Texas Ranger Blaine Blackmore works hard to keep Austin safe. And as a Latino ex-gang member, he knows full well heading the Violent Crime Squad often means bending the law to get the job done. But with a major upsurge in brutal incidents, Blaine is convinced a recent release of dangerous prisoners on parole must be the cause.

Hunting down hardened criminals one-by-one, he struggles to maintain order among the rising chaos. And when a vicious arson attack on the Governor's Mansion puts the public at risk, Blaine and his crew take to the streets in a battle to stop the loss of innocent lives.

As the threat of violence paralyzes the city, can Blaine regain control and throw the felons back in jail?

Another cracker

A huge boatload of problems are landed in the guys laps. Tyler is still struggling with his recovery and has a few set backs. As usual the guys are led on a merry dance bringing people to justice.

Great series fun to read full of unique characters with outlandish values but loveable all the same. It's an over achiever as far as a series goes but I'm not bored yet so I read on.

Broken Parole

This book was worth the wait. Blaine and the rest of the Blackmore crew are on the job. Parole violators are something else. A good book to read.

Some people just won’t be helped

What a wild ride that was! I know these are fictional characters, but the unfortunate fact is there are real people out there that these could be based on. Scary thought. Poor Farrell and poor Blaine, it all starts so well, then goes downhill from there. Need the next one now.

Great read. Lots of new characters (parolees) most of whom either end up dead or back in prison. Annie’s lovers sure have problems letting her live and let live.
