in the series. She knows there are secrets being kept from her but has little luck getting answers. It really leaves you wanting to find out just what is the motivation for having her there.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

Academy Of Beasts II is the second book in this series by author Becca Fanning. This one is dark and gritty. Enemies are lurking. The mysterious. Mr. X is back- a threat? Is Fiona ready? All this makes this a entertaining tale.
Enjoy!!

Academy of beasts two shifter romance

Beautiful story that was written with a girl who lost memories of her true family and while at the school is having flashbacks of her family before her adopted family and is coming to realize she actually might have an identical, twin brother.

I’m invested

I honestly didn’t think I would enjoy this but I am. I think I know what she is but I think there is more than that. I like that the guys are coming around in their own ways. I hope that continues.

Writing seems to be getting better through each book. I don't know why all these books aren't combined into one. Definitely seems like a cash grab!
