I read a passage a night. I found many of them to be very helpful, but a few of them left me pondering and I had to go and look up more to figure out what the author was talking about. I do think this is a helpful book that anyone who wants to write professionally should read.

Dianna Booher’s writing on grammar rules and their application has always presented everything I need to know in a simple, easy-to-understand manner. This is why I continue to return to her works whenever I need a brush-up on English grammar.

Although originally published more than a decade ago, Booher’s Rules of Business Grammar remains a reliable aid for readers within and outside business settings alike. The book presents everything the reader needs to know in a simple, concise and fun style.

This is a great way to review what I studied for GMAT sentence correction. It is a good reminder to correct my understanding of English grammar. It is far easier to read than The Elements of Style. Effective and interesting tips really help.

It was good as it gave me an outline of what to talk about in a writing seminar, but it didn't do much else for me. And I don't like that she doesn't think we need commas before the last "and" in a list. I think she misses the point that punctuation is to help the reader say the words as the writer meant them to be.

One of the best I've read about grammar rules. It's clear and concise, just what I needed to prepare from for a Common English Mistakes Training.
