Since my fantasies don't include submitting to a man who blackmails me into sex by refusing to protect me from a murderer if I don't agree to his demands, this book wasn't for me. YMMV.
This also contains Ms. Stone's signature heroine who offers token protests mere seconds before folding immediately; thus, there's no real tension.
Side note: Piper Stone's output is certainly impressive. What is it, a book approximately every other week?

Four years ago, Sierra met Lorenzo on the beach in Cancun. She approached him, began to flirt and ultimately, had a torrid affair with a dominant man. Now all these years later, Sierra is an award-winning criminal investigative reporter. Oh, and let's not forget the fact she's the daughter of a retired FBI agent who had set his sights on taking down the Francesco crime family. Did I forget to mention that Lorenzo Francesco is the kingpin of the family? Yeah, just imagining that bit of information and writing the review sent chill bumps down both arms as I'm typing. Let me add the frosting to this cake review. It appears a rival mob family is lining things up for a takeover. Ok, you've read the teaser and hopefully read my review. This is one storyline with characters you don't want to miss. Congratulations Piper on another five-star review.

Lorenzo and Sierra meet a few years ago and shared an amazing time together in Cancun. Now she is in trouble and knows the person she can go to in Chicago is Lorenzo. Lorenzo’s family is in the mafia and he can protect her but will she surrender herself to him for that protection. Fast=paced read with plenty of twists and turns and intense, steamy chemistry. I loved the characters and the story really drew me in. A good read.

Made to Beg is the fifth and final book in Piper Stone’s Mafia Masters series. Ms. Stone focuses this romantic suspense on Lorenzo Francesco and Sierra Fox. He is the heir apparent of the Francesco crime family and a member of a secret alliance, The Sons of Darkness. She is a criminal investigative reporter and the daughter of a veteran FBI agent, David Fox. Several years earlier, Sierra and Lorenzo met in Cancun and were intimate. Now, fearing for her life, while on assignment, she turns to him to keep her safe. Will he be able to do so? Will they resume their intimacy? Or will their romantic interests be collateral damage from his dark criminal path? You must read this book to find out.
Yet again, I enjoyed another well-written romantic suspense. Ms. Stone cleverly uses a two-prong plot line in this series. One prong is their romantic journey. The second prong is one of suspense and mystery in the life of crime families. In so doing, Ms. Stone allows readers to follow Sierra and Lorenzo’s journey as they navigate their way through the greed and unending desire to obtain power. I appreciated the rich conversational and internal dialog revealing Sierra and Lorenzo’s backstories. I liked the use of a dual point of view to illuminate their vulnerabilities. Lastly, Ms. Stone’s use of descriptive language paints vivid and memorable scenes. One memorable scene is the one in which Lorenzo holds his younger brother, Stefan, who was shot in the stomach during an assassination attempt. She captures a heartwarming glimpse of brotherly love and the angst of hopelessness that pulls readers into the scene. I felt I was right there. I enjoyed the ending but will not expound on it so as not to give anything away. Thanks for a captivating read, Ms. Stone.

The last book within this series and it goes out with a bang with Lorenzo and Sierra's romance. They had a fling in the past and it was an intense encounter....Now Lorenzo is the first person Sierra thinks about when she needs protection after witnessing a murder...The murder of the Senators son..and now she was in danger. Lorenzo didn't expect to see Sierra again so when she shows up at is door asking for his help,he sees this as an opportunity to have her in his bed once again. In order to have his prorection Sierra must do anything he asks of her and she has no option but to agree. This leads to a torrid affair between them and a sexual awakening for Sierra,she does things she never imagined and the thing she can't comprehend is she likes it. This story is so intriguing because playing out along side the romance brewing between Lorenzo and Sierra is a story that threatens Lorenzos family as the russians want to take over all the Mafia families...Also the fact that Sierra is in danger because she is witness to a crime of an important man. I was really surprised and had a wow moment at the end because I loved the way Piper Stone had tied up all the loose ends at,as the past had repeated itself and instead of being enemies the main Mafia families became allies. This is a very sexual and captivating story and I couldn't stop listening until the end. Yes I audiobooked this baby and it was fabulous the talents of Jack Calihan brought it to life perfectly..Narrating ALL the characters and doing an excellent job of it. Made To Beg was an AMAZING end to a very dark and delicious series,and I Loved listening to it...and always enjoy Piper Stones writing. Superb.

Forewarning - this is not some romance filled with sunshine and rainbows. This is an intense, in your face, read full of spankings and rough sex along with deliciously nail biting mafia suspense and action. If that is offensive to you, please remember that I did warn you.
Lorenzo made a promise to the one woman he has ever cared about, he intends to keep it. When she comes stumbling back into his life; completely shaken, covered in blood, and begging for his protection - he knows that this is the time to keep that promise.
Seirra remembers the man she spent passionately heat filled days and nights with on the island years ago. Now she knew the true man and she has no where to turn except for him for protection, after witnessing what she did. When he makes her the offer of her completely submitting to him in turn for his protection, she has no choice but to agree.
As more secrets are uncovered and truths are revealed - will Lorenzo be able to save what his father and his father’s father worked so hard to build along with protecting the one woman he will ever love?
Piper continues to impress me with her writing, this story is no exception. She had me glued to the book from the first page and I couldn’t put it down until the end. I loved the suspense and guessing over who was the true villain. The grittiness of this story won me over, something I could easily imagine seeing be made into a fantastic mafia movie.

This was such a good suspense romance book wow I’m blown away! This book takes you on quite a ride.
Sierra comes knocking on Lorenzo’s door seeking help. They shared time together in the past and in order for her to live she needs his help.
I wasn’t expecting this to be such a sweet and touching story and Lorenzo to be so f-ing perfect himself! Loved him! He was so nice which was surprising considering how some of these Mafia or alpha male books write the hero to be a ruthless woman hating asshole which gladly, Lorenzo wasn’t.
I loved how most of this was in his POV. Personally, I adore this from a writer. I’m such a Stan for the male perspective. If I was an author, I’d write mostly this way as well. As romance novel readers, we are not typically given the opportunity to see the male POV early on. Mostly every book I’ve read that started with and has had a lot of male POV, is a good one.
Though some parts of this book had me just dying to get to the ending! I could not stop reading this I ignored my husband the entire day lol

Wow this Story certainly was awesome to read, it was hot, mysterious, intriguing and had one guessing right to the end.
Lorenzo and Sierra met up and have a one nights fun with Lorenzo promising that Sierra was his and one day she would be his. Then to his surprise a few years later Sierra turns up in a state. She has just witnessed a murder and only just got away, confessing that she is a reporter she lets him know what happened. However when Lorenzo finds out just who is after her is mad. But he will protect her only if she gives him her total surrender. Before long they both will fall in love, but things get complicated and The Sons of Darkness are called in to help with the Situation.
This is such a great story it definately is worth 5 plus stars

There are so many twists and turns in this book that it feels like your head is turning all the time. Then add in the hot hot passion between these too. But can they stop feelings from getting in the way????
This series is one of my favourites. And these two are just woohoo hot, passionate, strong and determined to get things done!!!

Lorenzo and Sierra are reunited over a brutal act and a flight for life. Bargains are struck, terms are agreed and lust and heat is satisfied with spankings, domination and incredible sex.
But everything has a price and somethings are paid in blood, innocence and lives. There is violence, manipulations, mafia wars, alliances, family, revenge, lust, chemistry, heat, love and new beginnings.
A page turner that will keep you captivated till the last page!! A fantastic series and it was great to visist with character's from the previous books but can still be read as a stand alone (but you will want to read the other books, hot, hot and hotter😉).

This was a good addition to the Mafia Masters series. In this one, the focus is on Lorenzo and criminal investigation reporter Sierra with whom he had a hot BDSM affair couple of years ago and now she needs his help.
The storyline was intense with steamy BDSM scenes. There was enough suspense and intrigue around mafia storyline to keep things interesting and have me glued to my reader.
Sierra and Lorenzo had sizzling hot chemistry. I just found it really hard to believe that Lorenzo didn’t remember her until she told him her name considering their past affair.

I loved this book and have been waiting for Lorenzo's story. He is darker than his friends in the alliance, but he has the same honor. He and Sierra met 4 years ago in Cancun. They had a master/slave relationship, but then they left. Now, Sierra comes to Lorenzo for help. He gives her help, but he requires her in return. This book was intense, incredibly steamy, and had me on the edge of me seat throughout the story. I simply could not put it down! An investigative journalist on the run from one of the most heinous killers, and she runs straight into the arms of the one man that she probably shouldn't be with. I loved how all the books in this series are a standalone, but the interwoven story was great to see the progression. I haven't read all of them, but I did read a few and now I want to read the rest.

Made To Beg is the fifth installment in Piper Stone’s Mafia Masters series. This book provides the story of Sierra Fox, an investigative reporter whose informant is killed and she must seek safety from Lorenzo Francisco, head of Chicago’s Francisco family. The price Sierra must pay for her safety from Lorenzo is being his forever. I could not put this book down, therefore, I recommend this intriguing book.

Wow so much happened in this book I am still reeling from it! An amazing book five in the Mafia Masters series! A compelling on the edge of your seat read that is a well written, fast pace engaging page-turner. There is action, drama, suspense, humour, violence, manipulations, revenge, BDSM, intrigue, and so much more to look forward to in this story. The characters are strong and complex and their chemistry is intense and off the charts! Highly recommended.

A reporter and the mafia..............what a combination
Made to Beg is the fifth book in the Mafia Masters series and it is some seriously Kindle flaming reading. While I started it and it was a bit to get into the story line quickly took off and then took a sharp swerve to the left and into some majorly steamy BDSM hotness, along with a plot that has suspense, intrigue, killers, mafia, darkness and a whole lot more.

This story has a lot of twists and turns in it that kept me interested and unable to put the book down once I started reading it. I really love this author’s books; she never disappoints, and this is another fantastic story. There is a number of steamy scenes between the two main characters. It’s told via both of their points of view. A must read.

Let me tell you, I have fallen hard for every single one of the 5 mob bosses. All of them were monsters in many ways, yet the most tender and honorable men. Especially to those they loved. Lorenzo was no different. His and Sierra's story was filled with trust issues and resentment. But it all ended up as the most important thing...love.
I would highly recommend this book.

Four and a half stars.
I'm not usually a big fan of Mafia books, and avoid them, but this one intrigued me and I'm happy to say that I enjoyed it very much.
I'm pretty sure it's part of a series, due to some of the references, none of which I have read, but it worked perfectly as a standalone, so I didn't feel like I was missing anything.
A balanced mix of heat, discipline and storyline. Perfect!

What has you turning the pages, is the plot twists on will Lorenzo’s territory be taken over by a rival and can Lorenzo keep Sierra safe. The story is fast paced and you will not put it down until you turn the last page.

I love Piper’s mafia stories! This is the fifth book in the Mafia Masters series and it is as good as the other four. It is fast moving story, packed with hate, tenderness, action and dead people. The characters are strong and stubborn. This book has a lot of hot sex with a lot of spankings. If you don’t like rough intense sex then this is not the book for you.

The best of the series...
This is the fifth book in the Sons of Darkness Mafia series and WOW...
Sierra and Lorenzo have known each other for years after a hot and intense week at a resort in Cancun...but when Sierra is lead into a gang killing she runs to the only man she feels can help her..
This i think is the darkest, most suspenseful, dramatic, action packed and anticlimactic of all the books...a definite 5star read for me..

Loved it...
What an amazing ending for an amazing series...Five Alpha's and there chosen ladies...each book a complete story but reading all five in order makes them that more special....if you want to learn of mafia and Russian organisations that infiltrate U.S.A then these will be an eye opener but with a whole lot of heat as each couple go on a journey to discover more about each other. A must read...

Extremely exciting!!
Loved the story. Loads of action and excitement. Lots of bad guys, good guys and guys your not sure of. I got all the way to the end before I figured out the book and that's only because the author told me. Lol. The characters were amazing. They were real and very intriguing. Loved all the books in this series and although they can be stand alone, they are amazing reading them in order.
