Before anyone reads this, they should know that it made me cry. The truth of the book and the whole series will make you cry. There are sad parts to all of the books, but this one makes them sadder.

If anyone felt that there was weird things going on in the series before this book that seemed too fictional , then this book makes those things make sense. I am sad that the series is over, but this book makes me want to do the same things that Stacy does.

The author really puts the story together with this book. I love the way that Paisley can work life, like she can regrow dead plants, make a harvest of food over night. Ribsy’s power is more powerful than Tucker, but Ribsy needs some food afterwords to be able to repeat the process.

Atlas surprised me with the power to control air. He can bring it with him underwater, and Pearl is a wonderfully skilled swimmer like Noah. Pearl is just a stronger swimmer than Noah, she even had to save Noah from saving Stacy. The downside of her power is that she needs that ocean to survive.

I think that this was the saddest yet the best book of the series. It still makes me sad that Addison, Tucker, Pipsqueak and Milquetoast had to stay behind, but Pipsqueak had just recovered from the tundra.

Basil and Wink had headed home with Page and Molly. Molly hated the water and Page just couldn’t come the full way.

One of the saddest things was at the end, when Stacy had to leave the Sentinel’s of the Deep Ocean behind, not knowing when she would see them again.😣

Stacy happily sat curled up in the porthole watching Pearl swim for what must have been close to an hour. The agile wolf never tired, and Stacy never tired of taking in all of the interesting marine life they were passing.

This series just gets cosier with every book. It's adorable. I love how mindful and peaceful Stacy is, the above quote is just the thing I'm talking about. Enjoyed the writing in this one too, I think it's improved with every book; the recap and references to the previous books, the drama, the way each chapter ended, the environmental protection element, giving glimpses of Stacy's future. It all feels more real, even as it gets more fantastical. The ending is well wrapped-up and satisfactory. The one part I didn't like was that the speciesism and fish slander continues from the last book, Stacy said her wolves have "civilized meals" compared to the .

She yearned to pick the baby turtle up and help it down the beach to the ocean, but she knew that his struggle to the water was an essential part of his journey. He needed to fight his way down there to be strong enough to be able to swim.

My reviews for the rest of the series:
Guardians of the Taiga
Escape to the Mesa
Expedition on the Tundra

I did not expect this book to be the last in this series! Even though I wasn’t expecting it, I still think it was a good way to end it. We now know the wolves’ origins, who Stacy’s parents were, and how Stacy plans to get a job when she’s older. The only nitpick I have for this book is how abruptly it ends. But the book does make up for this with an epilogue at the end, so it’s not THAT BAD.

I will probably continue to read this series once a year for a little while because tradition, but nothing could compare to reading these books for the first time. I remember all the way in 2017/2018 when Stacy (the author, not Character Stacy) announced that she was writing a book. When I found out she was releasing signed copies I practically BEGGED my dad to order one, which, surprisingly, wasn’t that much money. And then the next year, I found out that her book tour for the second book was going to end up at a place that was close to where I lived, so down the stairs I went, announcing LOUDLY that I had a chance to meet the YouTuber I’ve watched since I was about 9 or 10. It was an AMAZING night when I got there and she was really nice! When the third book came out I thought it was best that I shouldn’t buy a signed copy. Not because I didn’t want one, but because, if there was someone out there who never got one and managed to get the last signed book available, I would prefer that then owning 3 signed copies. And then the fourth book was announced. It had been a crazy year, so having this to look forward to was a good feeling. After buying the book, I flipped to the last page (a habit I need to break) and saw the bold words THE END. I knew none of her other books had this, so that’s when I realized this was going to be the last.

I really loved this series! It’s a great break from what I usually read, and it brings back good memories from when I bought the books. If anyone asked if I were to suggest this to anyone, my answer would be a definite YES!

Sentinels in the Deep Ocean was such a fun conclusion to the Wild Rescuers series! Stacy does an incredible job of bringing this world and its characters to life. The book was a quick read for me so I know my young nephews will love reading it too. I personally enjoyed all the references to Dogcraft and Mystic Mesa, which are both Minecraft series on Stacy’s YouTube channel. Although this is the final book in this particular series, I hope Stacy continues to write because I can’t wait to see what world she will take us to next!!

The final book of Wild Rescuers. I don’t know how to feel! This book was so great in so many different ways!
1. It has Mystic Mesa wolves!!!! Pearl, Atlas, Ribsy, and Paisley have such cool powers and I am so glad Stacy (the author) choose these 4! I guessed that Pearl would be there because it’s the ocean, but Paisley was a bit of a shock. Still, amazing additions to the world!
2. Art is amazing!!!! It has been amazing through-out all the books, but I feel as if Vivienne To outdid herself!
3. The ending was good! The fact she returned and found Pip all big and fluffy made me laugh.
4. I both enjoy the fact we got to see the wolves separated because we could focus on certain wolves in particular, but it also broke my heart to see that Tucker and Addison got left behind with the cats. And then Wink and Basil left with the dogs. Still, enjoyed the fact we got to learn lots about the Mesa wolves.

One thing to say about this book that annoyed me...
HOW IN THE WORLD DID STACY GET THE JOURNAL BACK AFTER THE SHIPWRECK?!?!! I may have missed something, but I don’t think I did! Even if it was in the Satchel that Paisley retrieved, it would have been soaked and ruined! That is the only thing I have to say that is negative. The fact the journal appears again out of thin air, completely unharmed.

I greatly enjoyed this book and series, even though it is meant for a younger audience. I have been a fan of Stacy for 2 and a half years now and will continue to watch her for quite a while. If anyone is reading this, please watch Stacy’s Minecraft series at StacyPlays on YouTube or watch her live on her Twitch, StacyPlays. My favorites of her Minecraft series are Mystic Mesa, The Candy Isle/Mesa, and Dogcraft. All of those series have characters that are featured in the books.
Remember, Page and Molly love you, go rescue a dog! (Or cat)

This series is good, I enjoy every book and the adventures the pack goes through with Stacy. We are learning more and more about Stacy’s past and each book teaches you a lot. They also help with taking care of earth and caring for everyone/ everything. I also like how each book has a specialist at the end and gives children advice, great touch. I’m looking forward to reading the next ones ...

This series has been a journey. I will admit that I at first I didn’t much enjoy the first book. I really love how deep the wolves get. And THE TWIST AT THE END… was delicious. I really like Stacy. She has grew so much. At the end when they went back home we skipped a few months so it felt rushed but over all very good. Probably my favorite book out of the series.

omg, this is like my childhood series. Dog Craft is something that means so much to me, and over the years of reading this series has just made me so happy. I loved how everything was connected and how nice the ending was. I think while some parts were a little cringey, I’ll always love this series and it will always have a very special place in my heart.

Let me start off by saying I didn't want this series to end but at least it was a wonderful ending to an amazing story. I loved every minute I spent reading this series. It's already nestled a way into my heart, right next to Emily Windsnap and Serafina, where it'll forever stay.
