You may have met Jonah’s brother, Adam, in Crazy About Alaska. Adam has four brothers and each will find love in the Alaska Matchmakers Romances.
This is a standalone book which is part of a series. It’s clean and wholesome with no sex or swearing. The author is from Alaska, so she knows the real Alaska.
I found this during a rabbit hole run on Amazon lol It's when I found a bunch of free Kindle books. And now that I have my actual Kindle, I knew I needed to get my butt reading. So I started with this on because it seemed so cute.
And it was cute! It was a quick, love at first sight romance. Nothing graphic at all, only some kisses and they weren't anything too crazy. Not only was there the romance, but there was some family drama with both main characters. And I personally would rather read romances that deal with family drama over drama between the two love interests. But I know that a lot of others love that drama aspect between the lovers lol
I do think the Brown did a good job with making this story quick, but also adding enough information so you weren't feeling like you missed something. But I will say that since it was a quick romance, I do think it was lacking. I found myself questioning certain scenes, more so what was said between characters. Like I felt like some of the things said were a bit dumb? I feel wrong for saying it like that because it sounds mean, but I don't know how else to put it.
Overall I think it's a cute story and it does make me want to read the rest of the Alaska Matchmakers series! I would recommend this to people under 18 due to it not being explicit at all, there wasn't even cussing.

Rachel is typically runs on autopilot. She knows what needs to be done and when it needs to be done and just gets it done. She's not use to not scheduling things. Things take a crazy turn for her when her parents have her take a planned and scheduled trip to Alaska to get her brother back.
As soon as Rachel get to Alaska her schedule and plans go right out the window and everything comes to a halt for her. There is one person who helps to save the day and gets her the flight she needs to go find her brother. Once in the air everything goes wrong. The plane has issues and they need to make an emergency landing.
Rachel is scared but it helps that her pilot is handsome and easy to get along with. She needs to figure out what she is made of to survive everything and still complete her scheduled plans.
Read this book to find out if Rachel can manage to find her brother, makes it out of the wilderness in one piece, and to find out more about the handsome pilot.
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a sweet easy going romance book.
ACCIDENTLY MATCHED is an Alaska Matchmakers Romance. It's the 1st book I've read by Cathryn Brown. It is a sweet & clean romance with no more than long romantic kisses. There is lots of action & adventure in the wilderness of Alaska to keep you entertained.
Rachel Fitzpatrick has been sent by her parents to bring her brother home from Alaska. He needs to start running the family business. He had taken a vacation trip to Alaska and never wanted to return. Rachel would have loved nothing more than to be head of the company, but her father said only a man could become head of the company. His archaic idea is breaking her heart. But here she is in Alaska on a mission to bring her brother home. She was finding it was not so easy to travel in wintertime, by trains, planes or automobiles, to get where her brother was living.
Rachel was trying to find a plane to fly her to where her brother was staying, but the man at the counter was not able to help. Then she met a sweet middle aged lady that was dressed from head to toe in flower patterns. She looked just like an older flower-child version from the sixties. Rachel complimented her on her dress & luckily she was able to help Rachel. Her name was Anita and her son just so happened to be a pilot & was flying out soon close to her destination. She also was helpful in something else that Rachel would find out later. Anita was well known for her matchmaking skills. That is how city girl Rachel met Noah O'Connell and she was in for much more then just a plane ride.
This book is so good and I really enjoyed reading it. If you love Hallmark movies you will love this book. I highly recommend that you read the book and let us know what you think.
This is a love story between Rachel Fitzpatrick and Noah O'Connell. Rachel was in Alaska to find her brother and try to talk him into coming back to manage the family business. She had missed her ride to the little town he lived in and was desperately trying to find another way to get there. Another woman walked into the little airport and Rachel admired her flowered purse. They got to talking and Anita O'Connell decided to play matchmaker and got her a ride with her son who flew a small plane. She knew Noah had a weakness for an Irish accent and had Rachel talk in the accent to her son. They had a small mishap with the plane and Rachel was so scared that she forgot to use her Irish accent. So the gig was up and she told Noah why she was using the accent. So Noah decided to play a prank back on his mother knowing how she loved weddings and the planning of one, so he decided to pretend that he and Rachel had eloped. Anita had 5 sons an none of them appreciated her flowers that she wore on everything. And she was constantly trying to play matchmaker to them all. So did their little prank work? Or did his mother see right thru the prank?
It’s a quick wholesome read. The characters are a delight and the dynamics are hilarious. The scenery breathtaking and the world-building is superb. But then you get the dialogue and I’ve read better dialogue from this author. It felt too immature at times and stilted in others. Sometimes the character talks and it feels like they’re saying it for the sake of saying it and not because it’s something that needs to be said. Also, am I the only one thinking Stockholm Syndrome with the romance? I mean Noah and Rachel are cute together, but did they really think they could pull it off about being married to each other after knowing each other for less than a week? I’m glad for the break up (never thought I’d ever think that) because it allowed them time to mature into their feelings for each other. I would definitely reread it for the characters because they’re a blast. ⭐️4 💧8.5
I liked this. It wasn't the best, and it felt very light, so it was a pretty easy read. I'm not from Alaska (and have never visited...yet), but there were a couple of comments made in the story about Rachel's parents being super conservative/traditional about only men running the family business, and how that would blow the minds of Alaskan women. Same with Rachel putting the “fake wedding ring” on the finger that Americans use for marriage in a later scene. Why are we pointing that out? Is Alaska so far away that they're not American? That they don't know what Americans do? Because last I checked, Alaska is still a part of the United States. The comments just felt weird and took me out of the story. I'm giving this a high 3. It's a good, light read, and I would enjoy reading more from this author.
This was a wonderful, delightful book to read. I have been to Alaska so I could picture all the places mentioned in this story. It was written with great imagery and colorful word choices. I loved the dialogues between the characters and reading about all the fun events, which through them into more and more issues. This is a new to me author and I think I just might have to pick up some of her other books. I know I want to continue on with this series. I think it will be fun to see what happens with all the O'Connell brothers. Cathryn Brown has a smooth way of writing and it was so easy to read this book in one day. If you like a bit of adventure and a sweet story with romance, then this is the book for you.
This is a sweet clean romance with fun characters. Noah is a pilot in Alaska. Rachel's flight into Alaska got delayed and so there is no one to fly her the last leg of her journey to find her missing brother, David. In the hanger, Rachel learns that there is no way for her to make the next flight for several days. When Noah's mother comes into the hangar, she arranges for Rachel to fly with Noah. Noah's mother plays a prank on Noah and asks Rachel to speak with an Irish accent, knowing it will real Noah in. However, during the short flight to see her brother, the engine fails and Noah and Rachel have to fight their way through raging waters and a very long hike to get back to civilization.
Rachel is on her way to Alaska to convince her brother to come home to VA and run the family business. Her flight is delayed. She meets a lady in the airport who says her son will fly her to her destination. As a practical joke, will she speak in an Irish accent? Rachel agrees.
While they are flying, Noah's plane develops engine trouble and they have to make an emergency landing at an abandoned airfield. As they are walking to civilization, they develop a friendship.
Fun, cute story with a loud family and a few dogs.
Really great story. Light hearted, full of excitement, new adventures, and scared times. Noah was pilot and had his own small plane. Rachel had been sent on a mission to find her brother living in Alaska. Noah was to fly her to her destination. Problems with the plane caused them to land on an old rod through the wilderness. Landing safely, they had to find shelter for the night. Their great adventure begins. You will enjoy this
This is a new author to me. The story was a nice, clean read. Even though she was a city girl, I liked the fact that Rachel didn’t let a series of unfortunate events upset her and she was able to help Noah in the wilderness. Her parents are really something. There are a couple of unanswered questions, and there were a few errors that better proofreading should have caught but, overall, it was a cute story.
I really enjoyed reading this romance. Rachel runs on schedules and being the dutiful daughter for her parents. They own a high level men's clothing store and do not believe a woman is capable of running it. Her older brother David took a trip to Alaska and hasn't returned. Her parents expect her to go and get him back to take over the business. Great setting in Alaska. Rachel meets Noah, a pilot, who can fly her into Talkeetna. This is when the adventure starts!
I enjoyed this book! Noah, a pilot, has always had a soft spot for a voice with an Irish lilt! Rachel, on an expedition to find her brother in Alaska, has Irish relatives but is wholly American! When Noah's Mum asks Rachel to pretend she's Irish, as a practical joke on her son, Rachel agrees but only if Noah pilots her to the small town where her brother now lives.I Thus an adventure begins which draws Noah and Rachel closer together. A really great read!
I really enjoyed the first half of this book. Characters were likeable, story was written well, and it was an enjoyable read. However by the second half when the idea to be fake married as a joke to get back as his mom came into play, I’m not sure what it was. But it wasn’t holding my interest and I found myself skimming the rest.
Definitely think it’s worth a re-read, and maybe in the future I’ll give it another shot.

What starts off as an innocent prank leads into something more. Rachel is supposed to lure Noah into liking her by faking an Irish accent. Well, the joke’s on her because she and Noah get sidetracked by an unplanned wilderness adventure, and they end up forming a bond that they apparently can’t shake. Gotta read to get the details! I definitely have family envy. Noah is a lucky dude.
Noah's mom was always playing matchmaking for her sons. She met Rachel and got her to pretend she was Irish to trick Noah. He agreed to fly her to find her brother, but they had to land in an emergency. It took them two days to get to civilization. Noah decided to play a joke on his mom and pretend they got married. Find out how this played out by reading this fun story.
I loved the two main characters and the storyline. It really brought their relationship in reality and built on their individual characteristics and lives. With such great detail, the reader feels as if they are a part of both of the individuals lives but also a part of the families lives.
A true-to-life story set in Alaska. The author rightly describes Alaska, it's towns & wilderness. It's a great intro to living in Alaska. The story begins with a fearful flyer & then a plane crash. The Talkeetna & Petersville areas are full of beauty. Denali is very visible on clear days, as the story says.
This novel is not only a romance in Alaska, it is a romance with Alaska. Rachel comes to Alaska to bring her brother back home to the family business. Turns out her brother loves Alaska and is staying. Rachel struggles with her love for Noah and Alaska and a happy ending awaits characters and readers.
Rachel is a city girl while Noah is a country boy. What could they possibly have in common. He flies planes in Alaska and she is hoping to take over her family's business. She is in Alaska to talk her brother into coming back to run the family business and she needs a plane ride. Guess who is the pilot.
Good story to read. Well written, well developed characters, lush scenery, a scary trek through rough wilderness and two people who deserve to be loved, for real. It's the allure of spectacular scenery, a no-holds-bar loving family, and a man who sees wonder when he's with her. Your turn, read it and enjoy.
This sweet, clean romance is full of unexpected adventure. Rachel is an East Coast city girl. Noah is a pilot in Alaska. A missed flight and a chance encounter with Noah's mother set Rachel on a path she never expected when she flew to Alaska to find her brother. easy to read with likeable characters.
Rachel and Noah meet under funny circumstances. I liked seeing them together and how they learn about themselves and each other. However, I found their relationship a bit forced and too fast. Still a great read though.
Standalone. 3rd person dual pov. No violence. Not steamy.
A wonderful read! Real characters with strong fortitude
A wonderful read! Real characters with strong fortitude. So many romantic novels these days consist of over the top, dominant men. This shows a bit of whimsy but allows for an honest and clean romance. I can not wait to read Mark’s story.
I enjoyed this story of Noah and Rachel as they went from a fake wedding to a real romance. Rachel went to Alaska to talk her brother into returning and taking over the family clothing store, but he is happily married and settled. Their parents do not believe in a woman being the head, so Rachel is set adrift.
Accidentally Matched is a sweet romantic adventure. What starts out as a practical joke ends up being much more. An adventure in the wilderness after a crash landing brings the pilot & passenger closer. Will Noah’s Moms practical joke end up being an actual relationship? A really great book.
Cathryn Brown is a new author to me this is the second book of hers that I just finished I loved them both and purchased the next one already I highly recommend this book to everyone Dorothy Schaefer
I enjoyed this story and plan on reading more books by Cathryn Brown, a new author to me. It kept my interest and I didn’t want to put it down. I enjoyed reading about the Alaskan wilderness.
Alaska and two delightful people are thrown together and encounter some difficult times in the space of a few days. They fall in love and come together in spite of their different life circumstances.
