Player meets innocent. Game on. I'm a player. In more ways than one. I love women and they love me. The second I lay eyes on Zoe, I know I want her. Like mad. She's nothing but curves, but she hides them behind her oh-so-proper clothes. That only makes me want her more-and I'm used to getting what I want. Problem is...she's supposed to get me out of a bit of a legal jam. My attorney is a definite no-no. Or so Zoe says. She also says a few other things... My prim, professional, smoking hot attorney is innocent...in more ways than one. Game. Set. Match. I will have her. Only one thing I didn't count on. She might have me too. *This is a steamy, full-length standalone sports romance with a guaranteed happily-ever-after. No cliffhangers. Nothing but steamy romance & HEA!
USA Today bestselling author J. H. Croix writes emotionally charged, steamy small town Alaska romance featuring protective firefighter and first responder heroes with big hearts and smart, strong heroines. Best known for her interconnected series set in Willow Brook, Alaska, Croix creates immersive fictional communities where the town itself becomes a character and found family is at the heart of every love story.
It keeps getting better and better. Have you had a good look at this cover?? Ahem... Can I drool? Jeez.. I know this author for a while now and I can say, without reading her books, that she's amazing. I can guarantee that due to her previous works. She has a way with words that will knock your socks off in a sec. J. H. Croix is like a sorcerer. Her words work like magic with the ability to make you want more and more each time. Trust me.. Out of Bounds the 4th book from the Brit Boys Sports and let me tell you that you can't miss this. First of all you should read the other 3 books because despite they are all standalones you need to know the characters and what better way to do so than reading? Go for it and you will thank me later. This book tells the stories of Ethan and Zoe. Ethan is a well succeed soccer player. But he's also a player outside the field because one night stands are his motto. But one wrong situation got him with problems with the law and now he needs a lawyer. That should be peachy if he hadn't kissed her a while back. Zoe is a criminal defense lawyer and takes her career very seriously. She doesn't have time for relationships because she's always busy with case after case. When she's hired to represent Ethan she can't imagine what's about come her way. And it was just another amazing story like I knew it would be. The plot is beautiful and intense, fast paced and very well written. The interation between the characters is intense, forbidden, raw and sweet. The things we want aren't always in front of your eyes. First you need to accept that you want more and then you have to look for it. This book provide us love, passion, desire as well as fear, stubbornness, cruel people and let's not forget the hot stuff. That's right, in a book like this is a must. This series is getting better every time, chapter by chapter. Oh J. H. What are you doing to me... I've read this book in one day, just so you know, I ended it we 2:30am. Now let's dig into the next one. But not at this hour because I'm beat. Lol I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
A wide range of emotions can be found all throughout OUT OF BOUNDS, while any sexual moments are blazingly hot. Since Ethan Walsh and Zoe Lawson have been met in the previous Brit Boys Sports Romance books, I already knew they were individuals who definitely appealed to me. Even if this is your first meeting of these two characters, you will be immediately drawn to their convincingly realistic lives, and the author’s clever writing leaves you feeling nothing has been missed. J. H. Croix has created an extremely affecting story for her romantic couple, where I experienced their every emotion in ways I rarely feel while reading because of the alternating points of view.
Since all past encounters Zoe Lawson had with Ethan Walsh have been impersonal except for a spontaneous kiss, the lawyer believes she can represent the Seattle Stars soccer player as he has been charged with fighting. Though her goal is to remain all business when near the tempting man, her mind repeatedly strays toward inappropriate thoughts about him. Ethan has also noticed Zoe, and he would love for some of their time together to be far more intimate than just talking. He has always enjoyed being with a variety of women, but something about his attorney has him thinking that just a few hours with her may not be enough.
As Zoe tries to resist the potent pull she finds so difficult to deny, Ethan’s winning personality has her wanting to forget he is her client so their every interaction does not have to be completely professional. When Zoe lets it slip she is still a virgin, Ethan is at first uncertain yet knows it will not deter him from being with her.
Ethan is a truly wonderful man in all aspects. While he may be known as a player, he is actually a very thoughtful person, and would never do anything that caused someone else to be needlessly hurt. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the books in the Brit Boys Sports Romance series, but I must say Ethan and Zoe’s story is my favorite. Not only are these two a delightful pair, the storyline about them is also particularly compelling. Their being in a relationship could be frowned upon by those who work with Zoe, but the attraction cannot be ignored by either of them. Every situation that takes place as she fights the pull and Ethan turns on the charm is absolutely spellbinding, as I was held captive and just had to discover what would end up happening.
The sexual escapades between Ethan and Zoe are some of the hottest I have read lately, but underneath all the heat was real caring. Their teasing was often amusing, and when their friends became involved, the scenes were frequently even more hilarious. But when things needed to be serious, the moment was filled with realism and touched my own feelings. It was certainly fabulous to catch up with past characters and form what felt like new friends. J. H. Croix makes OUT OF BOUNDS spellbinding with riveting believability.
I voluntarily reviewed the book and all comments are my honest opinion
OUT OF BOUNDS (BRIT BOYS SPORTS ROMANCE BOOK THREE)

Review:
Ethan is a famous soccer player who is only too happy to live life without romantic commitments and he has a reputation for it. Zoe is an attorney, who says is virgin because “she never had time” for it. She is also totally uptight and worries about everything, one of the main ones her reputation.
Although being completely different, Ethan finds himself attracted to Zoe and decides to pursue her, the catch, she was representing him in a case. I really liked Ethan character because once he started pursuing Zoe he was super nice and dedicated to her, I didn’t feel the same from her. She seemed to be always on the verge of freaking out and needed to be reassured all the time. That’s the only reason the book wasn’t perfect to me. All the rest I liked. The story flows pretty well, the intimate scenes are quite hot and it was nice to read.
I got the book for free on Amazon, you may want to check if it’s still available and give it a read. However, this is book three, maybe you’ll enjoy more starting from book one. I didn’t mind because it’s part of a series, but it’s a standalone.
So now that I’m two in it’s a given I said “NEXT” In this book, Ethan and Zoe met in a previous book. She’s an attorney for the team and he’s a player who it turns out needs an attorney. He’s gotten himself into a situation that is not at all of his doing and Zoe is getting him out of it. He has a case of the hots for her and she has one for him but it would be a conflict of interest for there to be any fraternization between them. But nothing stands in the way of love for long. And while I liked the previous books in the series slightly better. I certainly enjoyed this one enough to keep going with Brit Boys.
From the first page you sucked into the story, this book has it all and will keep you on the Rollercoaster of emotions to the very end. The characters are engaging and the story captivating. I voluntarily read a copy and it was bloody fantastic. Even if you haven't read the other books this book stands all on its own, with great scenes that take you along with each phase of this relationship.
What an awesome read!! I was hooked from the beginning. I felt as though I was in the story, watching it unfold.. I'm heading over for the next one!! Pick yours up today!!
And why oh why do all the virgin heroines have to be so timid and mousy? Do people actually think that that's what make the heroine an attractive woman when the hero is the definition of a Manwhore?
I received an ARC and am voluntarily reviewing Out of Bounds by j. H. Croix.
This is another great book in this series. There is such a huge range of emotions that take place in this book. Ethan is a big flirt and pretty carefree while Zoe is too busy with her career to be interested in a relationship. Things get out of control when she is his lawyer and they cross lines that shouldn't be crossed. Will they be able to make it work or will Zoe decide that her career can not take the "scandal" that would happen if it were to come out that she started dating a client? Can Ethan convince her that she is not just another fling but means so much more to him?
Ethan is a hot pro soccer player, and Zoe is his attorney. They've made appearances in other Brit Boys books in this series, but this one is their story. Attorney and client should stay away from each other, but the sizzle between them cannot be denied. Loved this sports romance. It was humorous with fun banter, and their steam definitely kept my Kindle burning hot! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
The thing I love about J. H. Croix's books is that they are truly spellbinding, whether they take place in Alaska, Maine or in Seattle. I have read all of J. H. Croix's books and she never ceases to amaze me with the reality of her writing.
In book 3 of the Brit Boys series Ethan meets his match in prim and proper attorney Zoe. Ethan is a player but once he sets his sights on Zoe the game is on and he wants her like nothing he's ever felt before. Zoe gets flustered by just being in close proximity of Ethan but it can't come of anything because it's unethical to have a relationship with a client, unless that kiss counts as being involved before she has to represent him. With encouragement and lots of pushing from best friend and paralegal Jana, Zoe gives in to Ethan after blurting out she is a virgin. The wacky friendship between Zoe and Jana will leave you laughing from their antics. As Zoe and Ethan come to term with their feelings for each other, Zoe panics and pushes Ethan away and gets him another attorney because of their relationship and threats from another attorney. Will Ethan be able to convince Zoe they belong together or will Zoe's insecurities get the best of her??
I highly recommend this book as well as any written by J. H. Croix. The characters and their feelings are as real as the blue sky. This book can be read as a standalone but you will appreciate the characters more by reading all the books in the series. Even though I received an ARC of this book and others I also purchase copies of them. It was good to visit characters from previous books and meet new ones. I can't wait to see what is in store for Tristan, Ethan's roommate and teammate.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book Thank you J. H. Croix for another off the charts book
I love this one. A different twist with an older virgin woman and a soccer player whose known for his womanizing. He knows he loves her and won't let her get away from him. But how is the question will he get her to submit?
Ethan Walsh one of the many star players of the football (soccer) team the Seattle Stars. His nickname is the Golden Boy or Magnum with the ladies and it doesn't hurt his image at all. He loves the ladies as much as he loves his pick of the pubs where he finds a lot of them. But under the collar there is just one woman who thwarts him at every turn. Granted he hasn't seen her for a while since the kiss in the hallway. But the pretty redhead with legs for days has been on his mind a lot. If only he could somehow break the ice wall that's up around her.
Zoe Lawson attorney for the Seattle Stars football players (soccer). Just doesn't know what to do. The case should be an open and shut case with the incident at the pub. With sercurity video footage, well over thirty witnesses and a police report it should be as black as white as you can get. But the guy wants to press charges on him for the hit that Ethan landed after being hit by him first. Ethan has been getting under her collar with all the words and moves he's been trying to put on her. But he's the client and she's the lawyer. There should be no fraternization between them. But Zoe can't help but think what Mr. Lawson would do to her if they were alone and they were allowed to do so.
Zoe and Ethan's romance is only slightly Out Of Bounds enough to affect her reputation but both are affected for a lifetime! This is another excellent steamy romance by an excellent romance author! Zoe is an excellent lawyer who has to fight for her good reputation. Ethan is a player who is wrongly accused of assault when he was too intoxicated to avoid an idiotic situation. You will love this sexy romance! I received a gifted copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I honestly love this story and this series!
Out of Bounds. Another great book from J. H. Croix about the Soccer playing Brit Boys. This book is about Ethan and Zoe. Ethan is the hot soccer player playboy that all the ladies love and Zoe is the attorney that is on retainer for the team. Ethan has been attracted to Zoe for some time now and intends to have her. He is not use to women turning him down so when she doesn’t respond to his flirtatious ways he is determined he will have her. Zoe hasn’t been used to male attention, she is very tall for a woman and it took her a while to get her female curves so she lacks self-confidence about being attractive enough for Ethan. These two will excite you and make you smile at the lengths Ethan will go to get the girl. I love these books on the Brit Boys and can’t wait for the next one. I voluntarily read this as part of the ARC and this is my honest opinion. I absolutely loved it. It keeps your attention the entire time, a definite page turner filled with lots of emotion, heat, and love. We also get to revisit Liam and Olivia and also Alex and Harper from The Play and Big Win. This book is a stand-alone so you don’t have to read the first two to enjoy it but I highly recommend you do because they were both great as well. Yes, Luv, you are going to get wrapped up in these men.
These books about the Seattle Stars football (soccer) players just keep getting better and better. This one is about Ethan the biggest flirt that was introduced to us in the last book and Zoe, the lawyer, who also was also introduced in the last book. This time it's Ethan that needs a lawyer when he literally walks into a fight and gets in trouble and Zoe is called to defend him. The sparks fly and soon they are seeing each other exclusively. But there are obstacles, he's her client and a slimy lawyer is sniffing around. When word gets out that she was seeing him while being a client, Zoe does what she needs to do and steps back and leaves. Will she come back? Will they realize they are in love before it's too late? A great great great read with oh my steamy scenes and I really enjoyed the fact that both were never in a serious relationship before and the author wrote a story about two people who finally realize what it's like to be in love. The way that Ethan broke through her walls, the serious career lawyer who never had fun or let loose until she found the right one to do that with and Ethan experiencing feelings and a protectiveness over Zoe that he never felt before with any other woman. We also get to read about the other couples from the previous books and Jana, Zoe's assistant, is a hoot. Can't wait for the next one!! *I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book*
I loved this story! The characters were awesome! I was pulled in from the very beginning with Zoe and Ethan! I loved their personalities and the way that they mesh together. Ethan loves to tease and Zoe has been focused on work so long that she doesn't know how to take it at first. Ethan is perfect for her but it takes a little bit of time. Both of them feel the strong connection but are in denial about exactly what it means. Ethan is determined to get with Zoe and he is not being a player or anything but he just ignores the extra meaning behind it for a while. Zoe is having a hard because while they kissed before he was a client she is walking a fine line that she didn't want to cross but with Ethan she just can't say no. I loved watching them get to know each other and build their relationship. The sex is explicit and fits the story and the characters perfectly. Ethan likes to tease and so he gets Zoe hot and bothered more than once in situations that they can't exactly be appeased. I laughed and just really enjoyed the story while reading it. Once I started I didn't want to put it down because I wanted to know how they would work everything out. It flows really well and has a great pace. Just a good story! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Bloody brilliant. Ethan and Zoe made a super hot couple once Zoe put aside her worries. Super sexy read with a guaranteed happy ending. I volunteered for a arc of this book
I enjoyed this sports romance. Ethan and Zoe make a great couple. The characters have amazing chemistry and you want her to give him a chance. It is a fun read and I recommend it.
This series is a very good one. Each installment is awesomely amazing. I can't find much to criticise, so I have to be honest and admit how much I enjoyed Ethan & Zoe's story.
It was fun seeing how tied up in knots Ethan & Zoe - two normally confident persons - became when they realized that they were attracted to each other in a way they hadn't been with others before. There was quite a lot of heat between Ethan & Zoe, and I found myself looking forward to their encounters eagerly.
We catch up with the couples from the previous installments, and meet new characters. The support from the secondary characters made for extremely entertaining and fun reading. I absolutely cannot wait for the next title to be released.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book, and recommend it wholeheartedly.
Yet another fantastic story in this series. These boys are so hot! The way they fall for the girls so hard and fast is adorable and romantic. This story is no different. After the last book, I had hoped these two would end up together, now to see who's next....Belle and Mack or Tristan and Daisy? Maybe I'll be surprised and none of them end up together, but I can't wait to find out. I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Ethan is known as a playboy and flirt. Zoe is determined to keep her professional relationship on the straight path. Instant attraction blooms between the two. Will Ethan be able to break through Zoe's tough shell? Will Ethan finally be ready to give up his ways and settle down?
LOVED this book! I have loved all the books in this series and when I think the one before can't be topped, I'm proved wrong! Loved that while Ethan openly admits to his past, he's got a heart of gold. Loved to see Zoe come to the conclusion of her feelings and finally take life by the horns! Great book and definitely recommend!

I love sports romances - but this one has some extra. I had an edge that I found amazing. This book also made me laugh and got me through a lot of emotions. It is so well written that I almost felt I was part of the story. The chemistry is flowting out of the pages and you just get caught from page one. It has drama, romance, hot scenes, alpha male, groans, laughs, drama and a lot more. Short review because it is a book you just have to read! As expected J. H. Croix did not disappoint with this book!
I was given his book for an honest voluntary review.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This is the third book in the Brit Boys Sports series and they just keep getting better. This book pulled me in from the very first wood with the well written storyline and the well developed characters that kept me hooked until the very last word!
Wow I have to say J.H. Croix hit it out of the park with this book. I love this series. The way the guys talk with their British words just melts me. All the characters in the book whether main or secondary just make this book what it is. Ethan might just be my new book boyfriend. There was something about him that made my heart melt. You throw Zoe into this book and it HOT HOT HOT !! I picked it up and I could not put it down. I was even walking around the house trying to get my steps in while I read !! The book flows from one chapter to the next. You are smiling, laughing, and melting all at the same time. Honestly I cannot wait until the next book in this series. I am positive it will be just as good as this book. This book is 5 plus stars. I highly recommend you give it a try. I voluntarily received a copy for my honest review.
I really enjoyed reading Out of Bounds, the 3rd book in the Brit Boys Sports series by J. H. Croix. Zoe a virgin, and lawyer for the team and Ethan a Brit soccer player who runs into a fist at a bar and hits back. Zoe is called in the middle of the night to the police station to defend Ethan. Their love story heats up in her defense of Ethan. You will enjoy and love their story. I highly recommend reading Out of Bounds by J. H. Croix you will absolutely enjoy reading it. I received a free copy of this book and have voluntarily choose to review it.
With Out of Bounds (Brit Boys Sports #3), we get the story of Zoe Lawson and Ethan Walsh. Zoe is a virgin and Ethan is known as a player. The chemistry between these two is off-the-charts HOT, HOT, HOT. While reading this book, even though it can be read as a standalone, we get to catch up with Alex/Harper and Liam/Olivia. We also get to know Tristan, Ethan's roommate. I can't wait to read his story next in Play Me. Jana, Zoe's best friend and receptionist extraordinaire, will have you laughing out loud at times. I recommend this whole series to anyone that wants to read about some sexy Brit soccer players. J.H. Croix thank you for another terrific read.
What is not to love about Ethan. He is just so lovable, flirty with a great sense of humour. Zoe struggling with justifying being able to have a relationship with him. But there was so much chemistry between these two plus Ethan, who has four sisters, was able to understand Zoe's misgivings and find the perfect way to pursue her.
