I'm a science journalist, author, and broadcaster based in Toronto, Canada. I've written three books so far: My first book, Universe on a T-Shirt, looked at the quest for a unified theory of physics, while In Search of Time explored the physics and philosophy of time.

I'm very excited about my new book, The Science of Shakespeare, to be published this April! This time I turn the clock back 400 years, investigating the period we now call the Scientific Revolution, and looking at the interplay between science and literature in the age of Shakespeare.

The book is published in the U.S. by St. Martin's Press and in Canada by Goose Lane.

Do Not Purchase This Without Reading A Sample

I don't think I've ever written a critical review, but I am quite certain that I was duped by nineteen paid reviewers and an unethical author.

There is no way that nineteen people gave this book five stars unless they were paid, or they are very good friends. I have seen some poorly written books on Amazon, but this particular books is literally the worst that I have seen.

It's my own fault for not downloading a sample before purchasing it. The nineteen 5 star reviews convinced me to throw caution to the wind and boy oh boy do I regret it.

I literally feel it is unethical to publish such a mess. And the reviews MUST have been amassed in an unethical manner as well.

Poorly written

A book on writing should not have grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and incomplete thoughts. This book, however, does. Don't waste your time or money.
