Fun ride.

CIA agent Chris and his team are assigned to protect genius scientists Alex from terrorists who have been kidnapping and killing scientists. What Chris wasn’t prepared for was to fall head over heels in love.

This book was nice surprise. I picked it up on a whim and glad I did. There’s romance, action, mystery, secrets, everything! I liked both main characters quite a bit. It was cute seeing their relationship blossoms and go through their hurdles. Also, the supporting characters were great as well. They were a great addition.

Now the mystery wasn’t really shocking, I knew pretty much from the beginning what was going on save for some details, but the journey was still fun.

I just wish this was a few pages longer. I wanted to see more of the reunion, and where Chris and Alex were a few years down the road.

Overall a fun read!

Smart and Sexy

Wow! First read by this author, and I loved it. It had drama, action and last but not least sex and love. Alex, was a smart cookie; that can hold her own, when she needed to protect herself. Was loved by her colleagues, and students, but had no one to come home to at night. Chris, a rugged man who was a trained killer, never made time for love; due to his dangerous profession. Meeting Alex changed the entire trajectory of his life. He was smitten, and needed to be in her presence. That brain of hers, had people out to get her, and use her smarts for evil. Chris, the professional, was beginning to slack on his duties, as he couldn't stay away from Alex. The inevitable happens, and we get to see Chris and his team in action, to save Alex. Shocker about Walter! Was not expecting that. Hoping you have more story to tell us, about Leon/Mel, and Sean/Lisa. Really enjoyed this story! 👍👍👍

Quite intense....

I had to read a couple of chapters before I really got into the book. It was quite intense once the plot started to get deeper. I like how the plot had a few twists and how all the characters connected and entangled.

Chris and Alex were opposite but alike in different ways. They both could have been assassins at how Alex killer instincts kicked in. She knew how to defend herself.

A wonderful read, I would love to read Leon and Mel's story. Leon's life alone seems to be quite interesting. I think he and Mel could complement each other well.

I most definitely would love to see a spin off with Leon.. his character was very interesting!

Action Packed & Edgy

I couldn't put this book down. Ish got real in this book. Sexy assassins, terrorists, stuff blowing up....I felt like I was on the set of Bad Boys, lol! I'm all in the book like, "That's how you do that ish!" This was funny, thrilling and had my adrenaline pumping. I loved every moment of it. The main characters were something else. I loved the bond and felt the love. Awesome read!

Undercover

This story started off slow to me but I continued reading it because I wanted to know what happened to Alex father. I figured there was more to Walter than him being the janitor but I didn't know what exactly. Was he a good or bad guy? Overall it was a good book and I'm looking forward to reading more of this authors work.

She Was As Hell

That is what I thought about Alex. Chris was sent to protect but she had some tricks of her own aside from her smarts. Take the adventure the two of them will take you on.

Loved the mystery, the action and the love of this story.

Skilled

The story was a nice fast-paced story with an interesting plot. A young black chemist with a brain larger than Einstein was caught in a diabolical plot to take over the world. A special ops team of assassins were hired to protect the young genius.

Not a bad read, just boring.

Just a bit boring for my taste and somewhat far-fetched. The big, drawn out conflict in this book was resolved way too easily with the help from a very surprising source 🙄
