Betrothed to two dragons I hate... But someone else is calling to my animal. Angelica is what everyone at Academy of Fire and Ash insists on calling AJ. They’ve made it clear she’s not welcome there since she’s half wolf and half dragon. She’s only there because she’s betrothed against her will to King and Draven, two males who dominate the school—some would say they own it. Until she meets him...her true mate, right there at the place she hates, among fiancés who hate her even more. Even her half human roommate, Emily, can fly a little, but AJ has never shifted to anything but her wolf. Which makes getting around the academy challenging some days and passing PE impossible. When she meets her second mate, the heat rises to flames, but if AJ can’t shift to dragon or fly, how will she ever have a mating flight? Preferably with her chosen mates and not the ones selected by her less-than-understanding parents.
Academy of Fire and Ash is a new series featuring AJ, a character many readers have already met in The Lycan Academy. It is a slow-burn why choose romance.
Mazzy J. March is a fan of all things paranormal--shifters, vampires, witches...dragons and all the many creatures that inhabit the world beyond the ordinary. She has been plotting her Academy stories for a long time and is thrilled to finally have them releasing and ever grateful to the readers who are offering such support and helping her dreams come true.
We have AJ who was attending Lycan Academy. She is told she has to leave and is betrothed to King and Draven that are dragons. Her father tells her she has to attend Fire and Ash Academy. What will she do? She had never shifted to her dragon only her wolf. Will she ever shift? Can she get out of the marriage? What will happen when she meets her mate? She so wants to go back to her old school? The only friend she has is Emily who is half dragon and half human. No one wants her there either. Can they save each other? Can they make something of themselves? Why is her father forcing this on her?

This is a great slow burn why choose tale that will have you hooked from the start! It’s fast paced and well written with an addictive storyline and great characters and I look forward to reading more!

AJ is taken to school where is will be know as the not being a full dragon and they will be ready to look down at her. They give her a roommate and the worst room. She can't stand the men in her life. AJ and her roommate are doing they best they can in this school. She sees a boy that calls to her wolf. He comes over and talks to her. There is also another boy that the same thing happens. AJ will have to fight to the two dragons her father promised her too, there is more to that story. She will slowly learn about her mates. This was really good, it was a fast paced, well written story. Can't wait to see what is going to happen with AJ, her mates, her friend and if her friends Lycan Academy come to help.

Meting out incredible, well rounded scenario's, ramping up the adrenaline and exuberance with such intensity and precision, blasting this baby to life spectacularly. The attraction and chemistry sizzles exposing an undeniable affection and a deep connection, alluring and mesmerizing, binding them to one another perfectly. The characters are authentic and original with qualities and traits that transforms into amazing personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and colorful descriptions so rich and lively, they blend and flow smoothly. Remarkable job Mazzy, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.
Well the mystery of AJ has finally been solved she disappeared from the Lycan Academy and Nora feared that she had been killed by a demon turns out she was half dragon and her unpleasant father sold her to uppity self absorbed pieces of trash the duo of evil Draven and King they have prestige and AJ her dad wants that he's got money but he's not as important as he would like. So now she's at the Dragon Academy of Fire and Ash this place is the dumps everyone including AJ's betrothed treat her like crap and know body seems to care what the students get up to in the halls all kinds of kinky stuff ugh and Dragons think there better then everyone. On the positive side AJ her new roomate Emily is really nice and she may have just found her real mates Weldon and Bengii there way better then the losers her dad found. AJ needs to get in touch with her friends quick maybe get to know her boys and possibly stop a death plot against her. Not to mention she's kinda useless at channeling her inner Dragon.

AJ is half wolf/half dragon and has been enjoying the Lycan Academy until her father suddenly tells her that she is now betrothed to two dragons she hates! Also, she won’t be attending Lycan Academy anymore – he has signed her up for Academy of Fire and Ash. AJ is a shifter but has only ever shifted to her wolf. So surrounded by dragon shifters, she is not going to fit in.
As AJ struggles and worries about how her inability to fly will be a problem, not only at school but if she is forced to engage in the mating ritual. She sees a boy and feels a call to her wolf as he comes over to talk to her. Someone else also affects her in the same way. She will be forced to fight to the two dragons her father picked out, but she will have time to get to know her own mates, if she survives long enough!
This was a good story, fast-paced and intriguing. I look forward to seeing how AJ prepares for what she knows she will have to face. Will she get any help from anyone? Or is she in this struggle alone?
Our heroine is a half-wolf, half-dragon and while she was happen at the Lycan school, her father decided she had to go to the Dragon school (naturally). Tough times ahead for our heroine.
This is a spinoff from the author's lycan series, but it stands just fine on its own. It is not necessary to have read the other series first.
The story is well written and easy to read, yet with a rather complex and twisted plot involving more mates than I care to count. The characters are well developed and interesting, with distinct personalities that set each apart and bring the story to life. The setting is also interesting, not just an academy, but more of the world as well. I did like our heroine as she tries to make the best of a bad situation. The overall story was a little angsty for my tastes, but it was good nonetheless and I am intrigued to see what comes next.
Recommended.

AJ is half wolf have dragon shifter. But she’s never shifted to a dragon. She’s betrothed to 2 male dragons against her will and then sent to a new school because her finances go there. She wants nothing else but to go to her old old school, Lycan Academy. But then she meets her true mate and things look up slightly. And when she meets her second mate, well there starts her harem. She still has to navigate the normal pressure of school life but at least she has one friend, Emily, and her mates. If only she could learn to fly and pass PE. This story is interesting and fairly unique. I really liked that AJ was a wolf/dragon shifter. This book is fast paced and easy to read. I’ll definitely read the next one because I want to see what will happen!

It starts of as a little confusing and it takes a couple of pages to settle into the story.
The plot overall is consistent with a quite common story line where one super rich illegitimate child is betrothed by her father to 2 of the societies catches but the guys and girl don't like each other. More over she discovers that she has 2 other mates.
The story takes a spin when this girl is removed from her school for lycan shifters and sent to a school for Dragons, because she is half wolf half dragon.
So though the book was interesting, there was nothing new about the plot. I'm seriously hoping that something new will open up in the next book in this series.

I loved this story and Mazzy J. March has another hit on her hands with this one but sorry guys I’m not going to give any spoilers because the blurb says it all actually it says it better than I ever could and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. It’s very well written an entertaining story with fantastic characters and storyline and this is a follow on from The Lycan Academy series and this is AJ’s story and I hope that she kicks the asses of the two dragons that have been betrothed to her horrible dragons. This is a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
AJ is a young 1/2dragon/1/2wolf woman whose father has suddenly sent her to dragon school even though she can't shift to a dragon and has also promised her to two dragons there as a mate. They don't want her but want her daddy's money so are not nice to her. She has found her true mates also at the school. Her true mates will need to protect her from what her promised mates have planned for her. She has one friend at the school because the dragons there don't care for half breeds.
Oh my Goddess I love these characters except the a-hole king and his sidekick. I can’t believe her father is such a horrible dragon and the step mother is even worse. Like lady blame your horny can’t keep it in his pants husband not the child that didn’t ask to be born. I need more information about the other mate. I hope her dragon comes out and she gets to mate with her Actual mates instead of the Psychos, losers.
I thought this was a good start and a slightly different take on fated mates with the FMC forced in to a betrothal with other men.
The characters I thought could have been a bit deeper in personality, I dont know they were just missing a little something for me. I'm hoping this is explored further in the next book so I'm going to stick with the series and see how it pans out from here!
Betrayed by Dragons by Mazzy J. March is a book I have loved reading and can not get enough of. This is book numbr one in this series that I have loved reading and can not wait for book number two. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about paranormal romances.

Mazzy's writing is very gratifying. I love all the characters and their development. I am looking forward to the next installments. I could never imagine myself as anything but a half breed in one of these storylines...that's the only way to be: someone who has more choices!♡♡♡
This book pulled me in and kept me entranced till the end. The feelings of love, hate, and pain coming out in waves making you want to cry while you read. This was such a beautiful book! I loved the characters wholesomeness!

I am really liking the storyline so far. I didn’t understand the betrothal stuff when they also speak about true mates, but I guess powerful people like to merge with other powerful people. I can’t wait to see how AJ manages to end her betrothal!
Interesting backstory on AJ after her disappearance in book three of the howling series. Although the demon took credit for abducting her so a little loss of continuity. Still good reading.
I don't know how I feel about this... I felt so rushed and stitched together, just a lot of rambling. I'd say I didn't feel the chemistry between the characters but what can I expect in 100 pages. It could have been great but sadly it was not. I did finish the book so I can't fail it. 2,5 stars.
So hard to put down! I love the expansion of the author’s world into Dragon school. Excited to see how these characters develop. AJ and her mates are going to be fun!
Such a really great book and I couldn't put down at all. The entire story and characters had me intrigued and hooked from the very beginning. Can't wait for more of this.
I thought the story was very well written and flowed well. The story kept me glued to the pages to see how everything would turn out. I loved the characters and had this read in one sitting.
