I'm loving these Old School Romances from Elsa Miles. This time we have the story of Nick and Libby. Libby is working hard to set up her own business. In the meantime, she is working for Nick as his personal assistant. The only problem is that after her estranged stepsister Roxanne lost her job with Nick because she tried to get him into bed and then accused him of sexual harassment, she wanted to make sure that she couldn't be seen in the same way. She has worked there, dressed in drab clothing and hiding behind thick glasses, keeping from Nick who she really is.
I really enjoyed the way that this romance progressed, with Nick finding himself drawn to both Libby as she appears in his office and the Libby that he met without realising who she really was.
The romance between them is great and although there are a few misunderstandings along the way, there isn't anything that feels too forced or unnatural for the sake of the plot. Nick and Libby make a great couple. It takes them a while to get there, but I enjoyed following their journey, every step of the way.
I can't wait to read more of these fantastic Old School Romances. Just the kind of thing that I've been in the mood for lately
