My relationship with Royal Fitzpatrick has always been complicated and messy. At times, it’s even been incredibly painful.

When I finally decide to stand up to him our senior year, unable to take another second of his bullying, Royal does the last thing I expected – he promises to change his evil ways.

But I’ve been hurt by him for too long. He’s a lost cause.

We are a lost cause.

At least that’s what I tell myself for months until I see him actually become the good, kind man I knew he could be.

Unfortunately, Royal still has secrets, ones he’s intentionally kept from me and his best friends.

So while I was stupidly planning our future together, Royal was just trying to make amends before he says a final goodbye.

An EXCEPTIONAL read!
OMW! One box of tissues and a sore back later, and I have no words that can express how deeply this story has crawled through my defenses and is embedded in my soul! Once started, I could not move away until ever word was read. Having read all three of author L. A. Hart’s novels about the Mercy Academy, I have to say Royal’s story captured every emotion and wrapped itself completely around my heart. I can’t describe why without spoiling the story for those who have not yet experienced this dark yet incredibly compelling coming of age romance. The way that Royal and Hannah dance around the angst, worry, and overwhelming emotions typical for those between the teens to twenty years of age were both unique and familiar. Unique in that I saw in their life experience something totally new. Something I have never felt. Yet their volcanic emotions were all too familiar and so eloquently described by author Hart’s easy to read yet undeniably descriptive prose. As do the rest of the novels in this trilogy, HAVE MERCY screams, “Rich folk have troubles, too!” and illustrates how having money does not keep trouble away from the lives of the kids born into a life of privilege. Concurrently, money can make those problems even bigger to surmount. The characters are memorable and extremely realistic. The story is credible, complex, and compelling. I jumped at the chance to voluntarily read an early copy of HAVE MERCY, and STRONGLY suggest that you purchase your copy of this excellent novel, today. HAVE MERCY has rightly earned a 5+STAR rating and is a MUST-READ recommendation. In fact, if I could, I would give it more stars. For anyone who likes the new adult trope, with some really thought-provoking, page-turning, drama, HAVE MERCY should be your next romance purchase. Accordingly, this story may hold triggers for some, gets pretty specific sexually, and should be read by those who are 18 or older. The MERCY ACADEMY Trilogy is outstanding, and HAVE MERCY is the best of this exceptional series. This is my VOLUNTARY review of a MUST-BUY novel. I will be reading EVERYTHING author L.A. writes! Happy pages! 😉

I'm sad to see this series end but what better way to end this series than with the enigma that is Royal Fitzpatrick! Royal and Hannah love to hate each other and hate to love each other but it's those relationships that always end with the best HEA! We've followed Royal and Hannah since they were first introduced in book one but we never truly got the "WHY" as to the hate for one another; however, all is revealed in this intriguing story about friendship, hate, anger, lies and second chances. Prepare to be consumed!

Hannah and Royal

This series was so unbelievably wonderful. I adored Hannah and Royal. It had been a rollercoaster ride from one situation after another. Royal has secrets he doesn't tell anyone. Hannah thinks Royal has hated her since freshman year. There are many secrets between each other. Many questions they each need answers to.

Review to come, this was brilliant!

Review—

So the MC’s meet for the first time at camp. Our h is a really good girl who believes in sex after marriage but our H is the typical bad boy. They are both kids when they get together and he seduces her. They are both each others firsts.

The only thing they didn’t do is have full on sex until the very end of the camp when they are about to leave. The h loses her virginity to the H and the H didn’t get a bj from her at that camp 😂

There is a huge misunderstanding, because of jealous friends, that drives them apart. They don’t talk for more than two years. In the interim the h is celibate, the H doesn’t have sex or do anything else with other girls but he gets bjs because he thinks that’s the only thing the H and h didn’t do and so it wouldn’t remind him of the h.

They both love each other and when they finally decide to get together, the H enters the army. But before he leaves he finally proposes marriage to her.

It was really well written, my only complaint is there no more passionate or sexy scenes between the MC’s when they finally get together. I wish we got to see the wedding and wedding night or something and their two weeks together when he came home from the army and there was an epilogue but not long enough.

It was a very sweet romance because of the maturity that the H undergoes.

3.75 stars-- HAVE MERCY is the third and final? Instalment in L.A. Hart’s contemporary, young adult to new adult MERCY ACADEMY romance series. This is Royal Fitzpatrick, ,and Hannah Morgan’s story line. HAVE MERCY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: Some of the events of HAVE MERCY run parallel to, and over lap with the events of Beg for Mercy #1, and Crave Your Mercy #2.

WARNING: Due to the some of the story line content, there may be some triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Hannah and Royal) following two timelines ( and six years) HAVE MERCY focuses on the acrimonious relationship between high school frenemies Royal Fitzpatrick, ,and Hannah Morgan. At sixteen years of age, Royal Fitzpatrick was struggling with a direction in life, and found himself ‘volunteering’ at the local church camp where he would face several classmates including Hannah Morgan but Royal’s life was no bed of roses, and his surly attitude and growing anger made life miserable for our story line heroine. A summer romance ended when the requisite mean girls and jealous friends ensured Hannah and Royal never spoke to one another, again. Fast forward two years, to graduation wherein Royal’s life continues to spiral out of control but his love/hate for Hannah continues to burn. What ensues is the ongoing caustic and acerbic relationship between Hannah and Royal as they prepare for their post-secondary futures.

HAVE MERCY has all of the hallmarks of a young adult story line including mean girls, jealousy, a love triangle, abusive / oblivious adults, and the requisite heart break for our leading couple. Royal Fitzpatrick is the ultimate bad boy but a bad boy whose home life is battered and bruised. Hannah Morgan struggles with her attraction to a young man whose reputation is further destroyed by the actions of others resulting in Royal’s decision to walk away from it all. The premise is heart breaking and emotional; the romance is full of teenaged angst and misgivings; the characters are broken, energetic and lost.

IF EVER I WANTED TO BANG TWO PEOPLES HEADS TOGETHER HANNAH AND ROYAL ARE AT THE TOP OF MY LIST!!!!!
Everyone thinks Royal Fitzpatrick has the perfect life. His parents are rich, he is good looking, plays football so he has lots of girl after a little bit of him. But if honest his father is over bearing, abusive and uncaring. He takes his anger out on Royal and leaves so many bruises on him but they are always out of sight. After Royal drives his car through a church his father makes him go to a summer church camp. Royal is not impressed but then sees that Hannah is there and sets out to get her.
Hannah is a good girl, all she wants to do is paint and help people. Her parents are very supportive of her. Hannah's life is good except the girls at the camp wont talk to her, so she is very lonely so when Royal starts showing her attention she soaks it up and it isn't long before feeling start to happen.
But then something happens that throws them apart to the point that hate each other. But can they talk about it??
Then a year later a good friend tries to help them out but can stop hating each other long enough to talk it through????
I really care about these two when they are together everything is right in the world. The way they can talk about anything and everything. The banter is so good and it made me smile. But the chemistry is so magical I was worried my kindle would burn up. Its hot but so caring and loving it just made me go all gooey for these two Its real love the perfect person to balance out their life's. And if it wasn't for jealousy getting in their way from other people they wouldn't of wasted so much time together.
I have loved this series and I'm going to really going to miss all of them. But I know that Lane Hart will have something else in store for us and I cant wait!!!!!!!!

Let's go... Let's go get ready for another book...
Another book from an amazing author that I really adore.
L.A. Hart aka Lane Hart has created this series that will make you not only blush but to see life with other eyes.
Have Mercy is the third book from the Mercy Academy and you must read the first to book.
Each book portrait the lives of one of the three friends and so much happens...
Just grab your copy and dig in.
This new book explores the lives of Royal and Hannah.
Royal is the typical bad boy. He doesn't take shi*** from anyone and doesn't have mercy.
One night stands are his motto but...
Hannah is fed up with being treated badly by Royal and decides to stand up for herself and forget about him but sometimes what our head wants our heart doesn't.
My heart is so full I'm afraid it might burst... Oh boy.
This book was perfect in every imperfect way.
Each chapter had so much going on that I was mesmerized by it.
Superb plot, very well written, super intense and special.
It was the perfect rollercoaster.
It was the perfect way to see a damaged guy with no hopes or dreams. He only had pain and a facade that hides him from others.
She was perfect too, and despite the pain, she never lost herself.
These two shared great chemistry and it was perfect to see them together.
Of course that bot everything was a bed of roses because we were hit by a few thorns...
Overall it was perfect and I didn't want it to end.
Perfect L.A. Hart. Simply perfect.  I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book

2.5 stars, this wasn't bad but their buildup in the previous two books made the relationship seem super antagonistic and intense but here it was kind of just ... lukewarm? like where's the drama where's the angst there was so much potential.

Have Mercy by L.A. Hart a five-star read that shines like Royalty. This is number three in the Mercy Academy series and they each focus on a different main character, I have loved meeting them all and can only hope that we get to see more of the characters from the school, maybe in a spin off or something? Or just another part of the story. Anyhow Royal and Hannah will just astound you, they have a journey that will make you smile, it will make you want to punch someone and then make you cry, not necessarily in that order. Royal has all the makings to either break and fall to pieces or break and be made into something stronger. But you will need to check this out to find out which, thankfully Hannah is there to help sort those pieces but sometimes you have to realise that broken pieces can’t be mended. But Hannah has a journey of her own to make and she needs to learn that she has to learn to help herself before she can help anyone else. Never before have I wanted to go to church camp, but this one made me desperate to spend a summer helping. This is an amazing story, and one you need to read.

I'm disappointed in this book as much as I am with the second one.
It felt unfinished. A lot of things didn't get closure or if they did, as the reader I didn't witness it.
I expected a lot more when I read about Royal's family. But no, we see his father twice, his mother not a single time and the necessary confrontation didn't happen. When we learn he didn't really cheat, I really thought he would get revenge on his father and get back on the football team and have the possibility to pass the SATs again and be able to go to college. That was not as much as important as I thought it would be for Royal. Reading that Hannah saying he was not good in bed was the fuel to his hatred was so stupid.
Same with Hannah. We learn in the first book that she was outcasted by Royal, but in this one, she doesn't feel outcasted to me. You would think some bullying would happen, but no. She has Maddie but she doesn't mention her former friends or what really happened with them?! When the book begins, Hannah wants to belong, she wants to be liked. She's not and it doesn't seem to bother her. I felt confused.
The whole thing with Garett seems like a convenient thing for the whole plot but it's wonky, Royal actually showed some maturity in the books so to see him being so naive and easily manipulated was out of character.

I didn't like the ending. They went from being just together with a lot of miscommunication and mistrust in their couple to married. How can this work? And then he leaves for 4 years! I wanted some epilogue and to see more of the other two couples.
That series definitely leaves a taste of unfinished. I think I liked the first one too much and had high expectations for the next two.

I'm interested in Sophie's story though! It's nice to see the popular cheerleader being a nice person for once in a high school romance (I mean she still sided with Royal over Hannah and didn't show remorse but)!

Royal Royal Royal

I didn’t really have high expectations for Royal’s story. I thought he was kinda dumb in Blake’s story. His thinking process in regards to getting his best friends together again was just dumb at best. His heart was
in the right place though, so I didn’t hate him. In this story I didn’t know what to expect in how it was going to start. I liked that there was a beginning to his and Hannah’s relationship. At Church summer camp no less. I liked their chemistry. It was sweet that they were each other’s firsts for so many things.
Biggest problem for me was just how much avoiding there was in this story. Both didn’t handle their problems or emotions well. But again what teenager ever does? And to heighten Royal’s rage was the fact that his father was extremely abusive and his mother never sided with him ever. And he never once told his friends. He was always so alone.
So much time goes by with them missing out on something great that was likely always meant to be.
It was cute, it had some good moments. Not a lot going on with the other two previous couples, which felt like a missed opportunity for catching up. But it was written to coincide with the same timeframe as the other two stories, just in Royal’s POV of what was going on during their senior year.
All in all, well written and good characters. Just wanted more.

This is the third book in the Mercy Academy series. I loved the first two books and was so excited to read this one. I would recommend reading these in order as the characters from the other books are present in this one.

Have Mercy is Royal and Hannah's story. I got sucked into the story with the prologue and couldn't put it down! I felt for Royal from the moment the book started. This book started the summer before Junior year. Royal wrecked his car into a church and the church pastor wanted him to do a camp thing to give back to the community. He didn't want to go, but when he was there he ran into a girl from his school named Hannah. During the 4 week church retreat Hannah got Royal to put in work and would hang out with him after. They started having feelings for each other.

The last day of camp things were said to each other, but not by each other and they stopped talking. One year later and they are both seniors in high school. Royal made Hannah the pariah of the school and wouldn't allow other people to talk to her except her one friend who is going out with another guy from one of the other books.

Feelings for each other are still there, but they both hate each other from the betrayal they feel from the other. They reconnect towards the end. Can they forgive each other, or will their feelings tear them apart again. Throughout this book both characters have a chance to grow. I loved this book and am sad the series is over.

Book three has brought us full circle it started with Aric, then we herd Blake story now its time for Royal all these young men had secrets all of theme friends all of theme not as well of as they let people believe and it took 3 very different girls that both tame there ruff edges and heal there pain.

Royal is the constant bad boy who spends allot of time in trouble his father is and abusive piece of work that leads him to act out and the summer of junior year he goes to far crashing his car and getting put to work at church camp were Hanna and he became more then friends but Royal let lies get in the way and made Hannas life miserable the one girl who wanted better for him. But now that everything is almost over and he's about to get away from his family and join the Army his and Hannas life will come back together.

Hanna I have my own insecurities my own problems i opened myself up to Royal and he threw it in my face spread lies made my life awful no friends except for one girl and now he wants to be forgiven promises to do better i want to believe him but when its all over he will be in the Army and I will go to College can we make it work.

I have loved this series and I'm sad to see it end i really hope there is recap on how they all ended up years later.

I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and I have also purchased a copy for myself.

I loved every second of this book. I am so sad there is so little of it. I want more😭😭😭. I want to know more about Royal and Hannah's married life now that he is back from the military. I want more. Royal is definitely my favourite. He has a special place in my heart. I just feel like everything in this book was rushed. I want more from their future together. I want their marriage scenes. The author could have written more scenes between him and his parents. Also more romantic scenes between him and Hannah. Anyway I love him ❤️. And Sophie is my queen 👑. She's more of a friend to Royal than his besties Aric and Blake. She did more for him and Hannah than they did themselves. She was straight forward and smart. She knew there was something wrong just from hearing the recording and knew it could be a plot since Garrett had the recorder ready at the exact moment Royal was going to shit talk. She did the right thing and confronted Royal right away. Iam just sad Garrett got away literally without any repercussions. He even got to be the football team captain. After the shit he pulled. Meanwhile poor Royal lost his whole future. I am also mad that Royal's dad never faced any consequence for his actions. This author never lets any of her negative characters face any sort of karma.😡. Not a single bad person had to face any form of consequence for their actions.
All those stars are for Royal.

L.A. Hart left the best story of the Mercy Academy Series to the last and it does not disappoint! Throughout the other two books, Royal Fitzpatrick was always the unpredictable one in the friendship trio along with Aric and Blake. Royal kept the trouble and pain his father subjected him to daily from everyone and continued to project the bully/bad boy reputation that was intended to keep others from learning his secret. He has had a crush on Hannah for as long as he could remember and finally wins her over only to lose her due to some conniving from a by who had his own sights set on her. For Hannah, she thought they were becoming a couple after their time at camp only to fall victim to the same deception. This book has such an unexpected turn at the end that caught me by surprise but made the book more perfect. I know this is supposed to be the last in the series but I hope that L.A. Hart's hint that she might do another book that will showcase Sophie's story and if that happens, I would love to hear how Aric and Maddie, Blake and Caroline and definitely Royal and Hannah's lives have progressed. This is one Series you need to add even if you are like me and don't normally do the teen angst genre. This Series will convince you that they are worth reading.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.

ONE DEEPLY TOUCHING WHIRLWIND!!!
Explosive! Lane delivers one intensely dark and thrilling approach, spinning this unbelievable web of deep seeded self hatred, with this incredible, brilliantly composed piece of perfection, with such an arresting storyline and gripping plot, wrapping this bad boy up sleek, shiny and tight. A tumultuous whirlwind of intimidating trials and challenging tribulations, along with the explosive twists and wicked turns, puts our characters through their paces, testing them in ways they could have never anticipated. Revealing the drama, intrigue, turmoil, underlying threats, abuse, deception, secrets, chilling suspense and nerve racking situations along with a boatload of heartache, you have one chart topping masterpiece. Anarchy, escapades and havoc run amuck, blowing this jewel into a churning tempest, bursting it into a hissy with an eye-opening culmination. The characters, banter, interactions, charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits, blend and flow, transforming into genuinely approachable personalities. The scenes are written with such realism, impressive passion, imagination and unique insight, blasts this sparkling jewel wide open, making the storyline pop. Amazing job Lane, thanks for sharing this treasure with us.

What a bad attitude!

Royal is angry and acting out - he's been abused for years by his dad and can't see any way out. When he's sent to a summer church camp as punishment for his latest antics, Hannah is the last thing he expects. Supportive, kind and giving, Hannah quickly becomes his anchor that summer. He craves her affection and approval and begins to have hope for the first time in a really long while.

When they are pushed apart, his rage gets the better of him. Always seeing the worst in himself, he believes that he's unworthy of Hannah. So incensed by perceived poor treatment by her, Royal does everything he can to drive her away.

The product of an abusive home, Royal is an angry and depressed young man. While he shows a strong, cocky facade to the world, his self esteem has been shredded and he teeters on the edge. His struggle to find a way out and to become the man he wants to be is emotional and uplifting. Royal's transition from that angry young man into a purpose driven adult makes for an intense read.

Mentions of alcohol, drug use, abuse and mental illness might be difficult for some readers.

The third bad boy at Mercy Academy finally gets his story. Before their Junior year, Royal and Hannah were at camp together and acted on their long hidden desires for each other. But a classmate and fellow camper, Garret, has always liked Hannah but she considers him as only a friend, so to break up Royal and Hannah, Garrett tells lies to each of them about the other. For a year and a half Royal treats Hannah like crap, calling her names in front of their classmates, and being rude. Royal seems to have the life of a well brought up rich kid, but his dad is severely abusive, and Royal can’t wait to graduate and be out of the house so he enlists in the army. And even if a mutual friend can get to the bottom of what happened two years ago, and Royal and Hannah get back together, will it really make a difference? How can a newly begun relationship work when they will be apart for four years. Royal in the army and Hannah away at college. Love love loved these two!!! I have been curious about their history and excited for their story throughout the previous books. This is book 3 of an incredible high school stand alone series. One of my favorite parts of series is getting to see different point of views during similar time frames, as well as catching up with favorite past characters. Gangs all here and present and we get to dive deeper into the Royal/Hannah scenes that intrigued us previously. Thank goodness!
Royal, man that boy has my heart!! Such a crappy hand he was dealt, which made for his tough exterior. The man on the inside was an unexpected, wonderful suprise though. Him and Hannah's chemistry was amazing. His wit was everything, and poor Hannah had no choice to give in. Hannah was a great character as well. I loved how she was so different than the previous heroines, I really connected with her and all she went through. Absolutely loved the true high-school feelings, and emotional vulnerability presented.
Definitely read this series!!

I lost sleep could not put down. Great end to the series.
Royal is a troubled teen with a horrible father. He is being dropped off at a camp for kids that is for helping the community. He doesn't want to be there so he is pretty much rude to everyone there.
Hannah is there a camp feeling alone because no one talks to her for some stupid teen age jealousy.
Royal thinks of he is mean to Hannah she'll let him see her naked. Little does Royal know that's not happening. Stupid hormones of a teenage boy. Instead they became friends which was much better because their feelings grew stronger for one another. Royal would go into her room every night. It finally happened, Royal got to see Hannah for the first time in all her glory. They had struggles along the way but once out of school things changed. Royal got away from his father & was able to with they only girl who he felt really ever loved him.

Have Mercy is an emotional,
beautiful, tragic story. Royal and all that he lives with at home and Hannah the good girl find each other at church camp where Royal is sent by his dad after getting in trouble.
These two have to overcome so much, most of which is caused by outside influences and misunderstandings. After camp they get back to school at Mercy and things don't get any better. After two years they FINALLY have that long overdue talk and get things straightened out only for yet another obstacle to come in to play. This book has been such a great read from start to finish and an emotional rollercoaster to say the least. I wanted to hurt Royals family so bad and wrap him all up. I don't like bullies at all but this book did cause me to pause and think about what their home life must be like or must have been like to cause them to be the way they are. This is a very well written, thought provoking read.

Mercy Academy has some of the richest, talented and gorgeous students around, but that doesn't stop them from being as messed up (perhaps more) than anybody else. In this series, we've met three best friends, Aric, Blake and Royal, who rule the school. Handsome, athletic and arrogant, they could have any girl they wanted... except perhaps the ones they want the most.

When Royal's father banishes him to bible camp for the summer after having crashed his car into a local church, the last thing he expects is to develop a meaningful relationship with good girl Hannah, let alone experience a chemistry with her that defies belief. When they crash and burn due to external forces working to destroy their love, everything turns sour and mean. High school is a hotbed of vicious rumors, social royalty and rejects. Misunderstandings and misconceptions galore have us twisting and turning, but always rooting for the unlikely couple.

This is the final book in the Mercy Academy series, and we learn all about Royal & Hannah. You’ve always seen them be angry-ish with and around each other, but here you get their whole story. When they first officially met and spent the summer together at camp, how they spent all their time together, firsts were had, and true deep feelings were felt. Then other people’s lies ruined things, hurt and anger happened and things changed from there. But deep down, they always had those first feelings, those original feels that never left and always hoped would some day come back together again. I loved their story ❤️. I hated to read what Royal had to go through, broke my heart every time, but definitely explained a lot about how he acted. But I loved who he was inside, who Hannah was, and who they brought out in each other. I loved this series ❤️. If you haven’t read it yet, now is definitely the time to binge!

I pretty much thought I had Royal pegged after reading the first two books. I didn’t expect going from completely disliking him to feeling heartbroken for him and rooting for him!
It all makes perfect sense after reading this book. My heart broke after finding out what Royal had to live with and learning about some other uncomfortable secrets he kept from his friends and family. I’m so glad he had Sophie as a friend!
I really liked Hannah. She was pretty tough to be able to handle everything that Royal put her through but I did feel sympathetic towards her. It seemed like she just couldn’t get a break.
The end was pretty emotional, just a few waterworks. I loved the epilogue. This is one of those series where I’d love to read a reunion-type book where we get a look at where they all are in their lives five to ten years in the future.

First Loves

Royal & Hanna are complete opposites. He's been growing up in an abusive home & retaliates as a tough bully, lashing out & keeping to himself. Hanna gets her fair share of his bullying over the years during their school years. At a summer camp, she's had enough of the bullying & stands up to him, resulting in an agreement to be nice for the 2 months at summer camp. She gets under his skin & they find they are attracted to each other.

Not all is smooth sailing as Garrett, another guy at summer camp, is in love with her & does everything he can to get her to reciprocate the feelings. Royal & Hanna make up, only to realize he's leaving for boot camp & has 4 yrs of service. Can their love for each other stand the test of time or does she move on? A really good book to read & I would recommend this novel as well as the first 2 books of this series.

I recieved this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review

Here we have Royal & Hannah's side of their relationship & what it was that had made Royal be so nasty & get their peers at school turn against her which was something I always wondered throughout the series.
I had thought the 2 of them had a fairly long relationship during their school life, but we see *that's not the case*
We have such deep emotional episodes here especially from Royal's upbringing as well as the aftermath of their month together during a time for him punishment for Hannah gest feeling & giving off how close they become during this time & the dreams both of them had for when it was going back to school for their final 2yrs of their school life.
But that goes straight down the toilet on their final day...
Another absolutely fantastic episode of Mercy High, where I still do feel like these friends are older than they actually are

>Book Review – Have Mercy
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 3rd in the Mercy Academy series and ends in an HEA. This story revolves around the third BFF, Royal. Throughout the first 2 books, Royal was taciturn and rude. He was also clearly hiding something. It was cool when some of this book showed identical scenes from the first 2 books, but from Royal or Hannah’s point of view. Hannah is the do-gooder that both attracts and repels Royal.
>Royal has a horrific backstory that he hides from his BFFs all his life, yet he confides in a quasi-friend, Sophie, after she asks just once. Sophia betrays Royal by telling his secrets to Hannah, yet the story never mentions any fallout from that. Hannah is heartbroken by Royal, but gives him way too many chances to make sense. Their relationship is the most romantic of the 3 relationships in the series.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. The ending was rushed, but satisfying.

This is the third and final book in Hart's Mercy Academy series. It can be read as a stand alone but the whole series is great and I think are better read in order.

First let me just say how much I absolutely love Royal's name. Just his name is as beautiful as this tragically broken character. I am so in love with him and Hannah.

Hart does an amazing job in this read to give us a romance with opposites attract characters who have so much growth along with the heartbreak they experience. Oh to be a teenager again, with all the confusion and angst that brings. Throw in some jealousy and betrayal and you wonder if anyone can overcome it all. Love and hate are such a fine line to walk and Hart balances it to perfection in this read!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
