Terror of Justice
A thrilling story of revenge for the wronged and justice for the perpetrators. The story was gripping from the start to the end, and the end was somewhat surprising. A good story and a fast read.

Der Autor hat sich wohl von Susanne Preuskers Schicksal inspirieren lassen und daraus Kill Bill 2.0 gemacht. Die Umsetzung gefällt mir nicht und das Hörbuch langweilt mich, daher bei 64% abgebrochen.

Whooo! I just finished this book and wow it is so good and moves so fast. The author keeps the chapters short and the story keeps moving and moving like one of those non-stop bullet trains in Japan.
Last night I had read half the book and this morning I had to finish it! This thriller held up all the way through although you know from the beginning who the perpetrator is and why they are doing what they are doing. It’s not the longest book but everything you expect and want in a thriller is within the two hundred odd pages of this book. Twists and turns and a few ‘oh nos’ from me when I read the final twist at the end. Great book!
As short as the book is you get to understand the main characters and their motivation. Very original storyline that I have not come across before. I can’t tell you more than if you like a thriller that moves quickly and has twists and turns that you don’t expect, then, this should be your next read.

Till Buchinger is an expert in making people disappear. No, he doesn’t kill them, he helps them go deep into hiding. When the police from Hamburg, Germany lose a notorious serial killer, they reluctantly turn to Buchinger to ask for his help. But when it appears that Buchinger’s mentor/friend is also killed by this brutal killer, he finds himself working twice as hard to track down the killer. However, he finds himself in a bit of a sticky situation. He believes one of the policemen on the case, is trying to locate an ex-girlfriend who went into hiding, fleeing him. As a result, he has to keep his search away from the scope of the police.
This book had me holding my breath in anticipation…it was that good. And the ending was truly surprising. This is one of the best thriller’s I’ve read in a long time

Disclaimer: This audiobook was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
Given the perspective of the different characters made this a very engaging and enjoyable book. The tension is especially strong when the two characters are shown interacting with each other from each other's perspective. Really enjoyed it.
Narration by Richard Salem is greatly done, especially for all the male characters. However the way the female voices were made were really just not to my personal taste. They all sound like they are in great discomfort. I would rather they be read a little more normally, maybe with a slightly lift in for their dialogues so that it does not distract what they are saying and potentially feeling.

Die traumatisierte Psychologie rechnet nun ab, innerhalb kurzer Zeit gibt es viele tote. Alle haben mit ihrem Peiniger eine große Verbindung. Für mich wieder einmal ein sagenhaft gutes Buch. Man als Leser fühlt sich mittendrin im Geschehen, trotz das es des öfteren brenzlig wird möchte man einfach nicht mehr aufhören der Geschichte zu folgen. Bei der Hälfte würde mir bereits klar das hier wieder weit mehr hinter der Geschichte steckt. Marcus hat wieder gezeigt das er definitv viel fantasy und Spielraum lässt. Spannend, brenzlig und auch kurze Entscheidungen treffende Protagonisten spielen hier eine große Rolle. Selbst Till, der Personenfahnder, würde mir in laufe der Geschichte super sympathisch.
Mir hat dieses Buch sehr gut gefallen, 5 Sterne wert. Klare Leseempfehlung.

Es tut mir wirklich leid, aber ich hab mich jetzt dazu entschlossen das Buch bei der Hälfte abzubrechen...mich konnte die Story leider überhaupt nicht abholen. Vielleicht gebe ich dem Buch zu einem anderen Zeitpunkt nochmal eine Chance, da ich doch einige gute Bücher des Autors kenne. Aber aktuell würde ich mich nur durch die Story quälen.

In meinen Augen kaum Spannung, es war großteils sehr vorhersehbar. Habe einfach schon bessere Thriller gelesen. Schade
