The story reared off a cliff, took all the side characters from the school and replaced them with magical animals that barely gets dialog. So far other than the idea to start the book, there hasn't been any promising development in the story or characters. If I wanted to read about a 12 year old boy and his imaginary friend, I wouldn't have picked up a book, I would have went to watch the Teletubbies.

This volume makes a lot of mistakes besides the usual ones.

Tons of plotholes happen.
MC and other characters just do not give a f about things they should definitely care about. All due to lazy writing.
A lot of things happen without any buildup, or establishment.
