FPU agents are stretched thin trying to locate the missing as well as find the next port of call for an elusive adversary. Friends and family are asked to assist in multiple ways as couples realize the things that truly matter between them. For some though, almost too late. Can their young relationships survive the chaos?
Timing is crucial and every second counts. Leave it to Gerri to stop the clock and match an unsuspecting male in a way he can’t resist. The bad guy might just have to wait.
Another mini-mystery comes to conclusion in this seventh installment of Making Waves, but not before the family grows again. This time, by a few.
A great ending to this mini mystery! I loved how everything was wrapped up and how all the previous and new characters were tied together. I enjoyed the update at the end how everyone was doing! Can’t wait for more mysteries and match ups.
FPU agents are stretched so thin trying to find those who are missing as well as the next destination for their elusive adversary that they have to rely on friends and family to pick in and help too. A side effect of that is that many of the couples start to realise what truly matters to them, although some of the younger members are almost too late - can their young relationships survive? Timing is crucial and every second counts. Leave it to Gerri Wilder of the PDA to stop the clock and match an unsuspecting male in a way he just can’t resist. The bad guy might just have to wait.
This was a great culmination to the second mini-series within the Making Waves series. I enjoyed the way that Gerri managed to match up a couple as part of the story. I did find Taylen very irritating as she seemed to be so focused on her agenda and her needs that overall she was behaving in a very selfish way. I loved the couple that Gerri managed to match in this story and look forward to reading more about them in any future books in the series. Easy to read and understand. Contains a little explicit sexual content at the end.
Really enjoying this series it's a great mix of paranormal romance, detective work and the importance of family and fun. While this series is within the PDA Group of stories I'd say they fall between the PDA and FPU.
Only negative the last couple of books have been really fast paced and switching between different POV's perhaps just a subtitle with the Name from which POV the next section is viewed from or could an extra sentence or two lead into the next persons view.
I liked the fast pace particularly towards the end but just felt it needed more sections at a slower pace e.g. In the first set of books in the series where we really got to know the characters at a normal pace and then there were sections which were faster paced during action activities.I
Keep up the great work and I hope we get a long series in Making Waves based across the FLU and PDA stories
The mystery behind the ocean cannabis and the human trafficking is finally solved. Leave it to Gerri Wilder to try and matchmake even in the middle of a fast-paced FPU case. Dr. Scott and Andrej are finally back together and are about to embark on a journey of love without Andrej's elemental 'magic'. Fedya Afanasi and Marietta are finally going to get the chance to know each other as mates rather than agent and witness. All the previous couples Omen & Rox, Addian & Fynn...ect they can hopefully finally get some down time without someone always calling needing help.
I will say, I really really got annoyed at Taylen and her single-mindedness to figure out how to get rid of the plants. I get it. As a botanist it's her job and something she's probably fascinated with. But I can't understand how she thought Andrej wouldn't come to find her and knowing the danger that is lurking trying to kill her and he is basically a mortal that he wouldn't get injured running after her.
Fantastic conclusion to this phase in the series tying up all the lose end in this mini-series. The mystery continues as all the couples and friends rush to stop the bad guys before it's too late. Bouncing between different point of views you get to see the story unfold from different angles. As they fight to make the water safe again and reunite with loved ones the story wouldn't be complete without Gerri using her talents to bring together two fated mates. While this brings this plot to a close, I can't wait to see where the series goes next as hinted in the pages.
Yay!! We have Gerri!!!! I had to know what was going to happen so I read it last night and finish veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery late (or early, lol) I loved to see Gerri using her mojo to bring couples together in the middle of a huge mystery, only her could do that, lol. This book brings all the couples to define their relationships and to analyze and refocus on what is important, we get to see friends from the whole 7 books and the mystery is nicely wrapped. Awesome story!
This book is best read if starting from Making Waves book #1 of the series. I have to admit I was a little lost at first, but the more I read, I loved it. I gave it 5 stars because there was a lot of action through the whole and kept me wanting to read more. I'm looking forward to starting at the beginning.
Learning to trust not easy for all. Others bound by unbreakable family. Together answers can be found in time. Each meeting their perfect match in the amazing adventure along the way.
"It was indeed a great ending. Setting the passion and spice aside, the author did an outstanding job pitting everything back in order. Slowly things fall into place, eventhough there were more surprises! Danger was expected and it had me on the edge. Yeah, my romantic side is happy too."
Overboard is a satisfying conclusion to the mysteries and budding romances from the previous two books. This suspenseful paranormal romance is a fast-paced adventure. I enjoyed the character development and although everything is tied up neatly at the end I hope to read more about the couples.
The mysterious plants and their 'gardeners' have been discovered. The FPU's case concludes while Gerri decides that an agent gets his happily ever after unsuspectingly.
Continuing story from the previous two books in the Federal Paranormal Unit crossover series. Enjoyed it but much darker than your usual Paranormal Dating Agency book.
The wrap-up of this mini-mystery brought out some surprises, danger, and revelations. Fedya's syntax brings some light humor to the mix. I did enjoy getting to know these characters.
