Nate has the drive to be a top MMA fighter.. he just lacks something else.. and he wonders what until he is in a backyard undergroundish fight against a new comer Scott, he is distracted for a moment when he spots Hope screaming for his opponent.

Enter Hope she and older brother Scott have had couple rough years since their parents died now on the street sleeping in their car, Hope has to watch her brother fight and try to provide something for them. This is how her connection with Nate happens he is already sprung for her and offers her and brother a place to crash. He is a true alpha and promises her he shall always take care of her. Now he has a big moment in the MMA world.. let's see if he can.

I mean, this was just a really short and sweet book- I actually liked how OTT everything was, but I will admit that at times it was just a bit random and awkward.

Sweet insta-love.

This is a sweet insta-love between a girl who is struggling in life and an aspiring of MMA fighter who wont stop at nothing to fight for what matters to him - Hope.

Hope and her brothers are living in his car and having a hard time making ends meet.
But when she finds Nathan, his protectiveness and devotion can change their whole lives.

It was sweet, sexy and safe, as you can expect from this author.

Good

This was a quick and really sexy story. Nate is trying to get a breakthrough in MMA fighting but his coach thinks he doesn’t have anything to fight for. That all changes when he meets Hope at an underground fighting match. She becomes his world and his determination to succeed and give her anything her heart desires. Hope’s life has been hard since her parents died but things start to look up when she locks eyes with the gorgeous man fighting her brother. Both of their worlds change in ways they never imagined.

Completely safe. No ow drama. No major om drama, a big time fighter hits on her a H attacks him for his comments. H’s past isn’t really mentioned and h is a virgin. No abuse.

When Nate is asked the question “what are you fighting for” he thought he had the right answer.. money, fame, etc. That is until the moment he sees Hope in the crowd. He knows his life has changed and will fight with everything he has to give her the life she deserves. Which is Everything!!!

Plot: Hope and her brother have been kicked out of their home and are living in their car. They need something big to help them get back on their feet, so her brother enters an underground fight. His opponent, Nate, has been looking for his break too, trying to figure out what he is fighting for. When he sees Hope, he realizes he was waiting for her all along.

Commentary: I've really enjoyed this entire series. This is the first book in the series, and while you don't really need to read them in order, this one does introduce the frame of the underground fights that pop up in each book. Of course, the relationships in each book are central - the fighting just provides a means to an end. In this case, there was the tension of Hope having to "choose" between her brother and Nate and Nate's ambition to be the best fighter. If you enjoyed this one, you will like the rest of the series.

An insta love story with an up and coming MMA fighter (Nate) discovering a reason to fight and win beyond fame and fortune as soon as he lays eyes on Hope. Hope and her brother Scott are just trying to get by, having been kicked out by their aunt, and meet Nate at an underground fight. Nate swoops in and saves the two siblings, giving them a place to live and a job.

The story had all the trademark steam and heat that I have come to expect from this author, but you can also see how her writing is maturing. There is more to the story than just sheer runaway chemistry, although I freely admit to living for the OTT alpha moments the hero has when someone has the audacity to look at Hope. I love me some caveman moments!

Not enough to like

I didn’t realize this book as so short. It felt extremely rushed and unrealistic. There was no build up or complex storyline. They met. He claimed her as his. He fixed all her problems. He got his dream. The end.
I get the whole OTT male thing but this one sent up more red flags than butterflies. And I need my female leads with a backbone and a personality. The damsel who lets the man solve ALL of her problems while he threatens to kill anyone that so much as looks at her just isn’t my kind of read.

WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.

Nathan is an MMA fighter, Hope is homeless with her brother, Scott. Scott goes to fight in an underground event, for money, where he fights against Nathan. When Nathan looks up he sees Hope and his whole world stops. When the even is over Nathan gets his money then runs after Hope, he sees the way Scott is grabbing her. When he catches up to them he finds out that Scott is her brother. Nathan asks if Hope will go out with him just for coffee. The next day at training Nathan can't stop thinking about his date with Hope, he mets her for coffee. They start talking and when Nathan finds out she needs a job he asks the manager of the coffee shop. Then Nathan finds out she is homeless and he tells her she is staying with him. Hope gets her brother, Scott who doesn't want neither of them to go to Nathan's home. Hope convinces her brother, he stays in the room above the garage. Nathan tells Hope she is taking his bed and he'll sleep on the couch. The next day is Hope's first day and she can't sleep, Nathan comes in to find her pleasuring herself. He takes over for her then they get physical. Three weeks go by and Hope is enjoying her job. She even got her brother a job at the coffee shop, he opens. Hope leaves work and races to the gym everyday to meet Nathan. Finally the day comes when Nathan will be fighting in the GPC, he's been training for two decades for this fight. After he arrives things happen and soon Nathan is fighting the champ in his division for the title and belt. After Nathan wins he grabs Hope and pulls her into the ring with him, he asks her to marry him and she tells him yes. One year later they get married, they have a lot of MMA fighters attend their wedding. Even the president of the GPC is in attendance, he offered then his vacation home and private jet for their honeymoon. Ten years later they have three kids, ten year old Jake, Nora age eight, and Ashton age five. Nathan trains all his children in Brazilian Ju Jitsu or BJJ, they all love to wrestle in the downstairs mats. Nathan defended his title for six years, and retired at age thirty five. Nathan is now retired and loves to hang out with his wife and kids. Hope often wonder how she got so lucky he's the best husband ever.

Fighting for Hope is the story of Hope and Nathan or Nate.

Age gap (29 and 18), insta love, hot tattoo rookie alpha hero, sweet innocent kind heroine. He’s a boxer wishing to become an MMA champion, but for the moment being he does regular matches with rookie fighters. He wins money from those fights and that was the only thing that wanted to make him keep going. Until one night a rookie righter with little to no experience shows up and obviously Nate knocks Scott’s ass but he did it for his sister Hope and to get them by wit the money. But when Nate sees her after the match he finds out they’ve been sleeping in their car and gives her money and in order for her to pay him back he asks her on a date. Man is slick. She says yes because she was the one interested first but this girl is shy. They go and have coffee and they learn more about each other and he learns that she doesn’t have a job and asks his friend to give her one. He does and she’s happy. He finds out she doesn’t have an apartment and he basically states that she’s going to be living with him. She of course says yes to an extent with a temporary offer of her staying for a limited time only. But he says forever since she’s his girl. He claims her that same night when Scott and her moved in. He gets scouted by a GPC scouts-person that his trainer called and he said yes and the day he went there one of the other fighters hit on his girl and he went ballistic and the boss called him up and offered him a place if he could beat the guy he went ballistic on and he said yes and he won by knockout. He asks her to marry him after and that he loves her. Vice versa. HEA and kids, Jake, Nora, and Ashton.

Solid 3.5/5, the plot was good but the unrealisticness was too unrealistic yk what I mean like would you in this 21st century with psychopaths and rapists let yourself say yes to living with a man you’ve only known for less than a day. Lol.

This is the sweetest story. Hope and her brother Scott are sleeping in their car for the past few weeks trying to get in their feet. Nate is training constantly to make it in the big leagues with MMA. Scott goes to an underground fight getting fifty dollars to fight an another fifty if he wins. Scott knows this is no place for his sister and demands she stay in the car and leave if he doesn't come out in a few hours. Impatient she goes in to try to see, when she does she's struck staring at the man fighting Scott. Nate is big, beautiful and covered in tattoos. He looks up and sees her and falls dumbstruck to her innocence and beauty. After the fight Nate gets a date with Hope for the next day, finding or she and Scott are sleeping in their car is unacceptable so Nate insists they stay with him, Scott refuses to stay in the house but takes the room above the garage. Giving up his room for Hope, he's fantasizing in the guest room, sneaking into Hope's room she welcomes him with open arms. Nate takes her virginity and pledges himself and every good thing to her. Nate is a possessive alpha male and everything that Hope needs its a wonderful love story. I voluntarily received an advanced reader copy of this book.

Hope is living in a car shared with her brother, Scott. Desperate to find a job and get some money under their belts to better their situation, her brother enters an underground fighting competition. But what Hope didn’t plan on was the handsome fighter that Scott is matched up with.

Nate is determined to make it to GPC, but his coach keeps telling him he won’t get there until he finds his true reason to fight and to fight to win. That is until the night he agrees to fight in an underground fighting competition. $100 for the win is more than he walked in with, at least that is what he thinks until he lands his eyes on the angel in the crowd.

He is going to do everything in his power to make sure she is safe and that she becomes his.

I love this short insta-everything romance so much - it is definitely an all time favorite of mine by Olivia. All the characters are memorable in their own way and I absolutely love Hope and Nate. Both of them, strong and compassionate in their own ways - and their happily ever after is just perfect!

Hope and her older brother Scott are basically homeless.
Scott comes up with a plan to make quick cash. He is a big guy and doesn't mind a little pain.
Nathan a.k.a Nate is a fighter his goals to win gain recognition and get rich. He is good real good but his trainer Teddy thinks his priorities are off and tells him he needs something personal to win for.
When Scotts plans to make an easy fifty bucks puts Hope and Nate in the same space sparks fly and so do fists.
The attraction is mutual. Scott is skeptical about Nate and his intentions towards his little sister but for Hopes sake comes around.

Quick, OTT/JP Read

I'm reading this story via my ku subscription and am leaving my review voluntarily. It is book 1 in a 6 book multi author series. This story is a quick, fast moving read with an OTT/JP H and shy, young, virgin h. If you don't like insta-lust, sometimes riduculous love connections, this series is probably not for you.

Fast, quick insta-lust story between an up and coming mma fighter who reacts extremely OTT/JP as soon as he lays eyes on the h, a shy/young/virgin who is homeless and living in a car with her brother.

Nate, the H meets Hope, the h, and they both feel a connection. 24hrs later, she and her brother are moving in with Nate. Hope and Nate have sex. Nate also arranged for Hope and her brother to have jobs at a local coffee shop.

HEA.

--- okay, so yes this story has its share of ridiculousness but it's not meant to be life changing. This is the perfect quick escape read when you are short on time. And it's free to read if you have a ku subscription.

Fighting for Hope is book one in the worth the fight series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Nate Cross is an up and coming fighter. He had no time and no plans to find love but that soon changes. Whilst at a backyard fight, he sees Hope and knows she is the woman for him.
Hope and her brother are in a difficult situation. When Hope meets Nate, she falls hard and her and her brother’s lives change for the better.
The chemistry between Hope and Nate is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I liked how possessive Nate was of Hope.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Nate and Hope. Nate is a MMA fighter and when he fights in a backyard match, he sees Hope and knows she is the woman for him. Hope is living in her car with her brother Scott. Scott hears about the fights and thinks it is a way to make money, but he tells Hope to stay in the car. Hope doesn't listen and when Scott sees her, he gets angry, but Nate comes to her rescue. Nate asks Hope to meet him for coffee the next day. Hope agrees and when Nate learns she needs a job, he gets the owner of the cafe to hire her. Nate and Hope have a great date, but when Nate learns Hope is living in her car, he wants her and Scott to stay with him. I really enjoyed this instant love story. I love how protective Nate was of Hope and how he wanted to do anything for her. Another good one.

I knew I was going to love this series. So, to start off I hope you live for love at first sight, possessive, over the top, sexy men who adore their women and treat them right. If you do this is for you! Nate is a mma fighter working up the ranks to make it big. He takes an illegal underground fight for fun where he meets Hope. Insta attraction. Hope and her brother are homeless but obviously Nate is not going to let his woman live on the street, so he invites Hope and her brother to live with him. Sparks fly having Hope under his roof and a HEA to follow. This book is just as expected from Olivia: a sweet, over the top, steamy read to satisfy her loyal readers ♥️

Loved this book

A brilliant read again loved the characters Nate MMA fighter needing something to fight for so his trainer tells him. He goes to a bare knuckle brawl where he finds the girl he needs to fight for. Hope and her brother Scott are down on their luck sleeping out of her brothers car and no jobs Scott goes to the bare knuckle brawl as they need the money when Hope goes to find him he is just going in to fight where she sees Nate and wants him. Nate notices Hope in the fight he has to have her needs to have her. Nate takes both Hope and her brother off the street gives them somewhere to stay and sleep at his place he wasn’t going to let Hope go from him. Nate’s career also takes off but with Hope by his side he always has something to fight for.

This is a great story! I couldn't put it down. It's great for an afternoon read. I love reading anything by Olivia T. Turner. She is fast becoming one of my favorite authors.

Nathan is training to be a MMA fighter but he is missing something. He finds it one night at a fighting event. He is distracted by Hope, who is in the crowd. After his fight, he goes to meet her. Hope and her brother are down on their luck and living in their car. She agrees to a date with Nathan not realizing that it will change her life. Nathan and Hope start dating. Nathan is offered a chance to fight at a MMA event and things don't go as planned. He is given a different option. Will they find their happy ever after?

I totally loved this story. It was short but entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were easy to relate to and likable. Nate was focused on what he wanted in life. His trainer was trying to help him achieve his goals but felt that he needed more. Hope and her brother Scott were trying to find their way. Scott heard of a way that he could make money but didn't want Hope to see what he was doing.
When Hope saw Nate she was instantly attracted to him. Nate saw Hope and everything else seemed to just fade away. Nate decided that Hope was definitely his and he was going to keep her and give her everything. Things don't happen the way that was expected but it was awesome. I loved Nate and Hope's happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Wow Mrs. Turner! You sure know how to write a book :) I love a good MMA insta-love book. We have hope who is living out of a car with her brother Scott. The scene opens up with Hope's brother participating in the ring with Nate (the hero in the story) and BAM! Nate sees Hope in the crowd and the chemistry is off the chart. We see these two fall in love quickly! Nate becomes a national household name down the line and gives Hope everything her heart desires. It's a great read, and you definitely would want Nate as your book boyfriend. He fights for Hope and only Hope. ***5 stars***NOW PURCHASE THE BOOK!
