Hana is pressed into a marriage meeting with Takane, a scion of a business empire, impersonating her sister to save her father's job! Ready to put that fiasco behind her Hana is shocked that Takane actually seems interested in her! She is exasperated by his immaturity but intrigued despite herself at the fun she has as they try to outwit one another...
It’s been a wild ride up to this point in Takane and Hana’s relationship. And finally this is the volume! I’ve enjoyed the tease but we’ve earned this moment between our warring May-December couple. And it’s sweet! Totally worth the wait! I loved that Okamon was the instigator and made it happen. That’s how you treat someone you love who loves someone else.
Now what?! Well there is her family to deal with... and it’s totally hilarious. Her dad is such a character. He makes such a big deal out of it but at the same time you totally know he loves his daughter. I love the turn of events with the trip too and how just because they’ve gone to the next level doesn’t mean they aren’t still hiding their relationship.
The table tennis scene with the underwear though was my fav this volume. I can’t get enough of Takane and Hana and the lovely romantic example as well as flat out hilarious situations. If you read any shoutouts manga this is the one to pick up! And buy the paper ones... you’ll want to read the volumes again.

Ahhhh finally finally FINALLY!! I’m so happy with the story progression in this volume! I can’t wait to read more and see how the story develops from this point on!

Such a good volume!!
Everything in this was absolute perfection! So many humorous moments, but also moments we have been SOOOOOO desperately waiting for. It was WELL worth the payoff and actually appreciated the previous volume more after reading this one. I think this volume really captured why Hana was so adamant in NOT wanting to be with Takane even though she still liked him. The pivotal moment we see unfold made so much sense and truly felt it was better than anything I thought that moment could be (or be realistic because this IS Takane we're talking about LOL)
The events that unfold after were so wonderful! Massive respect for Hana's Dad (and the mangaka for how she handled the whole situation) and the fun things that happen near the end.
This series has truly been such a delight to read with this volume being one of my favorites!
(For the record, I will always secretly be #TeamOkamon. That is all.)

Ahhh. More of the charming humor that I’ve been missing for the last few weeks.
This one was exactly what the story was needing. I thought everything fitted, even though it seems a little boring and slow. I hope it picks up again.
I’ve firmly decided on the ages that they actually suit (in order not to make their relationship gross). Takane is 22 and Hana is 19. It works so much better than their actual canon ages.

I feel like I'm starting to feel more accepting of Takane and Hana's relationship cause it doesn't feel as predatory as it seems? I don't know it's still weird, but it's not creepy, so I feel a bit better about it.

With every romance series there comes a point where the author can't keep the characters from getting together and then we have to see if the story can continue to function without the will they/won't they tension. The answer for this one is, sadly, "not really." This isn't a bad volume per se, but it also lacks the charm that marked the beginning of the series, and Shiwasu's attempts to make the age gap a bigger deal just don't quite work. If this goes on for many more volumes, it risks being de trop in the shoujo romance catalogue.

After a long spate of nothing happening, it feels like the throttle comes off in this volume and everything happens instead. But does that make for a better story? Ehhh, not necessarily. The drudgery of the dragged out premise has finally left us, but it’s a bummer seeing how far this series has fallen from its initial instalments.
More interaction between Takane and Hana is good, but the edge is well off their relationship at this point.

I devoured the series over the course of a couple of months. Took a little longer than I hoped because a few of them decided to take forever from Amazon. Hana ends up roped into taking her older sisters place in a marriage match never expecting that anything would come from it. Instead a we get a very sweet comical whirlwind romance between her and Takane.
I ended up reading the first one and instantly ordering the rest of them it's such a cute series kind of a enemies to lover romance between them. I loved Hana she's an adorable character and I think because of her I'm going to do bubblegum pink hair next. Each manga has the pair growing as characters. Takane had a lot of growing to do but he get's there eventually.
The artwork is as equally lovely as the story. I was captivated right from the start and fell in love with Hana and Takane's story. This is one of my favorite series that I'm so glad I purchased the set. They will always have a special place on my bookshelf and I know they will get some re-reads as I wasn't ready to say goodbye just yet. I plan to read the authors other manga as I loved this one so much. Highly recommend a perfect sweet romance.

Volume migliore del precedente ma la storia si sta protraendo troppo in là e anche gli scambi salaci tra Takane e Hana non hanno più la freschezza dei primi dieci volumi. Spero non vada avanti ancora a lungo.

This review refers to the 13th volume in this series, if you haven't read the twelve before, I advise you not to proceed.
In this volume, Hana needs to confront with the fact that Takane has declared to have feelings for her. Later on, the whole family goes on a trip to Okinawa with Takane, so they need to pretend to be in-laws.
We've finally reached the actual point of the plot: how are Takane and Hana going to deal with their age difference. I'm glad the writer isn't ignoring it but at the same time, I don't think she'll deal with it in a serious way, and it's not even the purpose of this manga, but she's still dealing with it, which is great.
We don't see much of the other characters in this, although most of them do show up, like Rino and Okamon, for a scene. It's a pity but equally understandable if we're reaching climax as it seems to be the case.
I think this is a manga that has kept a steady rhythm and there's no reason to stop reading now. On the contrary, because the moment to solve the main problem finally has come. As a whole, I think this series started with a better proposal of betraying the clichés but it's kept the lovely characters along thirteen whole volumes and I'm very glad I started it because keeping going was easy.

UGH finally! Alright, I really enjoyed this series until the last book (Vol. 12) because everyone was acting pretty wild, but this book puts that one into perspective, and Hana finally realizes she was being stupid. It was like a rollercoaster up until this book, with the last one being the flighty out of control feeling right before that big drop. Then this book is that drop that you scream "YEAAAH! That weird feeling right before the plunge was worth it!"
I had a lot of mixed feelings from the previous book but this one made it all better. Takane and Hana are pretty terrible for each other- they're both selfish, hot headed, stubborn, aggressive people that love to jab at each other, never mind the ever-present age gap. But it's a very fun relationship to view and the humor is top notch. The character development from everyone was satisfying, and I warmed up to some characters I didn't much care for. All in all, a nice tie-together of all the chaos, trauma, and soap-opera-ish drama from the last storyline.

Okay, obviously, by volume 13 we’ve decided we aren’t going to spend too much time on the cringy premise- so that aside, I loved this. Finally we see how their love can bloom. They still have their problems and the comedy is great, as always, so it’s enough to keep you interested. I just feel like the author does so well with getting to the real feelings while still being funny. I mean, all the awkwardness, the embarrassment, she totally remembers what it was like to be in high school. I love this series and I’m a dedicated fan that who’ll keeeep reading.

Perché con due protagonisti esagitati come Takane e Hana non si può mai sapere, però le cose si sono fatte più chiare, visto che il nostro businessman preferito si è sforzato di fare una vera dichiarazione - non una delle sue smargiassate egocentriche, ma una dichiarazione sincera che dà voce in maniera profonda ai suoi sentimenti. Alla buon'ora. Adesso vedremo come procederà la storia e come evolverà il rapporto tra i due.
Adesso la coppia deve innanzitutto ottenere l'approvazione delle rispettive famiglie, a partire dal padre di Hana, non troppo entusiasta delle sparate del futuro genero: diciamo che la famiglia della ragazza si dimostrerà favorevole alla cosa, tanto più che Takane non ha intenzione di tarpare le ali di Hana, ma vuole lasciarla libera di costruire il suo futuro. Probabilmente le cose potrebbero farsi più complicate quando verrà il momento di parlare con il nonno di Takane. Lì ci vorrà una strategia efficace per evitare il disastro.
Il volume si chiude con la famiglia Nonomura (+ Takane) in partenza per una vacanza di tre giorni ad Okinawa: questa sarà una buona occasione per passare del tempo insieme (anche se, per non creare problemi, i due dovranno farsi passare per cognati davanti al resto dei viaggiatori della loro comitiva) e approfondire ancora di più i loro sentimenti.

Ahh, after not loving the last two volumes, I'm back to being completely sold on this adorable couple! Great stuff! My faith is restored, and it is fabulous! Overall, fantastic volume! So worth reading. 5 stars.

Yet again, my world is literally collapsing around me because of a BOOK. I never thought I'd be into manga and YET
This is maybe the 15th manga series that I've stuck with and absolutely loved so much. I cannot
Anyway.
This series, overall, is just so good. The author, in the first book, wrote that she wanted to write a series that could go on volume after volume on the momentum of just the characters and WOW has she done that. Takane and Hana, by themselves, would be enough but together they could literally power a country with their banter and tension and jokes and whatnot.

In questo volume tutto è perfetto sia per quanto riguarda la differenza di età sia per tutto il resto!
Non ci sono cose strane tipo rapimenti o cose così. Tutto è normale e stupendo.

These to finally have confess their feelings to each other their real feelings! And have made it official they are officially a couple pass just the arrangement that they have been having. The whole moon scene was so sweet made me with tears of joy and I love the story behind the translation in English I love you to be said as the moon is beautiful. Hana’s dad is gifted a trip so whole family goes to Okinawa. After taking their baths they play with other guest at the hotel table tennis which Hana’s bathrobe comes loose and she flashes her shirt and underwear. Then Takane covers her protectively while yelling for no one to look. The whole scene had me busting up lol

Ce tome sonne le début d’une nouvelle ère ! Takane et Hana se mettent enfin en couple ! Après treize tomes à nous faire attendre, ils vont aller à leur premier rendez-vous officiel !
S’agissant d’eux, rien ne se passe jamais comme prévu mais j’ai trouvé cette scène très mignonne surtout qu’on voit qu’ils restent tout de même sur la réserve !
Dans la seconde partie, toute la famille de Hana ainsi que Takane partent pour des super vacances qui leurs ont été offertes ! Comme vous pouvez vous en douter, cela va encore donner lieu à des situations drôles !
Un tome que j’ai adoré ! Je me plonge tout de suite dans la lecture du tome 14 qui est à ce jour le dernier paru ! ♥

I loved this volume especially the family vacation and the comedy surrounding it and the revelation of lie made by Hana involving relationship issues in volume 12 to truth later on volume 13.
As a result, this lead to the true devotion of Takane and Hana through their character development and understanding. Can't wait to see what happens to them next.

An all out sushi battle between Takane and Okamon? I'm in! The story heats up as Takane gets more comfortable saying what he feels. In the meantime, Rino has given Hana some advice. How she takes it is fun to watch. The story keeps getting better, as I'm starting to see a really human side to Takane which I love to watch develop.

Yes! What we've all been waiting for. They made it official :) Of course they still have their struggles, embarassing moments and little fights the plot is steaming ahead! Now how will they tell Takane's grandpa? Can't wait for the next volume!
