Stetson and Teal's story sucked me right in. It is face-paced and kept me cheering for both of them as things moved along. I love how Austin helped keep everything in perspective for Stetson. it also showed that we all have our insecurities in life, even when others might not see them. The glimpse into the lives of the other Stong family members melted my heart. What an amazing family, full of love and forgiveness. Mama Strong is my hero. Stetson and Teal each have strenth and spunk that contributes to a powerful relationship. So fun to watch them grow together.

Teal and Stetson
Stetson is home for his father's funeral. He can't believe his father is really gone. 😥 What made it a double whammy was he wasn't signed for the NFL as he was hoping for. So when two of his high school buddies show up, he agrees to go with them. He needs to get some of his nervous anxiety worked out and what better way than a fight. When they get to the clearing, some obnoxious guy comes forward and says his names Ike and he can't wait to "mess up his pretty face". The only thing that stops the fight are the police showing up! So Stetson doesn't want to disappoint his mama too bad, so he runs, it's only 10 miles to get home, no problem as long as he can still have a little daylight. Things don't work out and he finds himself running in the dark, then he finds himself falling! Teal has just packed up her easel and other supplies and is headed home when she hears running, then a screamed "no" then something hitting the small stream she was just at. Who was hurt? Why were they running? So many questions. She goes back and finds a man who is obviously hurt! Will she help him? What happens next? So much happens you won't want to put this great story by Cami Checketts down!

This book of love intrigue and suspense was a great read. The fact that Stetson just came back from a NFL. camp after finding out he did not make the cut only to end up in a fight that almost hot him caught by the police. He met and instantly fell in love with an artist only to have her walk away because of his trust issues and lying. This is another great book in this series and one I would recommend everyone to read. This was a Free read for me and this is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill

It was fun and sad to read about the last Strong sibling. I know there is one more book but I’m gonna be sad to let this family go. Teal and Stetson aren’t your usual match but sometimes opposites attract, right? Stetson has some growing up to do. He knows that and pays the price for his choices in this book. Relationships are all about forgiveness and understanding all that is covered in this book for sure. Stetson and Teal work great together! As alway I Love books by this Author and can’t wait for the last book in this series I think it’s gonna be a great one!

Knocked it out of the park
I really loved this book, enough to read it 1 1/2 times. It really shows how we can be our own worst enemy. This book has strong family values and I would highly recommend it to all readers. It truly deserved the five stars I gave it. I have read everyone of this series and really hate to see them end.

The Strong family members are a force to be reckoned with
Teal has trust issues. Stetson has lost his way and feels like a loser. What a complicated pair. Ike is a hotheaded bully. I love this intense, suspenseful, exciting, and romantic story. Don’t Chase a Player has it all. Cami Checketts has done it again, written a book I couldn’t put down.

The Strong family romances are beautiful and wonderfully written. Each one is a well developed hero and love story intertwined. The family dynamics is a dream for the masses. If all families could love and support one another with honesty and humor even at the worst of times, we would all be a much happier human race.

I still like reading about the Strong family but this felt very sloppy. Editing errors. Slapping the story together. Crazy to expect when you spend all your time kissing that it is “lying” not to tell each other about your whole life in one day. I disliked the epilogue. Frustrating.
