This was absolutely not something I would read for pleasure but it was not as tedious as I made it to be probably because it ended up making sense with various stuff I actually liked like "A Tree grows in Brooklyn", "American Gods" or "The Help" that all treat of issues in american culture analyzed in this essay. Even internet memes like high expectation asian father meme can be linked to this *Sociology everywhere*

Acheté en passant m’informer sur l Ecole de Chicago aka l’architecture, j’ai finalement decouvert en 120 page la sociologie des annees 20s. Belle surprise mais quelque peu desperant d’apprendre que les chercheurs americains etaient precurseurs en terme d’etude sur les problemes d’integrations des immigrants et minorities raciales et ont cependant si peu influences le reste du 20eme siecle voire 21eme.
