Never could get into this book due to the way J. B. Richard’s
Continued to ramble and go back and forth with the adopted 8 year old son and trying to use his character as an adult and as a 8 year old. I’ve read thousands of fictional western stories. It’s all I read, and this was the closest I have come to discontinuing a book. I didn’t care for the ending at all but it was no surprise. I’ve read a few other of Richard’s books and I think she convinced me to not read anything else of hers after this one.
