This book includes a lot of sexy shifters, and it should only be read by romance lovers who are 18+.

This book was a quick read but in my opinion it was not well planned and there were many plot holes that made this book less enjoyable.
Firstly how the hell could someone be a shifter and not know? is the ability to be a shifter only achieved after someone tells you that you can shift?
I don't see how the fathers money could have just vanished? there is always a paper trail, people are named as a benefactor in a will etc. there must have been a lawyer or someone that was in charge or money transfer and as next of kin she should have been able to find that information out.
If there was a pack or what ever protecting her how was it she was just left to be penniless and kick out of her home? why didn't she just get a job and her own place?
Not sure why her family back story was hidden from her especially if they were such a danger to her. Not sure what killing her would have done for the brother it did not guarantee him the top job.
I didn't really feel much of a connection with the couple either.
I do love it when a book has an epilogue which this book did so points for that, but overall not that great. This book felt rushed and not well planned out, with so many books in the genre you need to be special and or different to stand out and this book just was not either.
Lira is confused and upset with her life. Her father Charles was a very important man and when he died she ended up with hardly anything to live on she didn't understand what happen to the money but she had disappointed him and she felt guilty because she hadn't done anything with her life after college and she felt loss now and she she is running away not knowing who and what she really is or where she is going, and then when she jumped into a box car she finds herself looking outside and seeing the biggest beast she had ever seen with green eyes it scared her but she set back. When she woke up the train was stopping she thought they had found her out, but it was a homeless man getting on and he talked to her and made her feel comfortable while he assured her that they were not looking for her something else happened on the tracks she was safe. Or was she because she should have know not to take anything from a stranger. She finds herself in a harrowing situation. Serge is part of her security and has been for many years unbeknownst to Lira but now he has to find her and make sure that Raven is not trying to hurt her. Interesting short story line. HEA. I was given a copy as a gift from the author without obligations. I am providing an honest review.
Lyra grew up never knowing her abilities. Her father has passed and her life has tumbled to ruin. She hopes a train to go start anew somewhere else. Her half-brother Raven takes her and wants to kill her and she doesn't know why. Serge comes to her rescue and explains her family history and her status. Liked the ending.
Family secrets, a feeling of failure, and a dangerous stranger all combine to make Alpha's Command an exciting story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Looking forward to more from this author.
Blink-and-you-missed-it short. A bunch of questions are raised, but none of them are answered. And the little we know makes little to no sense. At least there weren't any typos and the writing isn't terrible.
Listened to a freebie audio file version of the book. Somehow it seemed strange hearing a woman read such a story. The music filler at the end seemed eerily out of place as well.
Short, sweet & to the point. Good intro if new to author. Heroine's early life shrouded in mystery. Hero saves her from bad guy and reveals truth about her and her family's past.
