Five guys from a former boy band, all trying to figure out what’s next, finding love where they didn’t think to look.
Scorch-4 stars-Blake is feeling stuck with meeting his parents’ expectations, while Elion is his touch of sanity. Their relationship is a light for Blake, where he becomes his true self, on camera and off. His reality dance show and his studio being them both a way to be together.
Spark-3 stars-Joey has to live with his parents until he gets another job, with his Dad and brother’s homophobia, and his Mom’s silent suffering. Gabe owns a car repair shop, and with Joeys old car a mess, they get to know each other. Joey finally finds a way out from under his Dad, and he and Gabe become their own family, with kids in their future.
Burn-4 stars-Raiden has someone invading his privacy online, so his parents hire Levi to protect him. At first, neither of them take the threats seriously, but things escalate, and Levi has to keep Raiden under the radar. Tough, when Raiden is collaborating with and promoting a new band under his label. Sparks fly and the relationship grows, almost in spite of these two. Raiden’s such a playful guy, it’s sweet how Levi’s so worried about him.
Steam-3 stars-Trent has to visit his Dad and try to repair their relationship. Ashby is wounded and lonely after being controlled by his ex boyfriend. They help each other navigate at the hotel, listen to each other’s woes, and find each other in the end.
Blaze-5 stars-My favourite story was Reyse’s, the last one, since he and Corey aren’t allowed to be together, but keep drawing closer with every turn.
Reyse has a great career, but his label won’t let him cone out. He and Corey connect, and Corey keeps his secret. They start out as a hookup, but things grow between them. Corey is there for Reyse with his family, and never makes things harder for him.
Love Reyse’s aunt and his new label and festival.
