Everything I wrote about the first book in this trilogy still stands. B.J. Frazier is a wonderful storyteller whose work is peppered with realistic characters, plenty of plot, and steamy sex.
Her delightful prose and snappy dialog keeps pulls you along as Jeneca continues to learn about herself as she navigates the shark infested legal waters of a personal injury lawsuit with plenty of twists and lots of intrigue.
If you buy this book I promise you won't regret it.

What a follow up! An amazing continuation to the story of Jeneca. After the cliffhanger of part 1 I couldn't wait to continue this story and find out what happens. And, I'm just as eager to read part 3!

If mm1 was smoldering hot, the second entre in this series has melted the doors off of the blast furnace... In her quest to exorcise Keegan from her consciousness, Jeneca marches through her subs like Grant through Richmond. Crazy-hot, no other way to describe it! But BJ also further develops the characters, giving the reader even more depth of insight into the way the think and what they do. Without revealing any spoilers, it’s hugely satisfying to see the protagonist’s relationship develop, but you’re also aware that the table is being set for outside forces of both a friendly and not so friendly nature to move to center stage. All this goes on as this middle chapter of this series draws to a close, turning up the heat to nuclear for mm3! Which I am beginning tonight...

Yes, like others, I loved Book One. And I love Book Two.
But what's more notable is that I'm not one to read erotic fiction (I would have guessed). I usually want something rough and fast. But this was so much more fun -- the characters, the funny tics, the details about this or that, and especially the plaintiff that Jeneca is dealing with. What a hoot!
And yet, the romance is compelling and the sex steamy! I could not put it (virtually) down. The end left me dangling on tenterhooks, and I can't wait to start the third book of the trilogy. Highly recommended.

Ms. Frazier is very good at character development and in this case she’s made me squarely on Jeneca’s side. Any infraction on Keegan’s part annoys me and I can’t decide if he’s a good guy or a not so good guy. Sometime I’m rooting for him and other times he comes across as a bit of an ass. Regardless of how I feel about Keegan’s character Ms. Frazier’s writing and story telling make it easy to become engrossed by the story and to have clear favorite characters and want to story to end up in their favor.

This was such a good book, I envisioned the main character while I was out walking in my neighbourhood! I am a voracious reader and have been my entire life, and I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF THESE!!!! absolutely well done!!!

I absolutely loved the first book in this series and, if anything, I enjoyed book two even more! I will try not to include any spoilers in this review, but I can’t promise that I won’t give away spoilers from the first book, so please read with caution if you haven’t read book one yet!
This book continues Jeneca’s story as a new domme learning the ropes (pun entirely intended!) with boy-toys that she meets online. However, in book two, Jeneca begins to lose interest in all her boy-toys except one – Keegan, the dominant man looking for a taste of submission that Jeneca first meets in book one. I really enjoyed reading about Jeneca’s progression in this book. In book one, she clings to her need for control in a fearful way, almost as if she is afraid that the world will fall apart if she releases control of the smallest thing. She uses her dominance as a way to keep a huge, impenetrable brick wall around herself to stop any emotions being involved, in the hopes that she will not be hurt again by another man. But in book two, the reader sees Jeneca begin to relax a little as she gets closer to Keegan. In lots of different ways throughout the book we see her starting to relax her grip in certain areas and realising that she can still be a good Mistress to Keegan while not being in control of EVERY little detail in her life. It is good to see her opening up more, even if she is still trying her best to resist intimacy at the moment – but it seems to be happening whether she wants it to or not. I won’t lie, I am hoping that the next step in Jeneca’s journey will see her opening up to the idea of submitting to Keegan. Not because I doubt her abilities as a domme, but because I think it will be really good for her to let go of control for a while, even if she only tries it once, just so that she can learn that the world really won’t end if she is not in complete control. Plus, she has even admitted to wanting to submit to him. You have NO idea how hard I am hoping that she might submit to him in book three, and I can’t wait to read it to find out!
The scenes between Jeneca and Keegan are incredibly hot and well-written, and I absolutely LOVED the power play between the two of them as Keegan struggles to fight his more dominant side while he submits to Jeneca. I think I would have liked to see more from Keegan’s point of view throughout the book, to see how he was adjusting to being submissive over time though. For me, that was the one thing missing in this book. I would have loved to get into his head a bit more. But I enjoyed seeing his efforts to adjust as they are spending more time together and I love the chemistry between these two.
In the background, there is an intriguing plot involving a medical negligence case that Jeneca is working on in her job as a lawyer. But, the twist is that the man she is defending just happens to work for the mafia. The case is not going as planned and this particular plot line seems to be building, adding in a satisfying dose of mystery as a background story to all the kink and the relationship between Jeneca and Keegan. I am seriously looking forward to reading the final book in the series to find out how this plot line concludes, and to see if Jeneca and Keegan get their happy ever after! I really can’t recommend this series enough!

Somehow BJ Frazier "managed" to eclipse the previous book with this gem! Very well written, and with plenty of characters to fall in love with and explore. Jeneca's character growth was wonderful to follow and seeing how she had internal conflicts when engaging with the colorful cast around her. And obviously brimming with so much naughty sexual energy, it was very hard to tear my eyes away from this book. Extremely excited to get to book 3.

The story of a beautiful, successful and last but not least powerful Woman continues. It's almost impossible to write a review on this Book without spoiling too much. Just a few words: The Domme has reached a highly skilled level (the outstandingly hot scenes leave no doubt about it - HALLELUJAH!!!), but is 'just' being a Domme exactly what She is looking for? There is something else inside Jeneca, that cries for Her attention. An inner fight has started.... I can hardly wait to read

This was a good read, as advertised with a plot and well developed characters, while supremely erotic at the same time.
