Criminal attacks across Taurus Station have left the casinos, clubs and heavy industry in freefall.
Deputy Gage Walker is sent on a mission to stop attacks on local mining rigs. On the edges of a vicious space battle, Walker finds a criminal operation beyond anything the local law had imagined.
With the help of Renegade Fratley Oxonos, a rogue with contacts across a hundred systems, Walker will take on a new threat that could bring Taurus station to its knees.
Racing across wild space, Deputy Walker must prove he's fit to wear the badge and issue his own form of justice...one body at a time.
Experience this exciting second installment in a brand new series set in the Renegade Star universe. If you're a fan of Judge Dredd, Renegade Star, or Borderlands, you'll love this epic, scifi thriller.
“Go big or go home.” This is a rollicking story of adventure, super teams, super villains.. easy read sprinkled lightly with current lawful references that will keep the reader engaged and keeps the plot moving forever forward. A space cloak and dagger storyline, full of intrigue and mystery; at every page turn I found myself deep into sinister plots and unexpected drama. Full of action, fast paced and thrilling, our space station deputy has evolved finely and adapted to the difficult circumstances. A fantastic read, a page-turning, edge-of-your-seat road-trip of a book. Looking forward to reading Galactic Jury #3.
I like how the storyline is developing. Great character development with an intriguing storyline. A rookie deputy sheriff who is thrown into difficult situations who is expected to fail uses his smarts and determination to get the job done. Great intrigue and supporting cast, but are they trustworthy or a wolf in sheep’s clothing biding their time to turn on Deputy Walker?
Another darkly amusing tale from the Union, looking further into the Wild West like reaches of the Badlands, where stupidity often has fatal consequences... underestimating Gage Walker should certainly be considered stupid. Walker is a deep character, slowly coming to life, his supporting cast continue the trend of straight shooting both in talk and deed.
Basically, it’s a great story with some decent chuckles and a boatload of ass kicking...
Very good continuation. Still has lots of humor, exciting situations, Hazard rookie attempts to navigate politics reoccurring bad guys and things he just doesn't understand. Definitely worth a read the action was good scenarios, believable in the universe there set in. I'm eagerly awaiting the next book.
Kind of a change for me in terms of not having an overpowered hero. Great pacing, solid plot, read through it in two days over the weekend mostly sitting by the river. It holds you and while it didn't have me plowing through it to see what happened, it was a great read for just kicking back, grabbing a drink, and enjoying the summer. Given what is going on in the world I kind of needed that.
Well you have done it again another great storyline with plenty of action from Gage Walker . Hopefully we have not seen the last of Red the bad guy lol looking forward to the big fight with them two lol
The story continues with its own unique style and the blend of characters that make it seem real. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait for the next installment.
This is a binary book, there are two of them. It's a super shootout book. If you love action, start to finish, the supsce adventure with a touch of crime is for you. It's no rocket science, just easy reading.
I've just finished reading this immediately after finishing the first in the series. Thanks to the rain gods the lawns are too wet to mow so I'll just have to sacrifice and go read the next in the series. Poor me.
This is a pretty straightforward action story that continues where the previous one ended. There are overtones of some kind of greater story but only hints. This is a quick read and leaves a bit of a tease for the next book.
Engaging, action packed with more plot elements. The world building is growing, the main character is the same, maybe a bit experienced. The human nature is still at its worst, still I think it’s a little better than the previous book. Look forward to read the next book.
Another solid instalment, with multiple layers to unravel. It does drag a little at parts and is occasionally predictable, but there’s nothing overtly annoying.
