I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "TRAPPED" (THE CHILD COLLECTOR SERIES) WOW!!! What a rollercoaster ride this second book takes you on full of intense drama, deceipt, kidnapping, angst, intrigue, suspense a page turner for sure. Shae Sawyer PI still working with Detective Cameron Murphy to find the The Baby Theif, luck would have it Mack's body was found just waiting for her to wake to get information on what happened and if Leah was involved. So much happens Leah leaves the baby boy in a basket to be found she can't handle him and he ends up being kidnapped by a volunteer firefighter and his cousin is involved also will they get the baby back. Then Olive is found at a bus stop near the hospital she's very sick Shae, Cam and Mack go to the hospital and she recognizes Bobo that's Olives bear and she's upset and so is Shae she now worried what will happen to Gemma is Leah getting rid of her girls one at a time. This is definitely a must have series so well written and the characters are great so engaging they pull you right into all drama so well worth the read will Olive survive will they find baby Charlie. AWESOME AWESOME READ!!!!!
With a newborn missing and his mother left for dead, Shaelyn Sawyer is more determined to find the Baby Thief than ever. But when Detective Cameron Murphy sides against the victim, sure she’s the only one to blame, Shae will work even harder to prove that Leah is at the heart of the crime. All she needs is for the girl to wake up and tell her how to find the woman who robbed them both. But will it be that easy?
This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series! Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable. Great suspense and action with that adds so much to the story. Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Wow this series has me hooked and on the edge of my seat. I read this book all in one go. We learn more about Shae and Leah's past. It's fast paced and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. I really hope Leah gets caught soon and Gemma gets rescued from Leah's clutches. I like the way the book has been written from different people's perspective. We learn of what they are feeling and thinking. I will be counting the days to when I will receive the next book. I can hardly wait for the next book. I received an ARC from the author. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review.
This installment had me tearing through the pages!
Shae's past is further revealed as we learn a bit more of her connection to The Baby Thief. Further complications arise as Shae thinks she is getting closer to helping Mackenzie & her little boy, but she's not giving up.
I really like the side of Shae we're seeing. She's a fighter with a warm, yet practical heart. Though she'd like to continue her hunt alone, she sees wisdom in numbers.
I can't wait for the next book. Each POV drew me in, making it harder to wait for the next chapter, the next line.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
Shae, a private investigator, is working with Cam, a police detective, about an open case from when she was on the police force known as the Baby Thief. As the story progresses new clues come to light, differing opinions create a rift, and once the story is told even more disturbing things are found. W.L. Knightly’s newest series has me hanging on for the rest. While not a Who-Dun-It there is still plenty of mystery to be found and leaves you guessing just when you think it couldn’t get any more twisted.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
The story picks up right where it ended in book one and takes you on a roller coaster ride! Again, I was at the edge of my seat and devouring page after page. We learn more about Shea’s connection to The Baby Thief. She is determined to find Leah and rescue Gemma. I really like how strong Shea is and enjoy her character development. And I hope Cameron will get through to her and she will finally tell him her secrets. Storyline continues to be engaging with plenty of suspense and new twists and turns. Can’t wait for the next book!
I received an advanced copy of this book from author and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Book 2 and I just couldn't put it down. The suspense was killing me. Now that Mackenzie has been found and staying with Shae, she is more than ever determined to take Leah down. When will Cam discover why Shae is so invested in this woman?? I'm assuming the next book. Now that Olive has been found and in the hospital will she be one of the keys to taking Leah down for good so no other girl will get hurt?? I so cannot wait until book 3. If you are looking for a book to keep your interest from start to finish, a book that is well written with enjoyable characters then this is the one for you.
Book two continues as Cam and Shaelyn continue trying to find the baby killer. They are trying to decide if Mack is a victim or someone who hurt her child. Shae can relates to Max and knows she is a victim. Cam and the coroner think that Max hurt her baby and herself. Leah is slowly mooring it. Gemma is finally realizing that her mom may be a little strange. And poor Olive gets sick. There are several twist in this book. And Shae realizes that her child is out there. Can't wait for the next book. I was given this book for an honest voluntary review
This is book 2 of the Child Collector series. The story picks up right from the end of book 1. I actually had to go reread the last chapter of book 1 so I keep up with the action. Leah is a killer with a twisted mind. All of the other characters allow me to stay invested in what they do or what happens next. The authors writing style keeps me glued to every word. Book 3 can't get here fast enough. I was given a copy of the book from the author in exchange for my honest review.
This is the second book in The Child Collector series that had me devouring the pages. Intriguing storyline and the characters bring the story to life. We get more details into Shae's past and her connection to Leah. Will Shae and Cameron figure out how to stop The Child Collector? I am looking forward to the next book in this series and definitely recommend you reading these books. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Just when I thought things couldn't get any crazier, Leah makes another move. Shae and Cam are slowly putting pieces together to track down the baby thief. She's a slippery one with just enough desperation to make her dangerous. I'm loving the insanity of this chase and the twist and turns this story is taking. This story only makes me want more. I'm ready for book 3.
Wow. What a great series. I am fully invested in it. Cam and Shea are having trouble communicating but are so close to finding Leah. Gemma is beginning to rebel and poor little Olive is having stomach problems. MacKenzie could hold the key to everything. Leah is starting to panic and contemplating moving the family elsewhere. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next one.
Wow! Wild ride, I need the next book like yesterday lol. I enjoyed this so much, can't wait til she gets what's coming to her. I love most of the characters but that bad apple omg! I don't think hate is a strong enough word.
I received a review copy from the author and voluntarily choose to reveiw
This is such a good story. I love the characters. The plot. All of it. I couldn’t put the book down.
It’s hard to leave a review that doesn’t give away too much. But Leah continues to wreak havoc and evade Shae. Mack and her baby seem to be alive and well... though a new kidnapper makes an appearance. I can’t wait to read the next installment of this series.
Holy cr*p this is an awesome book, so much is going on. I couldn’t put it down and read it in a few hours. Shae is getting closer to Leah and things are starting fall into place. You learn more about Shae and her background. I literally cannot wait for the next book
Basically the same review as the first book. Awkward “love” interest, overly short for a single book, slightly stilted dialogue. But fun for a quick distraction.
