The Power of Influence

Rate this book
Enthusiasm is as brittle as crystal, but Common Sense is durable as brass. This is a compact and compelling edition of Yoritimo-Tashis two great works, How to Exert it and Common How to Exercise it. From lessons on awakening the dormant energies within us by increasing and expanding the psychic forces to exerting powerful influence by exchanging confidence, The Power of Influence includes guidance on exerting influence by persuasion and suggestion, developing magnetic influence of the human eye, acquiring and developing common sense and practical sense, how to go about applying them in our daily lives, and their profitable utilization in the business world. Though centuries old, the doctrines of the twelfth-century Japanese shogun still remain relevant in modern times.

When life goes on toss or bad days seems like inevitable, we all desire for either support or self-help advices. However, this particular emotion too have become a business these days. Nevertheless, books in such cases help us a lot to recover. I personally recommend every person to seek help from books more than person, until he or she is a close associates.

Talking about the book, it is a wonderful compendia of thoughts and energies that a person needs to work upon. 'The Power of influence' by Yoritomo Tashi presents his core of perspective through the scrutiny of old Japanese scriptures.

This book carries a lot of ideas as to how a person can win the world by stabilising his psyche, which lot more reminds me of texts like 'Igikai', Puranas, and Bhagavat Gita. This books inculcates same thoughts and perceptions which we find in other ancient dogmas.

Overall, it is a simple and amazing read, however, #readers who are new to this subject would enjoy the story. 3/5
