He is a mangaka from Tokyo, Japan. He debuted in October 2001 with Nandodemo Roku Gatsu Jū San Hi, and also wrote for the magazine Square Freeze and Love Love Santa, published in November 2001 and in February 2002 respectively. He later moved to Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump, in wich he won the 7th "Story King" section in the same year.
I'm seriously getting frustrated about the Medusa okay. Kill Ibara and get on with that petrification thing! Augh, I seriously want to scream right now—the gang is petrified once again, and it's up to Senku to crack this mystery. And my heart did flutter a little when Hyoga chose to pick the gang as his ally. Man, I feel like crying, that boy really has his faith in Senku and Science. But man, this is really a great read.
This one was quite good, as Senku and all plan to attack Moz and take back the Medusa weapon they are confronted by Kirisama and Minister Ibara and its an all out war and they have to use the tricks of science to escape the surviving doom brought about by it, their plan is to bring back the chief alive and show it to villagers to stop Ibara and also they enlist the help of Hyoga to take down Moz to combat his superior skills and then some tricks are unleashed by Ibara as the stone-turning/petrification is happening again because of something done by Ibara. All hope maybe lost unless Senku does something. Its the final battle to reclaim the island and its fun!
You know Hyoga looks a lot less cool without his cracks (same could be said about Ryusui but at least he has a fun personality). Just removing the cracks really takes away from a lot of the character designs, it makes sense lore wise (somewhat) but visually it’s only a downgrade. A lot of the time I found myself struggling to understand what was happening on certain pages, just some of the panels were a bit awkward to read the action (if that makes sense). Still this volume has its fun bits.
Impressive! I finished it all in one go because it is worth it, rewarding, and fulfilling to see the characters. Even though they are struggling, you are struggling with them. When they are in pain, you also feel for the character 😢
As is typical when it comes to intricate plans to intimidate bad guys in this series, it doesn't go as planned and they have to come up with a clever & witty solution. In this case, all the group's best fighters are not in any way able to compete with the enemy powerhouse. So it comes down to being INCREDIBLY thankful they decided to bring along their prisoners of war; their last bad threat is now their only hope. But it looks like the old man's desperation ploy involves mutual destruction. HOW WILL OUR HEROES GET OUT OF THIS PICKLE? (if you say "science," i'ma slap you upside the head)
Epic artwork continues in Volume 15. I can't thank the writer enough for bringing Hyoga back! The fight between Hyoga and Moz was brilliant! Senku's mates who were just revived in the last volume got petrified again! Seriously? All this Petrification and Revival is now getting old!

Kinro's dedication to his brother was making me tear up in this volume. He and Ginro's bond are one of my favorites to read - first, the ship scene where Ginro wanted to haul him away, and now this... ugh. I want the best for them.
Aside: I fully trust the Bank of Gen. What? He'll scam me? How dare you insinuate such a thing.
The Treasure Island arc is almost over as the final battle starts against the Petrification Kingdom. Throughout the book, the petrification device or Medusa passes from one person to another while turning a bunch of people to stone in the process. Eventually, it all comes down to Senku to save his Kingdom and its people. Though I hate Ibara he is very smart and cunning also physically superior to Senku as well. The ending was great. I really liked this volume overall.
This volume covers Act 3 / the climax of the treasure island arc.
Its a big improvement over the previous few volumes because after a painful opening chapter with the typical science nonsense, it mostly abandons lectures and focuses on action.
And, for the first time in a long while, there is some actual pushback. Ibarra has sniffed out their plan and laid a trap; the drone gambit fails and Senku and co. are forced to flee. This is a good twist because they invested a lot of time and effort into the drone and it was a solid plan. Thwarting a good solution in this manner is an excellent way to create drama and suspense.
So they need to come up with a second plan. Luckily, it doesn’t involve science (massively boring). They decide to take advantage of the now-deserted island to grab the master’s statue and reveal it to the islanders, proving Ibarra’s fraud.
A secondary team is assigned to hold off Ibarra’s forces (and Moz) until the statue team returns. Usually these things go off without a hitch in Dr. Stone but once again we get pushback.
Moz overpowers all of Ishigami’s warriors and Senku is forced to unleash the dangerous and unpredictable Hyoga to counter the island warrior. Hyoga is unsure which side to join, but settles on team Senku, I guess because he respects their skill and effort. Though it’s not clear he can be trusted.
The author adds a quick thematic layer to the fight, with Moz espousing a belief in raw talent and Hyoga in hard work and knowledge handed down through generations. Its an echo of the philosophical conflict between Tsukasa and Senku in keeping with the main series theme — the triumph of science, though Hyoga is an unlikely avatar.
After some back and forth, Hyoga defeats Moz with the help of another improbable invention (ugh). But it doesn’t matter since the fight really turned oh Hyoga’s release and this is just a flourish.
A similar flourish occurs when team 1 finds the statue smashed, but Yuzuriha is able to glue it back together (one of her abilities). There is a short flashback of Soyuz as a baby with his father that provides the volume’s only emotional moments. So while the action is much improved, it still lacks emotional content and character development.
With the statue revealed, kitsune realizes the truth and Ibarra petrifies her. Yo then shoots Ibarra’s hand and he drops the device. Yo recovers it and has visions of glory but cant figure out how to activate the thing. Ibarra gets it back and petrifies Yo. (This is a quick sequence of back and forths adding a little drama and humor). Ibarra then sends a brute to the island’s center to petrify everyone, an unwitting human bomb.
And on that cliffhanger, the volume ends.

Senku wszystko dokładnie przeanalizował i przygotował.
Oba z nich mogą doprowadzić do nieodwracalnej tragedii.
Ho alcune mie ipotesi e vediamo se avrò ragione o no...
A certain privilege afforded only to the human race. The accumulation of knowledge and skill over generations. - Hyoga
Volume 15 concerns the final clash between the Kingdom of Science and the treasure islanders. A clash that will determine who owns the petrification device known as Medusa. Inagaki surprised me with his mastery over tense moments, as the medusa passes from hand to hand, my heart was pumped to see who claimed it in the end. The ending was perfect too, leaving the reader wondering how can Senku escape such a situation.
Nevertheless, there are absurd moments here and then: - How would they get the whole island on board the Perseus? Is the population really small? - There were supposedly 100 warriors on board, and you want me to believe, most of them jumped to the sea after that sorcery scare. - Ukyo hearing Ibara's <2000 meters, 15 minutes> was too far-fetched. It served the plot, though. - Is Ibara thinking of petrifying all his people? He suspects they have a stone-breaking formula, but come on, the odds are too high. What would happen if there is nothing left? How would he revive a single person to torture?
Boichi never disappoints, though. I hate Ibara as a cliche villain, but some of its panels are too good!
It's a solid story overall and full of new trivia!

Senku and the Kingdom of Science are ready to make their move to retrieve the device that causes petrification and save their friends. However, the battle relies on an unlikely ally that could cost them the battle. With new inventions and Senku's clever thinking, the battle is ready to begin!
Similar to the most recent volumes, the inventions come quickly and with greater precision. Less explaining is done since the Kingdom of Science continues to learn more quickly. The action is fast with a lot going on. There are some surprises in store for readers.
The war between the islanders and the Kingdom of Science finally begins in Volume 15, and it’s absolutely fantastic. The action is fast, the twists are wild, and the tension ramps up in all the best ways.
One of the biggest highlights for me was seeing Hyoga return. He’s one of my favorite characters, and his showdown with Moz was crazy. Not only does he hold his own, he wins, and it had me cheering. I didn't expect to see him back in action like that, and it was so satisfying.
But the real craziness? Finding out on the last 2 pages that the entire island is about to be turned to stone. That came out of nowhere and completely raised the stakes.

4.5 *Review of Volumes 13-15* Things are getting heated! I especially did not see the plot twist about the master. The big encounter with the petrification device is especially exciting! Poor mentalist really is performing miracles out here, carrying the team. That cliffhanger at the end was despicable!
So the battle for the Medusa Weapon starts as we see an all out brawl between Senku's forces and Ibara's forces over the weapon. And while Ibara is not as memorable as Tsuakas or Hyoga but his design is still great and this volume helps high light how creepy he is. Also I do like that this series does not abandon past villains as Senku gets so unexpected help.
WAHHHHHAHAHAHA HYOGAAAAAA ykw thinking abt it, that switch up probably wasn't developed great but IDC WAHHHHHHHHH FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC AND THE SECRET IS LOVE WAHHHHHHHHH
did NOT need that close up shot of taijus grippers at the end but ok
I WAS GOING TO SLEEP AFTER THIS HOW TF CAN I JUST LEAVE ON THAT CLIFFHANGER

This was an interesting battle that brings the group closer to find out what is behind the petrification right from the beginning and how it works. The gun was used well and the mystery that happened to the leader of the village becomes clearer and clearer. I found Senkus' dodge was good too.
The arc is almost over, I hope. We abandon most science this volume, instead favouring gunpowder and computers in the water. Yeah, sounds good, right? Throwing your phone in the water, it works perfectly after. Smart! Love me some science.
