Me & Coffee

Rate this book
Me & Coffee is a poetry collection about love, broken hearts, lost and found. This poetry collection captures the reality of a love life, a heavy reality story after the breakup. Love poems for people who love someone, but don't end up together. A cup of coffee and blank paper such as a partner, helping to overcome emotions, the feelings deep within while waiting for the loved one to come home. At some point, there comes a realization when time slaps with reality. Time to let go of what has been lost and accepted that there is no way going back, but move on even though with a heavy heart. In the end, it's worth it.

Ok so the first half of the book was repetitive and the only emotions it evoked were frustration! But towards the second half I really appreciated the growth and self care!!! It’s so important to know your worth, especially when you’re in a relationship! If you don’t, you allow yourself to be loved at whatever percentage they give you! If they only love you 30% you’re okay with that because you accept the love you think you deserve, but in reality you deserve so much more which is why before getting into a relationship you should have a healthy sense of love for yourself! Giving it a 3 star review because it wasn’t terrible but it also wasn’t the best!

*Screams from the rooftops* Yay, I found another poetry that I really enjoyed on Kindle Unlimited! Me & Coffee is a great read during a coffee break or lunch break. I've had my heart broken a lot throughout my life and the poems included here I could really relate to. I felt both happiness and sorrow by the end. If you use KU, consider adding this one to your libraries!

I was amazed by the depth of emotion the writer has penned for heartbreak. Maybe I haven't gone through a similar ordeal which made it hard for me to connect with the text. But yes, great depth and the optimism in the end was the highlight, atleast for me.

'Dark' & 'Bitter' is bucin, only 'Sweet' is actually useful for broken heart people.
I consider to stop reading at page 22 after I read "I should have loved you harder before just to make you stay." What? Or "This feeling like suicide." HUH?? If somebody don't want to stay in your life, let them go. You can't force people to stay, it just will give you even more pain. Love yourself.
Or page 75 "tried my best to hold on tight to make you mine again." super bucin. This people hurts themself on purpose.
I want to read poems in English by Indonesian writer lately, but this one is not for me. Or another book by Agustin 'Deep Wounds', I don't enjoy it either. I wondering is this the author favorite genre? Writing about broken heart? Definitely not my favorite. Her works is not for me.
Sorry for the bad reviews.

Well tentunya terlalu lama baca bukan karena malas atau apa, tapi for me personally buku Me&Coffee ini memiliki setiap makna yang dalam dari setiap partnya, bahkan setiap kata2nya. Tidak hanya tentang love, tapi kita dibawa kedalam suasana yang broken heart, lost and found, hingga try to accept the life should be, dimana terkadang love yourself first itu lebih penting sebelum we love each other. Salah satu poerty book yang worth untuk dibaca tentunya, terima kasih sudah menghadirkan karya yang begitu dalam, bermakna, dan indah untuk dibaca. Sukses terus kak Dika, ditunggu karya selanjutnya.

Such a beautiful masterpiece. For me personally, Me & Coffee is more than just a book, but about life experience; in life there is happiness, sadness, love and h e a r t b r e a k. All those feelings are in this book. Poetries about broken heart, but beautifully written. All I can say is, this book is a book that everyone must have. Love ♥️

It was an okay read for me. Some very well written pieces but I found it hard to relate to. Also came across quite a few grammatical errors.
