I read this book a long time back and forgot to annotate it, which is why sadly there are no quotes and this review is so brief. Sorry for that, but the book is too short for me to write a proper review.
There were 3 short stories in this book. I didn't find any of them outstanding, and they mostly made me feel underwhelmed. I've read better stories by Ruskin Bond before. Regardless, this was not an all bad read.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stories and I absolutely adore the illustrations.
Love the third story the most. It's still one of my all-time favourite stories ever as it's been also included in our school syllabus years ago. It still holds a special place in my heart.
Go for this collection and read with the kids. They will love it.
This book has three beautiful and heartwarming stories of childhood, peppered with endearing characters. The stories will leave you with a feeling of warmth. You'll at once yearn for your childhood. There is innocence of childhood that can make you take bigger initiatives. It doesn't matter you succeed or fail. The thing that matters is you take a responsibility, and try every possible way to complete the task. And there's a story about a hilarious moment caused by failure of proper communication, that turns into rumours. The third story teaches that how human values and relations are important in life and how these can change a person. These three stories are full of adventures and misadventures, and come with good message for children. Illustrations are highly attractive that make the stories come alive. This is a perfect book for children.
