What do you get when you put William and Thomas together? A boatload of adventure, that’s what! Just when the neighbours thought it was safe to head outside, William has other plans. William and Thomas are ten-year-old boys that know how to have fun. From outrageous stunts to spectacular pranks, the boys will keep you guessing. Will anyone be safe? This early middle-grade collection of short humorous stories is designed to put a smile on your face. Or at least a grin. Warning! William and Thomas are professional kids, and all stunts, pranks, and shenanigans should not be attempted. You’ve been warned!
Mark Gunning is a children’s author (and retired educator) who believes that the weirdest ideas make the best stories. Based in Niagara Falls, Ontario, he traded in classroom chaos for barking dogs (Chewie and Ozzie) and the daily question, “What’ll the boys do next?” His books—like The Adventures of William and Thomas and the upcoming Itchygooney Mysteries series—mix laugh-out-loud moments with heart, because he knows kids will forgive almost anything… except boring chapters. When he’s not dreaming up mischief for William and Thomas, you’ll find him hiking the Niagara Gorge, playing slo-pitch, or convincing his guitar to hit the right chords. If you spot a swirl in the grass, look twice—it might just be the Mark of the Itchygooney Witch.
This is a fun book about Thomas and Williams many devious plans. These boys sure know how to get into mischief. Many young kids will get a good laugh and new ideas from this book.
The Adventures of William and Thomas: The Journey Continues is packed with hilarious moments and nonstop excitement. William and Thomas turn even the simplest day into a wild, laugh-out-loud adventure. The crazy stunts, epic fails, and big imagination make this story impossible to put down. It’s a perfect choice for kids who love humor, action, and over-the-top fun. Great for reluctant readers, this book keeps them engaged from start to finish. A fantastic and energetic addition to the I Told You So! series!
This book is full of fun activities and silly jokes kids will love. There are MANY opportunities for self expression. It's quite clear the writer has spent a lot of time with kids and can truly relate to their sense of humor.
William and Thomas are back for another set of zany adventures in this hilariously-entertaining read! I’ve always thought there should be more relatable books like this for boys and the author nails it. Silly-fun and never a dull moment, I highly recommend to elementary/middle-grade kids. Two thumbs up.
This is the first book I have read so far. Kids will enjoy the funny and silly antics and bad pranks these boys planned. Enjoyable characters and plot.
