I see my other lives, a career in the Marines, those damn hand-written tests in law school, a business consultant, as if they're stories from a book. I see my books as if I lived there, as if I were friends with the characters. All things we remember are behind us, only those we imagine lie before.

I'm not sure which place I prefer, but I don't have to choose. They live together in my mind. My books have some award nominations, they have bestseller tags across multiple countries. I write about justice, honor, and loyalty because that's what I care about. My stories are mostly set within worlds that haven't been, but could be. We have to be ready for when those times come.

No matter where I went, I always had a book with me. Thanks to 21st Century technology, I now have hundreds of books loaded on my phone and always with me. This breakthrough allows me to binge read my favorites. How many books would I have read on deployments had I not had to have a physical book with me? I paced myself so I wouldn't finish too quickly.

We aren't encumbered like that now. I love the works of Robert Heinlein, Anne McCaffrey, JRR Tolkien, Robert E. Howard, and so many more. I have been compared to Andre Norton and that is humbling - she was an incredible author with a huge list of novels to her credit. With every new book, I aspire to live up to those that you, the readers, have compared me to.

Through a bizarre series of events, I ended up in Fairbanks, Alaska. I never expected to retire to a place where golf courses are only open for four months out of the year. But that's the way it is. It is off the beaten path. My wife and I get to watch the northern lights from our driveway. Our dog has lots of room to run. And temperatures reach fifty below zero. We have from three and a half hours of daylight in the winter to twenty-four hours in the summer.

It's all part of the give and take of life. If we didn't have those extremes, then everyone would live in the sub-arctic.

Amazing post apocalyptic!

Every once in a while I like a good post-apocalyptic story. I don't like how most of them end. But this one doesn't end now, I just got the Bad Company series. Before I read that, I am going back to the beginning to read Death Becomes Her. I feel like I am becoming a groupie, even get emails from Craig! The characters are very real and likeable. I also like Were beings. I'm not a fan of vampires, but somehow Craig/Michael turned some of then into good guys, amazing. On a technical note, there are no misspellings or grammatical errors, these drive me crazy. (I edit books for a friend. If I got a dollar for each comma...) I couldn't wait to read the next page. I highly recommend these books! Thank you authors for a job well done.

Great Saga

Terry Henry Walton is an enhanced human who lost all. After the apocalypse hit his family was destroyed. The killers did not survive his rage at the murder of his wife and child. He lost himself in the wilderness for many years until he is driven to a return of civilization where he finds kindness and purpose. The books are filled with adventurer, growth, honor, and relationships. I like the action, humor, and love (both romantic and fraternal). I look forward to the next step into space.

fantastic

What a great series. I just fell in love with all of the characters. I loved th and char to begin with and then to be able to see their back story and how much their family means to them makes them mean even more. Gene is hilarious. The epic fight scenes. Craig did a masterful job of telling the tales of the 150 hrs the the books covered. Thank you so very much for bringing this series to an amazing ending\beginning into space.

What a great series!

Just finished the whole 10 book series and loved each one, not a dog in the bunch. I have seen Terry and Char mentioned in a few of the other KU books but had never really read the whole of the best. I'm not going to drop any spoilers because I can't stand that, Ill just say I'm mad I waited so long. Excellent books and a great story. I'm reading Bad Company now and will keep on going. Thanks Craig and Mike!

Addictive series

Terry and Char grabbed me and wouldn't let go. Their love for each other and dedication to help humankind pulled me in from the beginning and kept me reading to the end. I can't wait to start on the next set of books to see what happens in space. Their integrity and pure souls are so refreshing. The creative cursing is hilarious, but Bethany Anne will surely teach TH more unique twists on his old standards!

This was awesome!

I absolutely loved this world Craig and Michael built for Terry Henry Walton. From the time he comes down from the mountains to his beginning of the FDG. He man’s moral compass is his guiding light for the rebuilding of civilization. All the people he meets, the people he brings into his life…it’s just an awesome story. I really enjoyed reading the box set- going from one book to the next with no interruptions!

Don't miss this set!

The characters and situations in this series are not to be missed! Craig (and Michael) have created a believable story line about what could happen after the world blew itself apart! Terry Henry is a great hero even though some situations he finds himself in may not seem heroic! This is a great series I would recommend to anyone who enjoys Bethany Anne, Michael and the rest of the Kutherian gang! A++++

Great series!

I really enjoyed the Terry Henry Walton series. It checked off so many boxes of what interests me in a book and series: Post-apocalyptic story, fantasy, science fiction, even mystery, suspense and a little magic! I've been reading other parallel series in the Kurtherian Gambit Universe and enjoy seeing characters weave in and out of all the books/series. I'm excited to see Terry, Char and the gang when they go to space for more adventures!

After WWDE

Amazing world through never fully explained world's worst day ever seems to be an all out nuclear war. Recovery from this brings it the worst in some and best in others. Love the stories and how sometimes the difference between good and bad is only who benefits most from the act. Bring on more please.

Great Series

When I read the first book, I felt it was entertaining but not earth shattering. After I read the second book and followed the characters and was drawn into the post apocalyptic world, I was hooked and had to finished the series. I am starting the next series ASAP.

Holy Scrap Boys!

How do I explain the epicness of this series? I can't! The only complaint I have is why keep calling Joseph, Andrew, and Petricia Forsaken? Aren't they just Vampires now?

Also my favorite quote in the whole series: "You can’t wait to try some of those MREs,” she said coldly. He threw up his hands. “But I have some killer recipes!”

The whole series is interesting. Book 1 was very battle oriented which was hard for me to read but it had a great payoff in the end. The rest of the series to me, wasn't so relentlessly battle oriented. My favorite is the one where they have to practice pomp and circumstance and protect the "right" people.

Good read

Tells a good story, taking a journey of 150 years over 10 books.
Characters stay true to form, love, loss, personal growth, etc.
Post -apocalyptic, rebuilding society, etc.
Will probably read more of Martelle.

Great series

I especially loved the beginning of this series. It was really interesting to see all the things that people had to go through to restart humanity. I loved the characters and was sad to see the beloved humans pass from age.

Can’t believe I read the whole thing

Just couldn’t get away from TH. Really enjoyed the whole series. Yes I read all 10 in a row. Settings changed enough to keep it interesting. Crazy good characters. May have seen one typo but I won’t swear to it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Nomad series. Craig Martele and Michael Anderle do not disappoint! Lots of action with characters you either love or love to hate! I read on Kindle Unlimited but I think it needs to be added to my physical library as well!

What could happen if we let it

I have read a lot of fantasy books, these were very different and most enjoyable. The books each had their own twist, most not what I was expecting!
