Have Your Way with Me

Rate this book
No one makes me feel like he does.

Which is some shit, considering he ran to the military the minute he graduated high school. Something about living his dreams.

Guess I wasn’t included in that dream.

But I moved on from my brother’s best friend and started a life of my own.

Now it’s time to reconnect with family, and the last person I expect to see his him.

Grown up. Strong. Ripped with muscles. Hot as hell.

It’s not just about butterflies and childhood wishes. I’m drowning in grownup fantasies and passion I didn’t know existed.

I should give him the finger and turn my back, but I can’t.

Five words rush around my mind every time I see him now: have your way with me.

It’s time for a second chance. A last chance. My only chance.

Yep. A turtle. You read that right. Don't be jealous.

You're going to find Billionaires, Bad Boys, Military Guys and loads of sexiness.

Something for everyone, hopefully. I'd love to connect with you. Check out the links below and come find me.

Another fantastic story by Weston Parker who once again brings strong, well developed characters and weaves an entertaining story that captured me from beginning to end. He brings it to life with his descriptive writing and vividly painted scenes adding drama, anxiety and tons of steam in this sweet and sexy read. I was glued to the pages reading this second chance romance and would highly recommend reading.

Jordan has one major secret from his best friend, Kole, that would end their friendship forever. The secret is that he dated and loved Kole's little sister, Elyse, and she loved him. But they were mere teenagers at the time and he left with Kole to enlist in the Navy. But they have had no contact with each other in ten years. Nothing. Not a thing. Jordan has had an Honourable Discharge and is happily working on a pineapple farm with his friend Mauli, but he isn't going to do this for the rest of his life. Kole invites him fro breakfast and tells him that Ellie is coming to live on the island so the brother and sister can be nearer to each other. There have been ten years for them to change, there will be no attraction surely? But, oh boy, there is and in abundance! Kole never knew about Jordan and Elyse and he certainly wouldn't have wanted them to go out together. In fact, no one was good enough to go out with his little sister. Talk about being a bit over protective. However, there is no doubt that there is something powerful between these two engaging characters. He is all alpha male but there is a tender and passionate side to him that draws Elyse to him like a moth to a flame. She is breathtakingly beautiful and almost takes his breath away. She is funny, witty and sensual and as attracted to him as he is to her. Kole is clueless about what is going on. But what happens when Jordan fails to tell Kole about them? How will Elyse react? Can they lose each other for another ten years or maybe forever? I confess that the last few chapters had me on 'the edge of my seat' as I experienced what they were going through. Weston Parker is just so good at his descriptions that I felt as if it was happening right in front of me. It just proves how good an author he is, when the reader feels as if it's not 'just a book' but an experience! It's a wonderful story with amazing characters and I do wonder if we will get to experience Kole's story too??? I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!

This was my second Weston Parker book and let me tell you, it had me swooning all over the place. I originally picked up this book after getting a FB notification that the author had posted in another author’s group that I am in, so I read his post, got sucked into the blurb and then downloaded the book onto my kindle and I AM SO GLAD I DID.

Have Your Way with Me is the story of Jordan and Elyse. Jordan is the best friend of Elyse’s big brother, Kole, and when they were in their teens, they had a small romance. Jordan and Kole end up joining the Navy and that’s where their romance ends… or so they thought.

Ten years have passed since they’ve seen each other, but the sparks are still there. The fire that burns between them is so bright, you’ll need sunglasses. They are soulmates, and though they keep it from Kole, they can’t seem to stop how they feel about each other. Eventually the secret comes out. I cried y’all. Balled my little eyes out. Seriously.

Weston took their story and made it something beautiful and breathtaking. Jordan and Elyse has a love that transcends everything. They are so sweet and beautiful together. Jordan is definitely near the top of my coveted book boyfriend list… and Elyse… she is definitely near the top of the list for heroines in my favorite books.

I’m really hoping that Kole gets his own story… that he finds the girl that knocks him on his behind.

All in all, this was a beautiful second-chance, childhood sweethearts book that will have you swooning, laughing, crying, and smiling so big that your cheeks hurt.

Five beautiful stars. Definitely go check it out.

Weston Parker always writes a great book and this was no exception. You know what they say, a first love is a forever love and second chances are often the best chances. Jordan and Elyse were secretly in love in high school. Jordon was her brother's best friend and he knew Kole would not approve of his dating his sister, so they kept their relationship secret. Jordan and her brother Kole joined the Navy and continued to be best friends. They're both in Hawaii years later with Kole still in the Navy and Kole retired with an honorable discharge. There was a lot of drama concerning what happened with the incident that caused Jordan to leave the Navy. He was content and enjoying life in Hawaii picking pineapples on a farm. Things ramp up a notch when Elyse decides to move to Hawaii to be closer to her only family, her brother Kole. She and Jordan reconnect but keep it secret from Kole as they both know he won't approve. Lots of drama, plenty of suspense and guilt trips galore. Finally the cat's out of the bag and they confess to Kole about their relationship. In my opinion, he's a real ass hat about the whole thing. Selfish and unreasonable. Lots of twists and more drama and finally things work out with a great HEA. Well written but the story moves a little slow at times. The characters were likable with the exception of Kole after they confessed their love. He was a real jerk and hard to like but he finally came around. I read an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

A military themed best friend’s sibling romance set in beautiful Hawaii? Sign me up. Wait… They’re also childhood sweethearts that get a second chance at true love? ~Swoon!~ Jordan and Elyse are perfect and perfectly frustrating together. Their story is filled with sweet tender moments, spicy encounters, and more drama and angst than you can shake a TV Guide at. I adored Jordan. He’s caught in this impossible situation between his best friend, the man who’s always had his back, and the woman who feels like she’s the missing piece of his heart. I liked Elyse, but she left me scratching my head more than once. Her ‘in the now’ philosophy of life rubbed me the wrong way and meant that she did some things that I just couldn’t get behind. I am so glad these two have friends that can talk them off their various ledges throughout the story. All their emotional torments kept my eyes glued to the page while I clenched my teeth in exasperation wanting to smack some sense into the pair. There are a bunch of larger-than-life secondary characters in this story that I hope we’ll get to see in books of their own in the future.

Loved Elyse and Jordan. Jordan is her brother’s best friend and these two had a little something going back in high school. Elyse has always been seen as the little sister and now she’s all grown up and ready to make changes and decides to move to Hawaii to be with her brother only she doesn’t know that Jordan has been living with him. Seeing each other again brings back all the feelings between them. Having a relationship may prove to be harder than they thought. What happens when her brother realizes what’s going on? Will these two get their second chance at love or will obstacles stand in the way? Great read, I received a copy of this book.

An adventurous brother’s best friend second chance romance

Elyse, an adventure seeking gal, moves to Hawaii to be closer to her brother and runs into Jordan, her high school fling and her brother’s best friend. As the story progresses they fall back into old habits, rash decisions are made, and coming to terms with things may cost them more than they are willing to give. Weston Parker’s Have Your Way With Me is an adventurous brother’s best friend second chance romance. I hope Mr. Parker has something planned for Kole, because he deserves a happy ending.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Another couldn't-put-it-down story from mister Weston Parker!

Secrets teenage lovers ( Elyse and Jordan) reconnect by chance 10 years later, when Elyse moves to Hawaï to find herself and to get closer to her brother Kole, who is also Jordan's best friend, and they are very close.
This Weston Parker's story is, again, very well written; it has emotions, sexiness, secrets and a bit of drama.
Jordan and Elyse's moods are very well described. Their reconnection is instant and sizzling; their intimate scenes are hot and sexy.
Great work !!

Best friend's sibling is one of my favorite tropes. The unrequited love and years of hidden looks and crushes finally fulfilled. There's a little bit of that here and that's about it. I had to force myself to finish it. It is dual first person point of view. There are sex scenes. I'm pretty sure there is some foul language. I'm rather used to it from romance books, so I don't notice unless it's really bad and this one wasn't. Please don't read and then complain if these things upset you.

Nothing outside of the couple's relationship makes any sense. Kole, Elyse's brother, who is still in the Navy gets her a job in Hawaii on the combined base of Pearl Harbor (forget the other part of the name), without her ever interviewing, at a daycare. She doesn't seem to go through background checks or anything like that. Jordan has left the Navy even though Kole keeps begging him to come back. In addition, I can only imagine how little a daycare worker would make in that situation - or any situation outside of a rich neighborhood. She now has a house she is renting by herself in Hawaii??

Eventually, a little bit is said about why Jordan left the Navy but it really doesn't mater at all. It adds nothing to the book. It wasn't well developed enough to give the book any extra depth.

Now Jordan is picking pineapples. The book would have you believe you just walk through the bushes? and pop off the pineapple and move on. It can't be that easy. Jordan doesn't even seem to break a sweat doing it. And really, who could be fulfilled with that kind of life? Back to pay - how could he live on what he would make popping off pineapples. If it is easy as portrayed, that job sure wouldn't pay much.

I can usually overlook some plot (or circumstance/background) holes for a good book but this isn't a good book.

Elyse makes some friends at the daycare but their conversations are mundane. I skimmed them all. They added nothing to the book.

Now I have said her outside conversations and Jordan's Navy background added nothing to the book and I'm going to turn around to say there is nothing else in this book other than the expected conversations they would have while dating (but not really real dates), sex (no complaints other than I like it spicier), conversation about should they tell the brother/what the brother will say, and their internal thoughts for their relationship (and there are a lot of those). There needs to be something else. This story is just too basic. Very simple. I read another review that said it was basically erotic with a thin story line. If that were true, the sex would have been better.

Mr. Parker is very hit or miss for me. I just read "Say You Do." It wouldn't put it on my top 10 list but I enjoyed reading the book. Then I read this and wonder how the same person wrote it. Perhaps this book was rushed for a deadline? I've read at least two others by him and enjoyed one and shook my head at the other. I will probably keep reading but will be checking the reviews more carefully.

Speaking of shaking my head... how did this book get such high ratings? I guess people have different expectations.

Who the hell cares what Kole thinks?

Good grief, this was THE WORST "my brothers best friend" book I've ever read. I think it just ruined that plot for me forever. And, while we're on that subject, can we just bury that plot forever. It's so over used it's not even interesting anymore. Let's talk about Kole. Who acts like that? Certainly not any of my brothers when I dated their friends. I actually don't think this is as big a thing as this author has made it out to be. He threw such a fit, he reminded me of a two year old. Not to mention the fact that he acted like a damn jealous wife who just caught her husband cheating. It was way over the top.
Now, the other two? More prepared and willing to lose each other than tell the jealous brother because they both know how he'll respond? I hate giving bad reviews. I loved the chemistry between the two, but the brother thing just ruined it for me.

Weston Parker is one of my favorite authors and one of my 1-click.

His new book Have your way with Me is a military, 2nd chance romance pack with plenty heat, romance, loyalty, brotherhood and swooning moments that will have you asking for more. And, once again he give us characters that are easy to fall in love with, characters that will have you rooting for them, and of course characters you want to slap til the next day!!

The love between Elyse & Jordan was rekindle when they saw each other again a decade later, bringing memories back up from where they were buried, the sizzling and chemistry they had years ago were at a high pitch now, making them inevitable. But this time they have to face the consequences of telling her brother, his best friend about their love.
And while Elyse thought it was ok, Jordan was caught in this hard place questioning if his love for Elyse was strong enough to face the lost of a long lasting friendship, a lost of a brother.

This issue put a damp to their relationship bringing them to consider many things including a breakup to make everyone happy but themselves. And as always, Weston took us to a rollercoaster of emotions to find out if they made it or not, so grab your copy and read up to see if they got their HEA they deserve.

I highly recommend this book and this incredible author.

For me, probably a 3.5 but liking this author and having read most of his stories gives him the benefit. This story is about best friends, Jordan and Elyse. This is not just a friends to lovers romance - there is a lot of angst. I appreciate sometimes but I have to be in the mood for it as sometimes it get frustrating and evokes feelings just from the read. I did appreciate the tender moments the most. Jordan is a very lovable character caught in this impossible situation between his best friend, the man who’s always had his back. It is truly a no win situation u til he puts them both first. I didn’t connect with Elyse really at all so that made the read 50/50 for me. Unfortunately, most of her idea’s just ticked me off. I don’t usually feel like throwing my kindle when I read this author, but if you like a lot of angst and frustration this is a book for you. I prefer to dial it down a notch but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be a good book. I did like the secondary characters in this story that I hope we’ll get to see in books of their own in the future. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

3.5**** stars. Elyse has moved from California to Hawaii to be closer to her brother Kole, her only relative. What she didn’t know was that his childhood best friend Jordan, her first everything, is living there. Kole is pretty intense and just too overprotective of his 26 year old sister. After a 10 year separation, they are still as attracted to each other as high school and are still having difficulty telling Kole. Jordan and Kole enlisted in the Navy at the same time and able to frequently serve together. They are tired of hiding, but their lives are very entwined. Someone is doomed to be very hurt by this situation and relationship. Kole is over the top being big brother. He shouldn’t have that much power in their relationships. You can’t help feeling bad for Jordan and Elyse. Not my most favorite Weston book..enjoyable read!

HAVE YOUR WAY WITH ME By Weston Parker
I always know when I pick up a book by Weston Parker I am going to get a well written solid story with great characters, tons of angst, hot passionate chemistry, banter, secrets, and drama. Then throw in a magical Hawaiian background, with descriptions you can almost see, second chance romance, best friends sister and you really have something special. l loved this book and Jordan & Elyse. Kole, Alice and Mauli are great secondary characters. I am hopeful Kole gets his own HEA...hint, hint Weston! Definitely 5 stars for this one!

Each Book Weston Parker writes just keeps getting better and better. He's definitely showing his writing chops with this one. It's a standalone second chance romance. Jordan and Kole have been best friends forever and Elyse is Koles baby sister. She is 3 yrs younger.
Jordan and Elyse were each others first's when they were teenagers. This is all a secret to Kole. As soon as Jordan and Kole graduated High School they joined the Navy and were gone. Ten years later they are in Hawaii and Elyse is in San Francisco but she decides to move to be closer to her brother, as they are the only family they have, unknowing Jordan is also there.
Story continues from there. Really enjoyed reading this book. Way to go Weston..

I enjoyed this best friend's little sister romantic story. It's nicely developed, well written and very interesting. I love the characters and the plot is good. I enjoyed Jordan and Elyse's journey to love. Jordan is best friends with Cole, Elyse's brother. The two friends enlisted in the military and left Elyse behind; both taking a part of her heart with them. Elyse and Jordan were on again and off again before the left for the military but Cole did not know. Now years later Elyse has moved to Hawaii to be close to her brother. She does not realize that Jordan is there as well. This is a good second chance story with some angst, witty dialogue, humor, lies, hot passion and great twists/turns.

I love a good friends to lovers story. This one is awesome. I like Jordan and Elyse. They have an attraction that sizzles. I don't know how Elyse's brother, Kole, can know both of them and not know they are more than friends. It is good that when Elyse moves to Hawaii she makes friends and she loves her new job. The other teacher assistant, Alice, takes her under her wing.
I like Mauli. He is a good friend to Jordan. He just shouldn't sing karaoke. I hope he get his HEA. He is one of the good guys.
This is a feel good book for the most part. I don't understand why Kole feels so bad about Jordan and Elyse's relationship. After all he trusts Jordan like a brother. Except for that I highly recommend this book.

Weston has another hit on his hands with Jordan and Elyse's story. They were HS sweethearts - but in secret because she's the little sister of his best friend and off limits. He graduates from HS and enlists in the Navy along with his best friend and never expected to see her again, or have to tell his best friend how he really felt about his sister. 10 years later, Elyse moves to Hawaii to be closer to her brother. The chemistry is absolutely still there for Jordan and Elyse, and they just can't fight it. But keeping it secret is almost the end of their renewed romance. Thankfully they each have friends who can talk them off the ledge when they let their emotions and guilt get the best of them. True love prevails in the end, and so does friendship in paradise.

Have Your Way with Me. A high school love affair standing the test of time. Back in the day, Jordan had a friend, Kole. They always hung out. What Kole didn't know was Jordan was mesmerized by his little sister and secretly hung out with her. The guys left and joined the Navy and Jordan thought the relationship with Elyse was over. But years later they rekindled their relationship but never told Kole. So now how do they tell Kole they broke his trust? This is a great romance second chance story! *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***

Ellie was joining her brother, Kole, in Honolulu, not realising their childhood friend, Jordan, was also their. Ellie and Jordan had history together and the feelings had not stopped in the decade they were apart. I do not believe the bro-code should exist! If the guy is good enough and meets your standards, he should be the perfect person for your sister.
Weston Parker has again made me fall in love with his characters and hope we will get to read books telling the stories of Kole and of Alice.

Great brother’s best friend second chance romance! I really loved characters and Hawaii setting. Jordan was absolutely swoon-worthy! He and Elyse were perfect together and it was impossible not to root for them right from the start! Their HEA was simply heart melting.
I also liked strong secondary characters. Kole was pretty unreasonable about his sister and best friend but luckily he came to his senses in the end. I would love to read his story.

Have Your Way with Me is another great read from Weston Parker.

High school lovers Elyse and Jordan are reunited after ten years apart. What makes them keep their relationship secret is the fact that they both don't want to hurt Elyse's brother Kole, who is also Jordan's best friend.

While the brother is a little hard to like with his overprotectiveness, Elyse and Jordan are adorable when they are together. The chemistry between them is off the charts and you can't help but cheer for them as they navigate their situation.

I was given an ARC for an honest review of this book.

Elyse fell in love with Jordan 10 years ago as a teenager. Jordan was her brother Kole's best friend and they were inseparable. Jordan loved Elyse too but they were young and Jordan and Kole were enlisting.. They knew it wouldn't last so they just went their separate ways. . Now 10 years later Elyse is moving to Hawaii to be closer to Kole and unknowingly closer to Jordan. when they see each other again all those feelings come rushing back.. Kole will never accept them being together and Jordan can't lose either of them but will he have to choice or will he lose them both?

What happens when the only women you have ever loved shows back up,but you can't have her because shes your best friends sister? This book was absolutely fantastic and the storyline flowed from the beginning until the end but the emotional rollercoaster was written to a tee. I absolutely loved both Jordan and Elyse and wanted to punch her brother Kole a few times and tell him to get his head out of his butt lol truly this is one of my favorite books now by Weston Parker and gove it a 5 but if I could give it a 10 I absolutely would in a heartbeat.

When your family is only yourself and your brother it makes life a little bit challenging. That’s what happens for Elyse when she hasn’t seen her brother in almost 10 years. She decides it’s time to move closer to family even when it happens to be paradise. What she wasn’t expecting was seeing Jordan again. The one who stole her heart so many years ago. Who never had the heart to make her come first in his life. Can things change? Does Jordan realize all along how he feels for Elyse and is it enough to risk his friendship with Kole.

Elyse and Jordan's story

Weston Parker's stories keep getting better and better!

This second chance romance between Kole's little sister, Elyse and his best friend, Jordan was well written. The chemistry between the characters is beautiful. There is a bit of drama and it can even take one on an emotional roller coaster.

I enjoyed this one, even the supporting characters entertained me.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:

Easy-to-read, Happily Ever After, Page-turner, Romantic, Wonderful characters
