A bit of a wishy-washy ending
Not quite up to the standards of the previous books. Did they actually get the killer? Who was involved in the scheme? It just seemed to leave it up in the air a bit. Although the news about Olivia surprised me and about the identity of the Fellow Concerned Sleuth. Plus it great to see her evolving relationship with Ralph
A date with Ralph turns into a nightmare when she receives a call that Olivia's body has been found. However the body is found another young woman. A young woman who had uncovered some serious crimes at her new job and was investigating. A blackmail scheme, a reporter, gum chewing, an attempted hit and run plus news about her missing nephew. Will they find out where Olivia is? Will they discover what the young woman had unearthed? Who is the Fellow Concerned Sleuth? Is the missing nephew in trouble?

If you could give half a star, I would have given this one 3 1/2 stars. I liked it right up until the end. The resolution left some things hanging that I wish were better resolved.

As Henri is in the process of training a new employee Jacob McPherson ( Blake's son) and Louella's grandson.
Henri is worried because she had not heard from Olivia not showing up at work and no phone call.
As Henri and Ralph are out to dinner she gets a phone call about Olivia, and they rush out to find out what is happening!!!
Now stuff hits the fan when Tidewater Investment (division of DWC) .
Then mayor Rickey is in trouble, now Henri and Ralph are pulled into many different? directions.
There is blackmail, deception, attempted murder and murder.
You must read this book!!!!
You won't be disappointed!!!!

Good story...
...liked the addition of Jacob as the Fellow Concerned Sleuth - but was surprised about Olivia & Scott - didn’t see that coming at all. The stories, or should I say mysteries, but I wish the relationship between Henri& Ralph would move along - it’s been in limbo too long.

The Concerned Fellow Sleuth helps
Heart pounding, Henrietta and Ralph head to Bowen Park to identify remains fearing it is one she knows and dreading the outcome. This throws them into another mystery to agonize over. I’m sorry but this book has, what to me, feels like an unfinished and abrupt ending.

Sooo good!
I so enjoy Hearts Grove Cozy Mystery Series. Ralph and Henri make a great couple, and keep every second of reading very interesting. I wished i didn't have to wait so long in between!

Another great story!
This story did not disappoint. Wonderful characters and interesting plot twists. I didn't figure out who the murderer was until the end. I can't wait to read the next book!

Nicely Done
I was captivated from the start addressable book in record time because I wanted to get to the next clue or discovery. I really have enjoyed the wonderful mysteries and look forward to the next in the series.

Great read
Have read all 9 books and find Henri and Ralph an ideal twosome. Henri is an independent woman and loves solving mysteries.
