Nephilim Suha Miller has spent his entire life being forgotten by everyone, normally until people can blame him for something or dump problems on him. But that’s okay, since he likes his life of solitude, fiction, and a profession that involves pretty and fun. When he finds out his mate is one of the sexy and coveted Sethos brothers, he knows it’s stupid to hope things will be different, but no one is ever smart in love.
Dex Sethos can’t believe that the sexy Suha is his mate. From the moment his name was drawn in the lottery he’s been excited, but after finding no one seems to know Suha he’s starting to wonder if he was mated to a ghost. No, definitely not. He’s quirky, and absolutely keeping secrets, but that’s okay since they have all the time in the world to get to know each other.
Except Dex starts forgetting his mate… And he’s not a forgetful guy. What is going on with him? More importantly—is there any world in which Suha can forgive him for all he’s done?
Rating: 3 stars I had given up on reading this author, but the premise of the story sounded interesting and it was on KU, so I gave it a try. Reading this made me remember why I had given up on this author. It felt like I was constantly being lectured throughout the story. So while parts of the story were interesting, I just wish the author would find a more subtle way of putting her message across.
I love this series. The world and concept are so unique. The characters fantastic. And I loved that while this is a long series, each couple has a unique hurdle to cross. Definitely reccomend this and the whole series and cant wait till the next book.
Really good and totally unique with the curse. Everything happens for a reason type of story. Now we need Castillos novella to see how it works out with him
I was so excited to find another Hounds of Hell book, I always read up at these as there is always a character who is misunderstood or bullied or communication issues but they always work through it
