About the author

Clare Littlemore

22 books183 followers
Clare Littlemore is a young adult dystopian and sci-fi author who thrives on fictionally destroying the world with a cup of tea by her side. The tea will often be cold, because her characters have a way of grabbing hold of her and not letting go until the final page of their story is finished. They regularly have the same effect on her readers.

As well as being a writer, Clare is an avid reader. In other people's books and her own, she enjoys imagining how the world might look in a few decades and considering how ordinary characters might deal with the extraordinary situations the future throws at them. Clare lives in the North West of England with her husband and two children.

Transfer is told from Harper’s point of view and gives us insight into the day Harper was transferred into another section of The Beck. Harper missed her friends Quinn and Cass but realized that making new friends in her new home was not going to be too difficult. The Girls in this section all looked out for each other too.

Transfer gave me a look into a section of the Beck that I didn’t have when reading the other books in the Flow Series like Flow book one or Break book two or Drift book three or even Quell book four. I also got to know Harper better.

Transfer may be a short story but it draws you in from the first page and packs a big punch just as if it were a full length novel. You get to know some of the characters more and a little bit more about their world and their way of life.

If you like dystopian or young adult books then I believe you will fall in love with Transfer and the whole Flow Series.

Very short and quick read but with wonderful lessons in it. No matter how bad it gets try to focus on a positive to help you through the bad times. You are never completely alone. Can't say much more without spoiling it. Free copy but voluntarily leaving honest review.

Dystopian hardships. Hearing Harper's experience as she goes to Clearance is heartbreaking, but I still enjoyed reading this behind the scenes short story. This is such a great series.
