Susan love her job as the waitress manager at Chiltern Hotel. She has terrific coworkers, and a small but close group of friends. She gave her heart and virginity to someone a few years ago, but he broke her heart. She's decided to be celibate until she meets Mr. Right. Carl just started at the hotel as the new accountant. He's quite taken with Susan, but he doesn't just want a fling with her - he knows immediately that he's in it for the long haul. He has a secret, though. One that he's not ready to reveal until he knows how she feels about him. They fall in love, but she overhears him in a cozy conversation with another employee, and she does what she has to do to protect her heart. Will she ever talk to him again? I think that this is the nicest of the Chiltern Hotel books. Yes, there's romance and just a little steam, but there's a touch of drama, and a happy ending to finish off the book.

Each book in this series can be read as a true stand alone the only commonality in the books is that they are all set at the Chiltern Hotel. This is Susan and Carl's story like all the rest it is a quick rad that you can knock over in under an hour perfect for when you are short on time

Carl is the new accountant at the Chiltern Hotel and he is instantly attracted to Susan the woman in charge of the wait staff in the hotels restaurant. The feeling is mutual and soon they are starting a relationship it is going so well that he even tells her about the fact that he is independently wealthy Things seem to be going well until Susan hears a conversation she isn't meant to a conversation that breaks her heart She pulls away from Carl she won't even answer his text in fact she is even changing jobs to get away from him Will he get a chance to explain or is their future together doomed You will have to read to see

Carl and Susan are wonderful characters. Carl is the new accountant at the hotel. Susan is the head waitress who sees him and is immediately smitten with him. Carl has had plenty of women and he’s tired of one night stands and women only wanting him for his money. Susan didn’t know he had money and loved him anyway. But when she overheard him talking to a young waitress in his office and comforting her she wants nothing to do with him. Carl doesn’t understand what he did or what’s going on. He doesn’t want to give up on them. Will they be able to work out their issues ? Will Susan even give him another chance ? Is what she heard even correct or only part of the conversation ?

I received this as an arc for my honest and voluntary review.

This is the 4th book in the series and the third one I've read. And like the last two, I felt it was lacking what makes books great, but it was better than what I was expecting from the previous ones. Susan and Carl's story has a HEA that readers will enjoy. The author still jumps time without giving the reader much, if any, notice which can be confusing. And there still seems like there is some build-up missing to make the story more believable.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more twists and turns heartache happy endorphins Susan has worked for the company for two years as manager for the wait staff. Carl was employed as head Accountant, it becomes a rollercoaster ride of emotions that makes you wanting more.

This is book four in the Chiltren Hotel series. Susan is happy being a single successful woman until one man in a three piece suit walls through the hotel lobby. Carl walks through the lobby and is the hotel's new accountant. He enjoys starting his day in the hotel restaurant where Susan works, with a cup of coffee and a smile. A really good story with characters that are unsure about their HEA. Enjoy!

Susan is the manager of the waitress in the Chiltern Hotel. She is happy working there.
Carl is the new accountant in the Hotel and since the beginning, his eyes set on a beautiful woman working there too.
The story is short and nice and closes the series. It was really nice to discover a new author to me. Looking forward to reading more books from her.

She loves her job and meeting the guests but No one to love. He is the new accountant and they may be meant for each other. Can they have a relationship? Will there be ups and downs? See if there is a happy ending

This is a short, cheesy (not meant at all in offensive way at all), hearts and flowers romance. It’s a good story.

Sweet

Sweet story of Susan and Carl- little drama, a little character building- but overall a HEA- sweet, fast read. This is the first in the series that I’ve read, even though this is book 4, but I don’t think you need to read the prior books to enjoy this one.

I enjoyed reading about Susan and Carl. I liked both Carl and Susan and am happy that even though there was a big miscommunication they were able to get past that and have their happy ending.

Basic

Read more like a synopsis than a story, little depth and little character detail. A quick read if you don’t want to think to hard or feel much for the characters.

Susan and Carl

Loved this one too. It's a short read, but it's to the point and full. It's hot, steamy and fast paced. Susan is awaiting her prince, Carl, new accountant where Susan works, is ready to settle down.
