This was a dark twisted book that I liked a lot. Pearl is a stripper who needs money she accepts $100,000 to work at a gentleman's club to be a fox. This book had some really good dark scenes in it and a lot of good twisted sex scenes. When she arrives at the club all of her things are taken and she has no contact with the outside world. The billionaires are sick and twisted and they have a habit of making the foxes disappears. This was my first time reading this author this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading book 2.

Dark. Disturbing. Delicious. Logan Fox takes you through dark depths and insane highs. Rapture and revulsion all rolled into one. I was sore when I finished reading, I had gotten so tense.
Pearl was easy to love, despite losing patience with her once or twice when she didn’t take action as swiftly as I wanted her to. Seth broke my heart as did Gia. Annoying as hell, batshit crazy Gia… Her I loved too. There were so many great characters. Some were easy to love, some easy to hate, almost all of them surprising you at some point in the story.
It all still feels real as I write this, half wanting to look up news articles about the whole thing or find the documentary online. Despite having to stop and pick it back up a few times as life got in the way, I got pulled in completely again within a page or two. Not something every author can do. I am definitely going to read Hush Money too because I want to find out more about the girls, but damn, I think I need to let this sink in first. What a ride.

A disturbing composition of unbelievable abysses and longings, nowhere near abstract every time confusing, captivating and credible - incredibly profound and comprehensible - It leaves you a little helpless, shocked and paralyzed in the end, but to me the desire to know how Perl brings Owen down. Oh this curiosity and desire for poetic justice, revenge or repayment will not let you rest, just like the more than 700 pages of this book.

Good attempt overall
This story had great potential that has been wasted half way through. It attempted, unsuccessfully in my opinion, to combined different genres erotica with thriller, suspense, mystery and paranormal. It could have worked exceptionally well had it been there balance between different components.
The story spans over 3 books combined together. The 2/3 of that are detailed descriptions of sex and BDSM practices. The background story is there but fades away at times becoming an unimportant addition. That for me was a big let down. The story idea was there but not well thought out. Writing style was a bit unbalanced and over the top in descriptions at times. The last few chapters were packed with too much unnecessary action and angst. The ending of the story was inconclusive and leaving more questions than answers. Very unsatisfactory.
As far as the characters were concerned Pearl the main female character was so unbelievably stupid and naive it was just frustrating at times. I did not get attached to her character. There is very little on the characters from prequel, which I think is a shame, I did want them to be more actively and meaningfully involved in the story. The connection between Greg and Pearl not convincing or real with their epilogue just another sex scene to add to the long list of similar.
So overall, although I had great expectations after reading the prequel, the story left me with "is that it, really?" feeling, quite unfulfilling and bit frustrating, as my hopes for a fantastic story turned into dust.

First there’s a lot of sex, not just sex but BDSM and kink. Be prepared for that.
Second it s a great story. You could remove the sex and it’s still a great story. I actually miss the characters as I finished the book a couple of days ago and just now had time to write this review.
Pearl, damn girl I loved you. I did predict a bit of what happened but I was also surprised by a lot of it too.
Seth, hummmm I don’t even know what to say. Parts of you I loved and so did Pearl.

Definitely for mature audience!
Look beyond the sex, the abusive nature of the acts, the depravity of the scenes to the real untold and heroic story that lies beneath the words. I understand this was a work of fiction and maybe fantasy but underneath this can most certainly be a scenario played out in any culture in any part of the world. Secret clubs playing on the lives of innocent women trying to find a way out of a rotten, unfulfilled life. Preyed upon by less than stellar men for their own wanton, depraved sick agenda. Disturbing at times but looking at as a whole the author wrote this unabridged version of some men's secret and sick world. The ability to see the whole picture instead of any single act is must. I only recommend this book for open minded, accepting adults. Oh and as a side note this is for those who have many hours to commit because it really is 18+ hours of reading. Thank you, L. Fox this truly was the uncensored version you had in mind!

Weird and wonderful... Maybe?
I couldn't decide one page to the next if I was enjoying this book. I didn't think I was going to get into it at first but I persevered. Mainly because it was different to the usual predictive books I’ve read before.
It had a such slow buildup. I didn't like Pearl. I found her extremely annoying and I didn't warm to her at all. But the story had me gripped and I really liked some of the others, especially Caden and Tanner.
Unfortunately the finale disappointed me, which is why only 4 stars. Ending was a let down after the gripping buildup.
I will be checking out other books by this author though. Well deserving of another chance :)

This prequel provides insight to three different women into the world of The Fox Pit. It was intense. It was interesting. It was hard to read at times because I couldn't decide if the women are totally aware of what is going to happen to them in the future if they decide to go forth with the offer. I couldn't fathom what they are thinking and I must say I was intrigued enough to want to read Dark Rapture so it's now on my TBR list. I'm all for happy endings and I'm not sure this series is going to have one for any of the women. So I enter this world with trepidation.

I am so, ... Wow!! When i started reading this book, I was not sure if I would finish it. Told myself, just another chapter, just another hour, maybe I should go to bed, lol. I will recommend this story, to friends of mine that share my love for these types. I have rated it as 4 stars, only because I read the first part of this book in Dark Rapture 1. I was confused about why book 1, was the beginning of book 2. Also, towards the ended of the book, I had to start looking up the meaning of some of the words. For the most part, I could guess but to be certain, I looked them up. All in all, I really enjoyed this book.

Very dark and twisted, exactly what i enjoy! The entire book. I loved the story line of this book, but the ending was pretty disappointing. I just felt it was super rushed and since the entire book itself was pretty lengthy.. it just made the ending feel like everything happened in minutes and it was over. Overall great book.

This was the first time I read Logan Fox. Holy crap what a great story. Lots of twists and turns thru out. I highly recommend this book if you like dark and twisted stories.

9 tails of a crafty fox and her playground
I loved this book! I loved every single character in this book, I even loved the villains! And let’s not forget the Shadows and the 9 tailed fox slinking about!! I highly recommend this book!! If I could give it more stars I would!!!

I tried, I really did. Filling this yearly Goodreads challenge turns out to be more of a challenge each year; where are all the good books?
The idea for the book seemed interesting; I imagined it to be "Fifty Shades of Grey" meets "The Most Dangerous Game". It wasn't.
So the girl will get 100.000 dollar for having sex with very rich men during one month, but then she suspects she may get killed before payday is due. The author apparently was on a roll and filled the book with words and words and more words, so many it succeeded in making everything boring, most of all the sex scenes. The danger part was mostly forgotten and unfortunately that was the main thing I was interested in. I made it into part III, which began with chapter after chapter with one sex party, where people take their clothes off and suddenly appear to have them on again. Then I was majorly turned off when I had to read about two men kissing and fondling each other. No way did I sign up for that. Couldn't there have been some warning on Goodreads about the LGBT content? And for the unexpected (and unnecessary) paranormal aspect, as well? That would have saved me lots of time. The audiobook's narrator spoke awfully slow (30 hours total!) and I had to crank up the speed to 150% and still it was slow, so no points gained there, either.
Another thing: English isn't my mother tongue but I never before saw a woman's vagina referred to as her "sex". I just googled it and it seems the dictionaries agree with me. It sounded very weird.
I've actually got a bad taste in my mouth and am mad at myself for wasting my time hoping for things to get better. They never do.

When he finds "his place" is in The Plaza Hotel (Penthouse Suite). Cameron is more than eager for Gia and he to go there where they can commit their robbery. With Cameron sleeping off two potent drinks, Owen lets Gia know their game is up but he suggests a different way for her to make more money and he knows the right man to introduce them to.
Next we meet Ivy and Rick. She is his sub and she wants to go out that night. He is the dom who wants to stay in. He starts beating on her inquiring if he is being dominant enough; basically he is beating her. Luckily the phone rings he goes to answer (as he always does) and she escapes to her car. Ivy ends up at a tattoo parlor where she meets Tanner.
Opal Medina and Caden Davis (or as Opal calls him the "Hipster Dude") are the last two main characters to meet . . . and they meet twice in one day. First in a store that sells computer monitors (and who knows what else) and later in a bar in the Baccarat Hotel. Caden gives her a key to the Penthouse Suite where she unexpectedly meets Tanner.
In this third segment Opal finds out that Caden and Tanner not only own the suite they are in but others through out New York AND an exclusive gentlemen's club.
Hum, wonder what that last bit of info has to do with Gia, Ivy, Opal and the Fox Pit . . . Guess this is a must read to find out

Just wow! I am blown away. This is a longer story and boy does it have you on the wild ride throughout the entire story. It has so much drama, suspense, mystery, and hot sexual encounters. It has a way about it that latches on and doesn’t let go. It is going to be taboo for some but if into darker ones this is a must read. I loved the characters and well they are developed. The storyline is fantastically different and it is just amazing how it all flows together. I am not sure about some of slightly poorer reviews on some other sites but the edition I read flow together beautifully. It is definitely worth reading reading and doesn’t disappoint.

I found the main protagonist unconvincing in her willingness to escape. Because the only time she wishes to get free is while she's not receiving "attention" from wolves. The rest of time she's having hell of a good time.
Also the money. She's in debt up to tits. Bit hard to believe she'd easily say goodbye to 100k.
And it wasn't nearly as dark and "disturbing" as announced. Could have figured, self-proclaimed things never are what they proclaim.

This story revolves mostly around one character, Pearl, and her plight with being offered a large sum of money for 1 month work.
Dark Rapture will make some readers squeamish, as there is a lot of very strong and forceful BDSM aspects. So heed the warnings

I was engrossed in the book; a dark, disturbing page turner. My only disappointment was the ending which confused me. Were the characters hallucinating or dreaming ...... totally lost me. Still haven’t figured out who were the good guys re Caden etc. The whole ending merged into mayhem and confusion. Couldn’t figure out who survived, who died, who came back, were they dead .......grr, so confusing. So wish I could give this book more stars.
I’m now reading Gia’s story which will hopefully help me understand the ending in this book.
